Plastic Sword. Please Help.

In the Dungeon of Collapsed, Pagan, Remains, you meet rachel, a trading specialist (you cant really call her a specialist so scratch that.) after returning the love archery and satisfying all the traders, you are left with a "Plastic Sword" that goes under the "Key Items" Section of your Personal Window. (Triangle button.) What does the Plastic Sword do..? Is there any use for it..? Does anyone want it..? What do you do with it..? Can it be even used in the game..? Please Help!

No function whatsoever. Just for comic purposes because it sounds funny. Then again, so do the other ones like "Paper Cloak". et al.
