That tsukasa was a girl?
In the first episode you see someone in a skirt lying on the floor. Then they cut to the world.
So even after the fist ten minutes i knew Tsukasa was either a girl or a ... cross dresser.
After the first couple episodes, when we saw the flashbacks, I started to suspect it. I didn't really start to believe anything until they confirmed it later in the series though.
The mystery and conspiracy was good as well as the character persona's. I wanted to see more or at least figure out what was going on. That and the intro was catchy as well as the ending theme and the music on the series.
They sort of did things the same way it was done in The Sixth Sense. You don't really notice all the clues until they finally say it. Then when you watch it again, you can pick them out like crazy and it becomes incredibly obvious.
What was really a plot twist for me was that Tsukasa was a person. Since SIGN is full of red herrings, I had half a mind to think that Tsukasa was an AI that thought he was a person and that the comatose girl was some random chick.

Well I didn't think too much about Tsukasa being an girl it just made all the Drahma in the story line more real well almost sort of but really I didn't see that coming but yeah it seems .Hack can throw anything at you and make you think I think that why I did like .Hack//Sign. becuse they seem to Twist the story a bit and the ending could not be what you thought it was going to be.
I've only seen the first 5 episodes, and when I it was on a dvd so I was able to rewind it so if you missed it on tv i guess you wouldnt be able to rewind. Other than that I had no evidence.

Yeah that and his emotions where used to create Aura.

I was left guessing with the possibilities. Other comatose victims at that point included the Silver Knight, the strange girl above the bed, and - heck, maybe the coma girl was that "Illegal Cat Player-Character".
