umm....i wasn't sure but is the MU gardian in quarintine...? if it isn't i don't think i aveever fought it... don't know buti think i have read that the MU guardian wa in mutation but i have neve fought it! jus give me the key words and i will check it out...aww wo am i kidding? my memory card boke and the memories gt all erased...beated kingdom hearts too
and the rest of the goodgames i'd play like the .hack// series!!!

I believe there is also a data bug that becomes a Mu guardian in one of the required dungeons in //infection. Can anyone verify that?

There's that, but it's not a required dungeon. There are actually three different Mu Guardian data bugs:
One appears as a boss at the beginning of Mutation where you take Mia and Elk.
One appears a lot as an encounter in the secret Mia dungeon in Quarantine the above guy was talking about.
Another one appears as an encounter in one of the secret areas for Outbreak in Sigma. Unusual Ghostly Remnant.
However... one or two of them may become a Nega Guardian when drained rather than a Mu.
