Naruto's a champ. I like him because he never gives up. They reflected this excellently in the card game, I hear, by having him get stronger when injured.
You have to admire his ambition as well. He's determined to become the next Hokage.
I just wish Sakura were nicer to him.

I think its decent. It is the only show so far that I prefer the sub to the dub. It definatly gets better from the chunin exam on.

~When you're on the couch, and laughing at 'So Raven: You're smokin' too much pot, you're smokin' too much pot
That's a lyric from a parody rap heard on MadTV. I just had to add that.

It has nice action, a decent plot and memorable characters. I have to say though that alot of the filler eps can get pretty bad, but I guess they could be a lot worse. Awsome overall show. 8)

Subs for the win. :P

I just watch it since nothing else is on. Not much to watch since Gits 2nd gig ended.

I like seeing sakura's forhead get bigger thoughout each episode though...

You should only watch the show because of the action and adrenaline..
The clothes get annoying because you see so many people in real life wearing them..
The story line takes alot of pit stops along the way, and all those fillers tend to get boring after a while..
Get down to it, you just wanna see kids dressed in funny clothes trying to knock each others lights out.

Well, the action is okay but I really like the music and the inbetweens. The show does a pretty good job on the fighting but the music is really what I like about the show.

Naruto is over-rated. The only thing that makes it so popular is that it's about ninjas. As far as story goes, it's about as shallow and slow-moving as any Dragonball series is. Not to mention all of the filler episodes. No matter how I look at it though, the "cool moves" and short action scenes really don't compensate for the gross amount of substance that the series lacks.

If you like the series, that's fine. I just don't think it's the "awesome" series that it's hyped up to be. If you like ninjas and actions scenes are the only thing that are important to you, than Naruto is your show.

Kinda but I don't really think of the show to be a one shot anime like S-cry-ed. True the episode are slow and annoying at some times but the way the story plays out is interesting.

but then i found a certain character named Itachi. who's a hottie.

I found the Chuunin exams to be the most interesting part. Except for some of the ongoing battle episodes. The way some of the battles are played out are ridiculous because you basically know who is going to win but and some of the episodes past that, "chase scenes", were a waste of time in my opinion.

I love the story and the action is top-notch. The characters' development is very interesting too. Now I just gotta get into reading the Manga. :P
