Data Bugged Monsters Without Data Draining

Has anyone ever tried to actually kill a Data bugged Monster without using Data Drain? And how long did it take you to figure out afterwards, that it wasn't going to die?

Well i feel like I read this somewhere else also but maybe i'm wrong.
To answer your question yeah I tried it and it didn't work. I kept attacking it to the point where the data bug's HP didn't go down anymore and i think that sucks that you have to use data drain to defeat it. The reason I tried it because if I thought you can gain more experiece points if you don't use data drain.

If you posted it in this section, then you need to show me where it is. I went back through the pages of this section to see if there was a topic of this sort and I found none. Now, I could have missed something or it's not there [due to deletion]. But if that's the case, then how am I to know that it has already been discussed?

Wasn't there a data bug in the game that you had to kill without data drain? Aside form Corbenik

Try killing the house golem data bug. If any data bugs could be killed w/o data drain then it's that one.

Death can reduce them down to half hp, after that they stop losing health.

Yeah on the mission that Lios said you couldnt use datadrain. It had 9999 HP
