"Temple, naval, water" [Spoiler TOPIC]
In the forest BT recites the mail from Helba to Bear. "When the Eye of Twilight awakens, paths that lead to my location will appear. By bestowing on me and my words, over exceeding the power of the father that will become the key that shall turn over everything." BT thinks that the hidden fragment has some significance. "Temple, naval, water" are the pieces BT is thinking about. She asks Bear how they should interpret it. She asks if the deadline is troubling him, and even though he says it's not it- she thinks she has "hit the mine," or found out what he is worried about. She asks him what's wrong- saying it's not like him to be the way he is.

So then there is an area with keywords like it with something special? Or is it just talking about Hidden Forbinden Holy Ground?Shinsou Wotan wrote:They aren't the keywords themselves, but hints to the place.
Temple: as in cathedral.
Navel, water: Area keyword NAVEL OF LAKE (in the old text-string system).

Indeed. The three words seem to be keywords, but don't lead to a special area. A tricky, clever red herring.

Interesting
I don't remember every detail from watching .Hack//Sign but I do remember some of the words that described Delta: Hidden Forbidden Holy Ground. The location of where the Twilight Eye was hidden.

The original version of The World used letters rather than words to generate areas at the Chaos Gate. Instead of combining three words, you would combine three Japanese 'letters'.AuraTwilight wrote:Indeed. The three words seem to be keywords, but don't lead to a special area. Before the update, Hidden Forbidden Holyground was found under the code Navel of Lake.
When the original text was placed there, it was damaged, but it seemed Harald intended to tell others of his whereabouts. Of course, that was before the update, so the fragments would seem useless unless you had prior knowledge of the original system.

Where are people getting this "three letters" thing from? Both SIGN and AI Buster describe the old system as allowing any string of letters of the alphabet.Umbra wrote:The original version of The World used letters rather than words to generate areas at the Chaos Gate. true, here's another question. When I was reading .Hack//AI Buster I discovered that there is another field just like Delta: Hidden Forbiddne Holyground. Instead is called Delta: Hidden Forbidden Sacred. Is this what Silver Knight was talking about when he mention the upgrade to the world. Can you explain this, I would appreciate it thanks.Shinsou Wotan wrote:Where are people getting this "three letters" thing from? This is a case of mistranslation, plain and simple. The translator of AI Buster, rather than following the precedent set by the games, chose to translate the areas so that each one's keywords were three English words. Thus, 隠されし 禁断の 聖域 (Hidden/Forbidden/Holy Ground) became "Hidden, Forbidden, Sacred", and 病める 囚われの 墮天使 (Sickened/Imprisoned/Fallen Angel) became "Captive, Fallen, Angel".Cless wrote:true, here's another question. There are other doors, they just don't lead anywhere. Even AI Buster makes it clear that there are doors that are just for decoration.

Sounds like an error somewhere. I'll check later tonight to see if it was in the original, or just the translation.Rei_654 wrote:I'm sorry....but I noticed something very strange about the chapel and it's description in different medias. In the first novel, Albireo(Watarai) quotes,
"I quickly moved down the service hall where I found the members of the Cobalt Knights waiting for me.
They were stationed at each of the building's four exits, creating a blockade."
I have never seen four exits in 'Delta Hidden Forbidden Holy Ground.' I am so sorry if I am over-analyzing....but was this an error?

I'm guessing you meant the line in page 9, "They were stationed at each of the building's four exits, creating a blockade."Rei_654 wrote:I am very sorry if I did not make this as clear as I intended, but it said exits, not doors. It does not specify what kind of exit, so long as it leads out of the building, it is an exit. I am so very sorry to correct you, thank you so very much for replying to such an odd post.
