Speaking of that! What was up with the South Park spoof? They HAVE South Park in Japan....?Cless wrote:The guy with the huge eyebrows was the funniest character especially when they did that scene that made fun of South Park.
I enjoyed this series a lot. Anyone care to explain the whole point of that long glucose conversation; was it thematics at work or something?

Firstly, yeah there were manga scenes in the anime (which were funny as heck) but there are FLCL graphic novels out. Maybe you just haven't been looking at the right stores? They're there.
The main agreement about what FLCL was about is...: FLCL was a coming of age story and they throw a bunch of symbolism in there everywhere. It was about growing up from kid to adult and dealing with change in life and also the obvious plot with Atomsk, Haruko, Medical Mechanica, and then some.

yeah, what most people get put of it was along the lines of "In order to be an adult, you gotta be a kid first." and i liked the art style for the manga, it was just really crappy, thats why i liked it.sirk wrote:Firstly, yeah there were manga scenes in the anime (which were funny as heck) but there are FLCL graphic novels out. I can't remember what episode it was but it had a lot of reports crowding the mayor daughter. All I know is Naota father is involved because of the conversation that happens when she was cleaning herself in the bathroom when she slept over at his house. Tbat's all I know. I found the manga and thinking of getting it. For reals..hack//idiot wrote:When was she in trouble? The manga explained a little bit. I was wondering what was it that the governors daugher got in trouble for. I never figured that out.

Hmmm, that kinda explains why the governors daughter acts the lady tht drives her to school everyday. That and when I was reading the manga I have a feeling Naota was an orphan..hack//idiot wrote:She wasnt in trouble her father was accused of a crime and cheating on his wife. Thats why the media was swarming around their house.
