Godzilla

In 1954 Toho limited put out a movie called godzilla, the movie was written as a warning of the effects of nuclear war, but ended up becoming a franchise of movies staring the big lizard fighting many various monsters, and usualy destroying quite a bit of japan. I love any godzilla movie, (including the american iguana one.) and i guess i wanna know what others feel about it, so if ya have an opinion on it, i guess heres the place to put it.

Exactly, i agree fully, The king of the monsters thing came from the title of the first one, and probably the dozens of "Godzilla Vs." movies. Hell even in "godzilla 1986" they say that once man starts to play god and over step its bounds, nature fights back in full force. Raditaion kills, no power or nothing, just slow death, and godzilla was baisicly a walking metaphor for the atomic bomb.

I heard in one of the 2000 movies he was taken down after being hit by a couple of missiles. What did they do to the all mighty Godzilla. I mean the cartoon made him look invincible.

ah... the american version. Yeah, that one was less of godzilla and more of a mutant iguanna, he did die after a few missles to the chest. The Original one how ever, is damn near invinsible.

Yep, they did. They even have a godzilla off in " Final wars" They put the old one against the american one... and for some reason They have sum 41 playing in the back round... anyways, needless to say, The new one dies before the song even gets good...

That must of been a let down. I mean the cartooon theme song must of been more catchy even when his cousin Godzuki (however you spell his name) can only puff smoke from his mouth.
