The term "Azure Flame" did show up when you confronts him in the avatar battle. And ther eis still the wall papper name.Häschen wrote:Not trolling, just a serious question. Has the game or the disc that comes with it or anything besides fans basically ever reffered to Tri-edge as Kite of the Azure Flame or whatever yall keep calling him. I heard during the final fight in the first game with Tri-edge (or something like that) Tri-edge's character name is shown as Kite but does it say, "of the Azure Flame," behind it too? If not, I wish yall would stop calling him that cause people are starting to beleive it's his actual name now. Unless, it is then go ahead. lol
[SPOIL] - Scan of the 2nd vol. (edit 1)
But, there's also the titles:
Balmung of the Azure Sky
Orca of the Azure Sea
along with the Azure Flames,
BUT I don't get it!!! >__< >__< >__< >__< >__<
NOOOOOOOOO!!!!! This is way too confusing!!!!
But hey, if Orca etc. are also AIDA then what kind of 'relationship' do you think they all have?
What next, an evil BlackRose?
Man, this looks good...T_T but hey, I was wondering, WHY THE HELL IS YOWKOW IN THE PARTY???
I thought she was suppossed to be a PK

Someone should mark this thread as a spoiler, most every post has a spoiler in it... ¬_¬
Yowkow is not a PK, she's a former Arena champion who was defeated by Endrance... ...She knows Endrance 'cheated' in some way and vowed revenge, as she does when Haseo 'cheats' to beat her as well.
But I would also like to know why an apparent enemy is now allied with Haseo, what does the article say about her?

Overall goings on can override a personal vendetta. Chances are she'll still want to beat Haseo fair and square, but an overall threat to them all can make enemies come together. Either that, or she and Haseo do fight fair and square and the vendetta is resolved first, and she joins up. But I feel the first idea is more likely.
As for marking the topic for spoilers, I think it's pretty obvious this topic is going to be spoiler ridden when you consider we're talking about the second volume. I personally feel the topic title speaks for itself, but I suppose some people will still wander in without thinking.
I'm more interested in knowing how Endrance ended up trapped in ice. Last we saw of him in Rebirth showed nothing that would say how that could happen.

Was he not referred to as 'Kite of the Azure Flame' by Yata? I believe that was his official name according to the Administration while 'Tri-Edge' was the name given to him because of the rumours surrounding him and his triple-edge blades.Kuukai wrote:No one's questioning the term "Azure Flame", just the term "Kite of the Azure Flame".
I know he was referred to as 'Kite of the Azure Flame' in GU+.
Both do seem likely and I have to agree with you, maybe Haseo proved he could defeat her fairly or she wishes to help Haseo free Endrance in order to fight him? Until a translation is given, there's no way of knowing for sure.Gaia wrote:Overall goings on can override a personal vendetta. She may have simply wised up when she realised that she couldn't log out...
I'm interested in that two, though apart from the fact that... ...Endrance is trapped in a shard of ice under a lake, there's not really any more info on the situation. How he got into such a situation is anyone's guess really.Gaia wrote: I'm more interested in knowing how Endrance ended up trapped in ice. Something else I would love to know is whether or not Balmung and Orca are capable of using Data-Drain like Tri-Edge? The implications of whether or not they can seem quite strong.

Right I've just read through this whole thread and people keep on mentioning that you would face "Corrupt Orca and Corrupt Balmung" TOGETHER. But from what I've seen you haven't actually taken the possibility they could be introducing one of them and You'd only face one of them and the other in the third volume. Well that's what I think anyway, I need to grab a copy of Rebirth but it's not going to come out in the UK for a while and I'm not able to read Japanese (just yet) and I'm not willing to shell out masses for an NTSC-US PS2.
Anyway, that's just my two cents.

If that was true, why wouldn't they reveal them alongside Tri-Edge?
It wouldn't make sense to reveal the big bad of Vol. 3 now, and that's why I believe Balmung and Orca will both be defeated in Vol. 2.
No one said we would fight Balmung and Orca at the same time, there's not a great likelihood of that happening, I believe it will be Orca and then Balmung.

Oops I must of mis-interperated then.Umbra wrote:No one said we would fight Balmung and Orca at the same time, there's not a great likelihood of that happening, I believe it will be Orca and then Balmung.
Alot of RPGs have released things that weren't going to happen before, the producers quickly amend and take things out. But meh I could be very wrong with this.Umbra wrote:If that was true, why wouldn't they reveal them alongside Tri-Edge?

or its just because his twin blades have two extra blades on each oneKuukai wrote:I knew it! You pretty much can't deny who those two shilhouettes are now. Go ahead, try
I was embarrassed to say it before when everyone would think I was insane, but this is potentially why he is "Tri-edge"...

Perhaps the maker of these dudes?
I believe Kuukai meant that Tri-Edge had a double-meaning behind it, apart from referring to his triple-edged blades or the three-blade mark, it could also apply to the three most powerful warriors in The World.Kite ANBU/Dark/ wrote:or its just because his twin blades have two extra blades on each one
Morganna was assimilated into Aura and destroyed, I have no idea how many times it has been said but she no longer exists.elk4 wrote:brobobly moranna or cubia or some other person
Cubia didn't possess Morganna's advanced AI, it was programmed to fight the bearer of the bracelet and grow more powerful as they did, little else is required.
mabye some on mabye tri-edge or/and his corupted buds(orca and balmung)
maby created a new cubia to kill aida-pcs and all of the normal people or they may have rewritten cubias data to kill aida-pcs and all of the normal people its just a thery or mabye they created a new morganna or at the final vol3 they fuse into on all powerful aida or god of the something (mabye the god of the azure world? its just theries

Well; the way I see it, Balmung, Orca, and Kite formed "The Legendary Party", the strongest players in the world. (3 to a party.)
I would think that Tri-Edge would only be defeated after Kite AIDA, Balmung AIDA, and Orca AIDA are destroed, Tri-Edge has three "PHASE modes", for the three party members.
^ That sound like it somewhat fits?
