Do you suppose it will become "free" after another beating (meaning it escapes out of Ovan's PC after a fight).
Which would explain why that face was just floating everywhere.
I'm not sure it will be "escaping" so much as consuming ovan and becoming the dominant being.
after all, the arm is growing more an more. it's far creepier for ovan to get eaten by a giant monster than it merely fly out of him.

It appeared to be shooting meteors. However when I first saw it, it looked like it shoot the actual Cubia head (since those jellies were with its explosion)
Now that I think about it, all we see with Cubia <Alpha> is his head, his probes and that rock-thing. Somthing tells me he is going to break free of that rock an he will reveal his body. And it will probably look scarier and creepier than he ever did in IMOQ.

Well if I remember correctly Cubia was the anti-existence of the bracelet formed from the negative energy after Kite data drained Skeith. Well during the the trailer at 1:20 it shows 3rd form Haseo data draining then immediately shows the second form of Skeith infected afterwards. Maybe this means that Skeith got infected and Haseo had to fight and data drain Skeith, which would have created Cubia.
Or maybe I'm just overthinking things and Cubia is the anti-existence of all the epitaph users
He was affected w/ Skeith but we can see that he data drained someone in area where avatars are..........also that episode where Aura siting in center of Obans mark, maybe she was taken captive in it ?

Cubia being an anti-exsistance is crazy enough. Hmm, I wonder how they are going to beat it this time. Last time they had to destroy the bracelet, but this time, we don't know what it's the anti-exsistance of?
According to the theory i've seen from some people, Cubia is the anti-existence of the Avatars.
So...We would have to kill them?? o.O
Or maybe Cubia's death will bring the death of the Avatars??

If that was true then wouldnt that hurt the actual players (since the avatars have grown into them. And if taken away it may be like taking drugs off an addict. Life threatening).

Removing Epitaph Data from the character causes the character data to colapse, which is what hapened to Atoli in Vol.2.
An Anti-existence only manifests when there is some strong power that exists. Think Yin and Yang. So the real question here is what power is actually bringing him back. And if Cubia is conected to the AIDA.

The way the Avatars seem to be merging in the trailer implies that it's safe if you give away your Epitaph willingly. If the Avatars are discarded of your own will, it would probably be safe.
I would guess that Cubia will be the same as in Quarantine, where no matter how much you beat his face in, he won't die unless you destroy the light casting the shadow. So the Avatars are gonna have to go to take out Cubia and the AIDA.
Though, my theory being that an Anti-Existence is only born if the power is in the hands of something the system can't control (a player), giving the Avatars to Aina might make them safe and neutralize Cubia and the AIDA, fixing all the problems of the world and allowing Aina to complete the RA Program on her own.

Although Azure Kite doesn't count as an Epitaph User, I believe he did have Epitaph Data, with the whole Azure Flame God thing, so the best example would be Azure Kite after Haseo this time didn't hold anything back to datadrain his Epitaph Data, or Epitaph Copy Data. I'm guessing in the scene with Ovan, his Epitaph data is also getting extracted, since his arm was cracking in the Vol 3 trailer.

i dont think hes the anti existance of the avatars, killin them off woudl be stupid, maybe he isent even an anti existance or maybe this time killing him is diffrent.
Well I really should be calling it Avatar Data, rather then Epitaph Data XD, basiclaly the Avatar Data must be one of the main constructs of the character, sorta like the character being glass inside, and the Avatar being the hard clay protecting that glass. And a strong force always pressing against that clay, once the clay is completly destroyed, the force will easily be able to destroy the glass.
Most horrible comparison I can do towards Avatar PCs

Is it a viable option to destroy the light this time? Eliminating the avatars eliminates the remains of the Morganna system, and if that programming is still required to keep The World functioning, then wouldn't the the game crash? The darkness would be neutralized, but along with all of the virtual existance as well.
