Flag Racing Help: Sigma Server/Fort Ouph

This is probably the only time I'll be actually asking for help... lol.

But anyways, I've been doing a challenge of clearing EVERYTHING there is to clear in each volume before moving on to the next. And that includes getting all the "Book" items to get the max stats Kite can legally have without cheating. In each volume I even collected stuff like Sports Drinks and Cooked Bile so I could trade with the 12 people who trade and still have books rather than a rare item.

But anyway.

With this, I am also trying to get all three Golden Grunties and Silver Grunties in each of the flag races. You know, how you have three chances to get them and once you get it three times, it's replaced by a scroll of some sort or whatever. What makes this harder is having to keep beating myself, and also squeeze into second place three times based on the stats.
Anyway, I've managed to do it in three of the servers, and it was a ****. Sigma is where I'm having some trouble. The race was hard enough to win once. And seeing as I'm going to have to beat myself two more times I wouldn't want to win by TOO much.

So... does anyone have a strategy? Assuming anyone else has actually DONE this, haha this is just about the only thing I haven't done.

Yeah i agree with Tri-Edge 1 there really is no strategy it just depends on how good you play it. Also when I play it I think of racing games. That kind of helps well to me. But I don't think there is a strategy that can be use.

(Even I try some and still never won)

practice, practice, practice... yeah right. i played it like 20 times over and i never got higher than second... so maybe if u grease up ur gruntys feet he will... no never mind that would make it worse... sticky tape!! double sided, thatll do the trick! JK

... none taken, i do suck at grunty racing...

well not so bad since last night, i got in a lot of practice and im doing better... its actually very funny looking back and seeing how bad i was

well you might be bad but I'm even worse in flag racing. I get stuck everywhere I turn to and laugh at myself because it is so funny how I get stuck multiple times!

i don't love is the fact that the players
always..out of nowhere get in my waaay..
that makes always wanting to PK them..
i mean if you see a giant animal/Pig
comeing at you..you might as well run out
of the way!

hell yeah! those are the kinds of things that drive me to becoming a PKer, not that i wouldnt be one anyways... JK well maybe not...

I never got to gruny race because of the fact that I was not able to raise anything besides a noble grunty/ I spent 4 times the time it took me to beat the game trying to raise one.

I managed to beat the Sigma grunty race. I used the Aqua Grunty for this race and the trick is when to turn. If you turn at a certain point you could drag across the corner you can cover more distance in a short time. This took me a while and I mean a while but I managed to get it.
