Game Name

Hello! When starting the game, did you use "Kite" or a custom name?
if so, what name did you use?

I used Suyo! My frined wants to be a wavemaster...so i made him jelous cuz i get to play the game as the class i want. lol..

I would imagine whether you use any name you want, you'd still get the same character... a twinblade... because if you didn't, the storyline would be all messed up...

I used a custom name. What name did I use you ask? *Points to user name* I used Beowulf. I used it, because I wanted a name that would fit in nicely with the .hack//theme. Beowulf as some of you know is a character and an old Anglo-Saxon epic poem. I wanted to have a name that would rival in history with the likes of Siegfried (Sieg) and Balmung (or Gram) which is the sword of Siegfried. That is why I chose the name Beowulf, also...I didn't care to much for the name Kite. Of course, Beowulf doesn't really fit for a twin blade class. Beowulf is a much better name for a Blade Master or Heavy Blade class. But that couldn't be helped since there is no ability to choose what class you want to be.

You know what? That was the FIRST TIME!!!! that I ever used the handle "Einsamkeit" in anything. I was lonely one day, and translated loneliness into german, and found Einsamkeit, and was like "why not, lets use it for the .hack" series.

And boy did it stick...

just left at default. It makes more sense, and i could not think of a name for him. a friend of mine replaced Kite with Idiot so BlackRose would say "I'm counting on you Idiot!"

I used the name Nitsuj as my custom name. Nitsuj is a character my sister and I created along with 3 other characters.

When I got Infection I knew nothing about Dot Hack. So I saw Kite, and I said what a stupid name. Since I was so obsessed with CCS I chose Syaoran.

you have to call Kite ,Kite or else he wouldnt be Kite.

He'd still be the same character, though. I just really don't like my characters named after a mindless object....kite...

Nitsuj worked better for me. (In Nitsuj, the "J" is silent)

that's what i find annoying about these game's.

i wish they would just at least say the default name. you know the one which they say that you play through the game as everywhere else but the actual game!
