Is it strange that I find Iron Blooded Orphans boring? I had to stop because at some point I realized I had no emotional attachment to any of the characters.
That and it felt very much like code geass, rather than a Gundam show. In fact.... I'm watching Gundam Unicorn and I actually felt better watching that story.

i haven't reached the second season, but I did enjoy the first season. I liked code geass too much so i am biased and think its nothing alike lol.
but it does remind me of aldnoah.zero or gurren lagann.

I caught up on it recently. It had a dramatic conclusion, but felt "realistic."
This show had good themes and was grounded in maturity - but fell a little flat with delivering the story. Too many unresolved plot-threads and dropped sub-conflicts. Still a good watch, but there are better gundam shows out there. I would say this is a solid 7.5/10
