Ok, I'm going to clarify now: "This has to be the most legitimate (genuine) show ever...", as in everything in the show is real, ghosts, spirits, or whatever else.

The topic in the thread is Ghost Hunters. I should have named the thread, "Ghost Hunters has to be the most genuine ghost hunting show ever..."

No one asked me to explain sarcasm and that wasn't the topic of the thread. I wasn't wrong to use it in the first place, so people really need to keep on topic.

I think he means legit/genuine in the sense that it is not legit/genuine.

I don't think anyone got the Carey Elwes reference (he played in Robin Hood: Men In Tights, a parody).

Well, sarcasm works best via vocal tone. It's hard to convey through text so trying to use sarcasm online without a flagging indicator is sort of a jackass move.

"That show is so legit." Compare to, say, "Yea, pffright, that show is SOOOOO legit."

You could've made it more clear.
