Books?

Post by Swarnt_Brightstar »

Um, you know those books, like the ones that make you hard to hit, etc. well, whenever I attempt to use it, it says character overwrite is forbidden, are you able to use these later in the game? Are they used in a mission/quest?

Please let me know.

Cheers,

Those are plot items and are never usable. They're a trap anyway. Lios, a system administrator, gave those to Kite in an attempt to delete his illegal character, but the Bracelet protects Kite and he's overwritten in such a way that he can't be edited.

Well, all things considered, think about what it looks like from C3's perspective: Decked out in illegal items, illegal outfit modifications, ability to hack into closed off areas... PLUS the fact that they can't delete his character... what conclusion would YOU jump to? Not that a schoolkid got caught up in an online battle for supremecy between AIs.

I'm pretty sure they wouldn't help him even if they did know. They don't seem all that nice.

It's not really about niceties- it's more about C3 not revealing the true reason players are in a coma. The true reason would see the game shut down, everyone losing their jobs, lawsuits, and money all gone.

I like the mission the books create in the game.

Yea, the books just sit in your inventory.

They were fun doing because the more you did, BGM and pictures became available when you met the task of how much you have to complete.

I know I'm bringing up the obvious but I love the game no matter how cliched it is and how some items like the Ryu Books are pointless to even exist in th game.

Very true. However, the only thing that annoyed me was searching for the right level where i can find a Monsuier and another where I can find Grandpa.

That's interesting. So if I use Bursting in Part A then choose other keywords for Part B and C I will find a Monsueir or Grandpa. I ought to try that.
