I think it was Corey, not Diane Mizota, who first hosted Cheat. Either way, the show's pointless. Just go to GameFAQ's for cheats/walkthroughs/etc..

For the Poll, I voted it was just okay. Alot of the old shows i used to watch are now gone. I grew up watching Victor Lucas and Tommy Tallarico argue and battle about which games sucked more then others. I remember Cory Rouse, the original Cheat master (Frankly, cause he was the first to do a segment of .hack on his show) and yes, i remember Bill Sindelar on Blister. That show was awesome, especially with his segment "The Sindelar Zone" strictly based to the dot hack series. Anime Unleashed, where have you gone? Dual, Gad Guard, Last Exile, the list could go on. And Filter? The old one was great, but i have a bad feeling about this new one. It doesnt even look like its gonna stay on track with the original. If they didn't leave X-PLAY, cinematech, and icons on, i would disown G4.

Filter, Cinematech, and Electric Playground were the only shows that I watched but started watching X-Play after I noticed that Electric Playground was no longer showing any new episodes. My question is why is G4 trying to be like Comedy Central and Spike TV, that's just plain stupid.

well its not like theyre trying to be like Comedy Central or Spike TV, its just that theyre just trying to be as mainstream as possible which is just stupid imo. especially considering the history that TechTV had, which was pretty good, but now thats all ancient history thanks to the morons at G4.

WAIT! WAIT! WHATS THIS NOW!!?? Last night, at 12 midnight, theres this new show called "Cheaters"? What does it do? They follow boyfriends/girlfriends who are cheating on them and catch them on videotape by stalking them? OK, that is it! G4 has officially mutated into a piece of crap.

i wonder what could lead these people to believe we actually like this garbage. for crying out loud i was checking out the upcoming schedule for g4techtv and i friggin saw a show called "Peep show!" wtf?! geez i'm beginning to believe the people who really send x-play hate mail is those wierdos that want these new shows.for example, I am a Full Metal Alchemist fan, i watched the whole series, played the games, saw the review that said it sucked and i agreed with them! i am a fan, i want more than a friggin peice of garbage shoved in a wrapper thrown at me! ...has anyone else wanted to become an intern for xplay jus for the heck of it?

I've practically disowned it already. I watched their E3 coverage (well, it seems everybody has already heard about it). They just covered the same old stuff over and over again. They thought the Halo 3 trailer was the greatest (i thought it was crappy and just a shiny effort to bring back the series.) I used to only watch Xplay, star trek (hardly ever, only on a good ep) or the man show (nothing else on but the simpsons at that time, and they only show the recent ones). They took Xplay into this block called Smash-up, to make it at 4. I have satellite though, so it appears at 1! i'm in school and they never show it at any other damn time! i'm through with g4. it can rot in hell and see if i'll care.

i am aware, but at the time that i do get home from school the replay is already over.
with the oncoming of star trek 2.0, they removed from the original time, when i did watch it. now the only time i get to watch it is at 1 am on weekends and sunday mornings.

i would say fastlane, but i don't really see it on there a lot. I would say take off at least 2 hours of star trek. 4 hours of trek a day is too much.

yeah that show is like on one of the local channels, i should know since one of my friends watches that show, but man is it getting that bad where its not even about techlology anymore, although ive said this before.

but my main wonder is how this network is even still around? its a mystery in itself. personally G4 lacks a point for existing in my estimation. like what most of you say, "G4 can rot in hell", but seeing how bad it is i dont think the devil himself would want that lol

G4 sucks... all they have that's not cr... well, everything is pretty bad nowadays. It's as if they got bored of what the channel is all about and just veered off into a military bunker's wall.

And that's just because that exert reminded me of dropping my gamecube down 2 flights of stairs and still worked fine.

X Play is the only show I can stand and WTF is with Star Trek 2.0??? God that's a failure's meeting point...

almost all of the G4 shows are completely pointless. Come on, who wants to watch Street Fury, Fatslane, and theMan Show. Notot mentin that new Filter show with thatwhite chick. I don't even think the new Filter has anything about counting down GAMES! I agree with you all. G4 can rot in hell for all i care.

G4 is OK. Possibly the only reasons I watched it were for XPLAY and Attack of the Show. Now that Attack of the show has become nothing more than a rip off of most of the TV shows on Spike TV, XPLAY is now the only hope G4 has of keeping my attention. Even though XPLAY is falling victim to the G4 marketing, they still keep they're witty comments about pop culture, videogames and history, while keeping a really comedic(spelling?) feel to the show, which is awesome, considering in all other game review shows, each of the hosts are HAPPY GO LUCKY about their jobs.

True XPlay is good show. But now it just sux because of the marketing and how they are trying to make the network mainstream. it truly is sad to see something so sweet die off so quickly.

After watching an episode of XPLAY, I'm sitting here trying to figure out how they got stuck still being on G4. Did you know that people who bought the G4 channel are actually getting Tech TV programming? it's like all they did was switch the networks around...

It was decent until they started to "try" to be hip and cool with every other genere on TV. it really is a shame i hate star trek (no offence to those who like it its just...i wont go into that) and some random crap is on all time. I do owe, uhh i think they wer screen savers back then, but i owe them my life, they "hooked" me up with my psp, i would have been able to get all those hacks and mods onto it.
AOTS: rarely do i see video game coverage or tech coverage. it went completely backwards and i find myself checking the channel just to make sure. Filter.......they should be shoot, their body should defecated on, and.......nvm, but first Diane was hot (i have a thing for asian's) and the show was relevent to G4"TECH"tv, i remember teh summer list with all the gadegts and everthing...good days. but now, does this new girl every PLAY games? i hate to be a "geek" but come on...."Giving you the list you didnt know you needed."...uhhh cause i DIDNT jack hole. i'f i wanted to see that sorta stuff there 3235690 ca-billion other channels for that. The E3 coverge was..uhhh not coverage..i went on the site and.... it was so samll the combined powers of two people, that have never created a site could have done better. Did they NOT know the significance of E3 to? i was expecting SOOOO many more game coverage from them(G.U. BABY!!!!!!), but no....i got 5 games that remotly remeber, ONLY BECAUSE THEY SHOWED THE TRAILER ABOUT OHH I DONT KNOW, (sry for caps) every commercial. I fwould have to wait an HOUR inorder to see supposed coverage on 1 thing they said they were goin to show a hour ago. Cheat. that show........for one the guy before was good, and i could watch him, i felt that he actually knew what he was talking about, and not reading from a horible scribt. he also didnt tell short shallow chessy jokes, unlike some people *cough* kristen holt *cough* and...and.....i'm done Howevr G4"Tech"(cant seem to find to much 'tech' anywhere, what is it supposed to mean? technolgicly challenged?) did have its good points. but i'm to tired to go through them, sry if i sounded one sideed and ignorant but they screwed "alot" of shows up....i'm done
