LotT connections to AI Buster (SPOILERS!!!)

On the contrary. A great many details of Haruka Mizuhara's life are revealed in .hack//AI buster/2nd Character, the first story in AI Buster 2. And while various parts of the Epitaph have been collected and translated, the original is still very much a mystery.

Indeed, this is true, but he was referring to the original AI Busters, not volume two. As for the Epitaph, the original version was lost, so it's impossible to translate something you don't have access to. I would guess that the closest thing to the true Epitaph would be the pages Harold left in the World.

Albireo talks casually with Hokuto in one part of AI Buster and she said that she likes to think of herself as more of a poet... so I think that little part was to hint about her career.

I think that was supposed to be a Hakuto=Yeats connection, since Yeats roleplays as a traveling minstrel and posts poems on the board.

I personally don't think W.B. Yates has a known counterpart, though if I had to guess I'd say Ouka, not much is known about her.

I thought I heard somewhere that Ouka goes to Tokyo University. Wish I could remember where I got it from.

Ouka only started playing the World three years prior to UdeDen, so she can't be Yeats anyway.

I don't know if someone's mentioned it, but... Didn't someone say that Yates was Helba's daughter a while back? And that Yates was in fact Hokuto... I never have any real proof for what I say... aside from hearing someone else on here say it and have a reference that I always forget.

Heh. It was someone on GameFAQ's who started that load of crap. He claimed to have a clip of the Novel as backup and posted a fake conversation in the story. It was total bull. I even got the guy to admit it was a fake in an AIM session. pwned.

GameFAQs is a piece of crap. I went there once and they thought that Lycoris' name came from the candy, Licorish, and I never went there again. -________-

But I think W.B. Yeats is Hokuto, although there actually is a real W.B. Yeats which is weird. o_O I need to read the AI Busters... This topic is so confusing for me. @_@

Another main connection from AI Buster to LotT is the fact that Kamui knew Watarai, and they both have the same spear. (I think it's explained in AI Buster 1 or 2) There is a scene where she talks a lot about him and you see him in some panels.

Actually, it's 100% confirmed that Hokuto is W.B. Yates, since she was the only one besides Albiero who witnessed the Lycoris "Event" so only Hokuto could write a poem about it.
