They heroically rescued the WWE title from the clutche's of the Evil Cena!

WWE has just went and capsized years ago and the revival of the ECW has put it back on track since no other federation is big enough to really compete with the WWE but I still like to see the WWE now and then, and I wasn't a terribly great fan of ECW or WCW for that matter.

I stopped watching wrestling after I turned 12, when I found out it was fake. But I liked both, because WWE had most of my favorite wrestlers, and ECW was a good back up when there wasn't anything on TV. Plus there was this one wrestler for ECW (I forgot his name) who was strangely funny.

Now that WWE officially owns ECW, are they not the same entity? They've got Cena and Edge interfering on ECW's grand tv return this past week, and both of the ONS ppvs were flooded with the likes of JBL.

Extreme Championship Wrestling was converted from Eastern Championship Wrestling. WWF's Attitude Era was birthed from Heyman's ECW (which VKM partially funded). And after the WWE monster ate up both WCW and ECW, they spat up this ECW rehash that has me squirming at the thoughts of another Sandman/Zombie squash match.

My vote is for Paul E. Dangerously's original incarnation of ECW.
