Gibken logged into The World seeking escape from boredom. He sighed, hoping for a quickie break from homework.

"Well...well...this feels as fun as ever." As Gibken walked around Mac Anu he started to become annoyed by the increasing amount of arguments over who used the box and who didn't.

"God, if I didn't know better, this sounds more like a village riot than a root town. This is such a bothersome thing." Still though, Gibken was starting to get increasingly more tempted to use the box in order to "enhance" his experience.

He still had trouble thinking about it and it often caused him bad headaches.

Deciding to go stock up on medical potions, Gibken walked into shop area of the town.

"Hey, you don't use the box right?! If you do, then I'm gonna have to tell you to leave."

Gibken turned to face a sword pointing in his face. Inputting the command to move the sword out of his face, he spoke.

"Hey, calm down, I don't use the box, and I obviously don't want any trouble here. It's bad enough that people are arguing as far as I can hear."

"Alright, sorry man, it's just that my boss in this area is really strict with who enters. No hard feelings man, you can carry on." The blademaster bowed to Gibken and allowed him to continue.

"It's alright man." Gibken walked over to a nearby shop and bought some items.

"Thanks for your patronage!" The shopkeeper yelled.

Gibken waved his hand in the air in return.

Walking towards the Chaos Gate, Gibken overheard a loud argument, and by the looks of it, it was starting to escalate. Unfortunately for Gibken one of the arguers noticed Gibken looking at him and yelled out, "Hey! Do you have a problem with box users like this j#*$@** here?"

"Oh great not now, come on!" Gibken muttered.

Sighing heavily she logged back into the world again. She was still enraged by the Axemen that had cut her down. At first she thought of getting revenge herself, but then saw girl easily beat one of the Axemen.
Serves them right... she though triumphantly.
She slowly began to move down into the city again. 'The World' has started to feel unsafe to her. Every one started to feel intimidating to her. It wasn't just because of her small character size either. She was alone and has a weak class character. It made her an easy target.
She continued to walk through town and down to the bridge where the girl was.
"Can you believe those jerks!?" She huffed, crossing her arms and leaning on the side of the railing next to her.

(lol shugo. Wasn't expecting someone to take the role of that Wavemaster. Nice touch. But didn't you list your in game character as being male? Was there a typo? )

((You know. I don't really remember XD I guess her character just looks like a boy, but it's obviously apparent shes a girl offline))

(Just update your character profile to a girl so it doesn't confuse people...like me lol.)


Avantha turned her head to the new arrival and raised an eyebrow. "Do I know you?" she asked, the hostility apparent in her voice. She hesitated for a moment in thought. "Oh yea, you're the stupid wavemaster who tried to challenge those Axemen. So what if they are jerks? Most people are. Welcome to the world. And word of advice: I don't know what game you think you might be playing, but in this game someone wearing light armor tends to get their ass kicked by someone swinging a giant axe. You may want to think for at least two seconds before you piss them off next time...if you are even capable of that much."

She sighed and rested her chin on the railing, watching as a small flower drifted down to the canal and landed on the water. It disappeared every now and then as it flowed in the current, and she let off a little smirk at the small graphical glitch. She thought she heard something, and she turned to see that the wavemaster hadn't moved.

"Is there anything you want?" asked Avantha. "Did I not make it clear enough that I didn't want to talk to anyone?"

"You know what? I do not use the box, and I don't care. All this arguing is pointless and who cares if someone uses the box and someone doesn't? It's their decision and their life, so mind you business! God." Gibken sighed right after that, happy to get that off his chest. However, he looked up to see a heavy blade about to hit his face.

"Wrong answer bub. Both you and this idiot here are dead."

Gibken got hit in the chest and swung back. "Gah!" He hit the wall with a thud.

"Damn, why did I have to go and open my big mouth..." He wiped the blood from his mouth and saw the other PC flee the scene.

The heavy blade charged again.

"Crap." Gibken noticed a wavemaster by the bridge and yelled out, "Hey Wavemaster! I could use some healing please, and can someone get this guy off me?!"

"What is your problem? Don't you enjoy being here in the world?" she huffed hand put her hands behind her head.
She was right though... she thought. I shouldn't have gone off on the Axemen like that...
She sighed again and let her hands drop to her sides.
"I was just doing what I thought was right. I don't even get why there so hung up on the whole virtual box thing. After all, what do you have to gain from it?"
she turned around and stood on her tiptoes to look out over the bridge.
She noticed a player calling out to her. She quickly glanced around and yelled
"Who are you!?"

Scythe wandered away from the bridge, there really was no telling where she had gone off to, not with what little information she had on her at least. When she heard someone saying over local about how it didn't matter if someone used the box or not she couldn't help but smile. And then the obvious happened, the extremist turned on the moderate. We can't just let our fellow moderates be cut down, now can we? Long arms were one of the two fastest classes so D-=Scythe was able to cover the distance rather quickly and arrived in time to intercept the charge. A spear wreathed in flames cut through the air in front of the heavy blade and when it came back it slammed into his chest. James loved to use his "Wipes" they looked really cool with his scythe mod. "That was an attention getter. Do you wanna see what my doom can do?" James threatened, for the second time today. He didn't think this heavy blade would stick around to fight two people, but you never know.

"Just your average friendly neighborhood PC in peril." Gibken said as he rolled away from the Heavy Blade's attack.

The Heavy Blade's swings were starting to become increasingly more aggressive. "Argh! Die already!"

Gibken parried the blow with his spear and rotated the staff moving the blow over to the wall.

"Better finish this before I'm out... Double Sweep!" Gibken spun his spear and stabbed at the Heavy Blade, then proceeding to sweep once with the spear and bring the staff around his head again for another sweep, which damaged the Heavy Blade very well.

"Damn. You're gonna regret this Long Arm!" The Heavy Blade backed off running away.

"Well then, are you going to heal me?" Gibken said to the Wavemaster.

That doesn't help much... she thought grumpily. Mac Anu was crowded with people and it was hard to tell what was going on. Unless she knew what his username was she wouldn't be of much help. Finally, however. She had managed to catch up with the battle and made it to the scene. For a minute she glared at him angrily. Than she hit him over the head with her staff, even more infuriated than before.
"Who do you think you are!? Getting all uppity with me for not healing you. I don't even know who you are and you decide to yell at me! I can't believe you interrupted my conversation with another player for this!"
She stood up straight and made a snarl sort of look on her face. Making her character look more intimidating.

"Ow! Hey that hurt ya know. And for the record I wasn't yelling at you. Sheesh, it's just a game calm down." Great I'm down to at least 1/4 of my HP.

"Repth!" Gibken twisted his spear around and waved his hand up in the air, the resulting light healed him back to full strength.

Gibken sighed and opened his mouth again, "Ah....that's better," Turning around to the angry wavemaster he accessed the command for "point", "It doesn't even look like this PC wants to really talk to you anyways. But whatever, if you want to be angry, be angry. What does it really matter in this world?"

D-=Scythe rushed to the scene of Gibken's peril in time to see the beaten heavy blade scurry off with it's tail between it's legs. Oh no, you started a fight and now you're running because you're about to die and haven't saved in over an hour? I don't think so. Scythe at the ready she sprinted past the scene of the fight and caught up with the heavy blade as he was joining a group of friends. "This is why I'm called Deathscythe." James said as he used Vak Doom to finish the heavy blade off. "If you have values, you should be more devoted to them."

He had no delusions, James was sure the guy's two buddies would defeat D-=Scythe, but she would not be going down without a fight and she would not be retreating. The pair were caught off guard by the sudden attack and during the moment it took them to register what was going on she got off a vak wipe. She would be able to gave as good as she got, at least until her Sp ran out and she was reduced to only hitting one target. At which point, if they were any kind of intelligent, one would repth while the other swung and down would go Deathscythe.

He was sitting in there, looking at the orange sky "So, wanna go monster busting?" he looked at her "I know you're anxious..." he looked at the sea "It's a good combination isn't it?... well, let's go, where do you wanna go?" he stood up, fixing his scarf with cape combination, and noticed that his computer was playing music "Cool...." he helped her stand up

(Damn, I go to sleep and then it starts to get busy. Curse my need to sleep!)

Avantha sighed and shook her head as she watched the events unfold further down the bridge. "It's only morning and they're already fighting," she said in a low voice. "Isn't there anything better they can be doing in this game than beating the crap out of each other?"

She adjusted her view back to the canals, but this time took no notice of the scenery. Her eyes were closed and her mind was busy, lost in the memories of the previous week and trying to uncover any clues she might have missed in the recent events. "There has to be something that tells me where you are," she said in the same low voice. "You couldn't have just disappeared."

A loud bang echoed across the waters and Avantha nearly fell over as she was shaken from her thoughts. "Dammit," she said as she turned to watch the heated fight at the end of the bridge. She tried to ignore it, but the commotion was too distracting for her attention not to latch onto it. She left off an angry sigh and walked down the bridge, slipping out both daggers into her hands. The aggressive heavy blade which had instigated the brawl had already been taken out, bit his friend still remained. She raised her daggers and slit his throat before he even knew she was there.

"There," she said as the body grayed out and disappeared. "Fight's over. Now could you people please keep it down? I'm trying to concentrate on something important right now and it would be much easier if I didn't have to listen to you idiots."

"Huh..?" Eria blinked a few times as she came out of the daydream she'd been in for a while as they'd been resting and watching the sunset. It was so peaceful in the fields when you didn't have to worry about fighting the monsters. She smiled, a giggle escaping her, as she took Seige's offered hand to stand up before dusting herself off. It was great how much detail they'd put into the World, everything one could do and the Virtual Box just made it so much better. She loved it, she loved it all. "Come on, you should know by now I don't really care about the area so much. But..." She paused thoughtful, deciding to see if there was anything. Theirs was an interesting partnership, coming and going mostly as they pleased. Though they had each other's member addresses, they usually met up by chance in a random field or dungeon somewhere, charging to the other's aid whether they needed it or not. Today was a good example of 'not'. She'd been decimating the monsters for the fun of it when she turned to find Seige there, the final monsters already dead. It didn't bother her though. Things rarely did, here, in The World. "I don't feel like leaving Delta server quite yet though. That okay with you, Seige?" she asked back, once more smiling.

(You inserted two extras fighters which weren't there before, so I figured you had decided to prolong the fight. I was just simply ending it. I updated the post anyways to get rid of any confusion.)

D-=Scythe cast repth as soon as Sp permitted and got her hp back up. She hurried to catch up with Avantha as she returned to the bridge. "Thanks for the assist and sorry about the trouble it caused you. I just hate to see people who start a fight try to escape when things don't turn out how they want. Maybe I can make it up to you, is there anything you need help with?" The familiar ping of a message rang in James's ears. He smiled upon seeing who it was from, the guy he had just killed. It contained about what one would expect from a teenager who didn't get his way, lots of swearing and poor grammar. He archived it in the Reaped folder and returned his full attention to the conversation at hand.

"If I needed any help then I would have asked for it," said Avantha. "And I don't recall ever asking for anything...unless I'm starting to have blackouts." She walked back up the bridge to where she had stood before, but she did not sheath her daggers. She stared at them with a thoughtful face, as if she could see something in them that others can not. "I can handle all my problems on my own," she said, more to herself than to anyone around her. "I am able to handle my life on my own, so I am more than capable of handling a stupid game on my own. I don't need help with anything...or with anyone..."

Her voice drifted off as she stared at the daggers and her words degraded to small mumbles under her breath, as if she was talking to someone that could not be seen.

One of those "I don't need anybody" types. Still, she helped me out, even if I didn't ask for it. So she's not as selfish as she's playing it. "Alright, shoot me a message if that changes. I don't like being indebted to others." Warp rings surrounded D-=Scythe as James logged out.
