Virus Core I

Why is this Virus Core so hard to obtain? I've been fighting Skull Devilgons, Magatumkuros, and Death Implants for 3 hours and all I've gotten were Items. I'm using the normal Data Drain. Should I use 2128 Drain? I want to progress. I'm level 73, and the area I'm hacking into is Lv 65. I don't want to overkill my levels.

i'v always had luck getting them with data arc

Get your infection to blue if it isn't. After you get it up there, you'll be more likely, so drain away. If it's already blue, well, I can't help you there.

How about after getting it up there (or if it is), kill a monster between each drain.

i just got through that part with the four data bug location's and OH so many virus core's and it took me like 5 hour's to get all of them.

i hate virus core's and DD!
