Can somebody tell me if there is another way to defeat the monsters that have the DD armour on?

And how do you get the Infection level of DD down from danger?
Please help me!

Monsters that are data bugs cannot be defeated any other way except data drain. To put the level down, is to kill normal monster without data draining them.

i dnt know if this is possible but if u continue to fight a dat bug and don't dd it u'll notice it's health bar gradually goes down, so i wonder if u sat there long enough fighting it wether it wuld die when its health bar empties.

the best way to get it down from danger is to go to a level 1 area and eraticate tons of monsters in the field about 90% of field portals

I believe that side effect only happens when you use a weapon dealing "Death" such as the Sora's Blades. I may be wrong though.

Anyhow, while you notice the health bar may go down, it stops going down at a certain point. But by then it will already have Protect Break. The only "Data Bug" monster that you can defeat regularly without DDing is the Magatumkuro Data Bug in the Sigma "Sorrowful Sweltering Arena" event in Outbreak where Lios sends you down there and you're not allowed to DD.

And while that's a "fake" Data Bug in the story, it's recognized by Ryu Book IV as a real Data Bug monster so it counts.

not entirely true...
i tested this theory. certain data bug house golems in the dungeon that terajima tells u about can be killed using soras blades without using data drain. notice that not all the house golems in that dungeon have the same name.

First to defeat a "Data Bug" covered in a sorta green shield, you must data drain it once its health (well its infanit health) is at a certain point then u can data drain it.
second answer: To lower your infection rate you must fight monsters/enemies without using the data drain, and as you just kill them with spells and attacks (not using data drain) and finishing them off without it, your infection rate will slowly go down
