Tsukasa and Subaru's relationship.

I havent' seen it in the books but I was told if you get the last three episodes in sign it will show you or something like that.

It's in .hack//Zero. I haven't read it and I don't believe there are any translations available online but I've heard from a few different sources that they make passing references to Sign characters. It says that Tsukasa and Subaru have been on a few dates and that they keep in contact through phonecalls and email. They're also upset that they can't see each other IRL as much as they'd like.

It's been a while since I last read that chapter, but I can confirm that though they haven't met often IRL, they do write to each other regularly.

I really don't mind them being an couple. I know some people might not like the fact that Tsukasa is a girl in the real world but as I see it love is love that if they really are deep with one another I know there was hints in Sign...but I was suprised at the ending of Sign win the truth was showed but that didn't change how I felt about them so that is my in sight on Tsukasa and Subaru.

I liked that and how the show does a good job with it too. I mean even though on the last episode we got to see the person behind Tsukasa I thought it was cool.

Silentop... as far as I know, online translations either aren't public/hard to find/don't exist, meaning people who own the actual material translate bits.

I don't see why it's so hard however to think of Tsubasa and Subaru being in a relationship, in a mature manner. -_- Thinking that lesbians are icky/there is no way they could be together or that lesbians are hawt zomg doujin plz is extremely immature...

I thought the script writers basically imply they're going to be in somekind of a relationship when Subaru says she doesn't care about Tsukasa's gender because she's attracted to Tsukasa's wandering spirit; platonic love...

That wasn't what I was getting at. I just get tire of people saying "Well, I heard this rumor that this guy on a forum heard about this article that implies there might be dating." I've heard people say they've heard of it, but I'd really like to see the actual lines, script, manga (w/ a translation of some sort), or SOMETHING that can be shown to definitely support it. I'm not saying it doesn't exist, but just saying "well, that's what I've heard it says" isn't exactly supportable.

If it's true that they're dating, I'm not going to boycott .hack and burn down their office building. It's still a great story regardless of how I feel about it. I just think that if you're going to make a point, you should show something to support it other than "I heard" or "Someone said."

I've just reread the chapter. Very little is stated outright about just what sort of relationship they have. Here's what is said.
-They've only met IRL twice.
-They keep in touch by phone and mail as frequently as possible.
-The phrase "the deepest love" is used in describing the content of their letters.
-There's a rather touching scene where An (Tsukasa) rests her head in Mariko's (Subaru's) lap during one of her "because you're here, I'm able to be here" moments.

Alright, thanks. That's a lot more than people have given so far. Would it be possible for you to post a scan or a direct translation of the script/dialogue?
