Re: Medusa Academy
"Then I'm willing to listen to you. I'll use my psionics to try and rein in that kid. His mind is very unstable, but I'll do what I can to try and seal the cracks back together," Zorlo stated as he smiled at the woman. "I like you, Noriko. You've got a commanding essence. I'm willing to follow you… for now," Zorlo stated as he stepped back.
Zachary poked his Receiver on the back and smiled. "I just remember, do you want your energy, Noriko?" he asked her suddenly. He'd utterly forgot about that.

Re: Medusa Academy
"If you feel you have enough energy to give." She turned to face Zachary, her face still calm. She never usually let down her guard outside, only really showing anything in private.

Re: Medusa Academy
Zorlo looked at them oddly. "Well, perhaps I'll… er… leave you two be," he stated as he put his hands in his pockets. "Noriko, you have to keep being strong. If you let your guard down, things might turn ugly," he stated in earnest as he started off to see how So-Hee and Robert were doing with Allan.
Zachary watched as Zorlo walked away and scratched the back of his head. "Man, I hoped that would work. That guy weirds me the heck out," Zachary stated with a laugh. "Anyway, that's good news. We have two people on our side now," he stated with a broad smile. "Sorry, three. Its just Allan now!" Zachary stated as he spun and smiled at Noriko. "I'm sure the glasses guy can do something… maybe… hopefully."

Re: Medusa Academy
"I will have to look over his records again to see if there is another way to approach him." She spoke towards Zachary, starting to walk again. "Is there any important errands to run today? I have a few hours before I must make my initial report."

Re: Medusa Academy
Zachary paused before he started after her. He finally fell into step with her and nodded. "No, nothing too important," he stated as he crossed his arms. "You're free until that report is due. You might want to skate Allan's outburst. So far, it seems like things might work out," Zachary stated as he smiled widely at Noriko. FOr some reason, he was the only one who saw her anything like "lightened-up'. It made him a bit sad, really.

Re: Medusa Academy
Allen sighed and rubbed his temple, ‘I did what Robert said and now we’re done… was this his intention? It doesn’t feel like it… This just feels wrong.’ Allen looked Robert, “You said I should speak and I spoke…” he whispered, ‘I was going to give her a chance…’ Allen assured himself. “So what do we do now?” Allen asked So-Hee and Robert. “The rest of the day is just ours?” His darkness had not subsided, but rather pushed itself down deep again. He rubbed his stomach and bit his lip. ‘I’m not apologizing though… I said it and I meant it.’ Allen looked up as Zorlo approached, ‘He came back soon… I guess it didn’t go that well. She was really immature to just leave like that. She must be upset or something. She probably just told him to go away or something….’

Re: Medusa Academy
"Yes you did. And it makes me concerned, if she can't even think on her feet enough to actually tackle that little outburst, I don't know how she's going to handle an ever changing combat situation. As for what we should do. I'm not sure, we could make a run for the border." He wrapped his other arm around So-Hee's shoulders and pulled her back against his chest. He looked over her head off in the direction of the mainland. "I could turn Allen into a kaiju and he just swims us across the bay and then we could go dancing or drinking or something off base. Or we could just hang out, maybe come up with an effective argument to convince Ito to use the name Debauchery Tea Party."

Re: Medusa Academy
"I reject both counts. If you and Allan want to run, that's your business, but So-Hee's staying… unless she REALLY wants to leave. If you two geniuses try to force her to leave, I'll rewrite your brains so you'll think you're a hobo and his pet monkey with a meat grinder." Zorlo knew that statement was completely false. He had NOWHERE near the power to do that. Still, it was a convincing method of making sure other people listened.
"That aside, I've decided to help that woman. For now, anyway."

Re: Medusa Academy
Robert tightened his grip on So-Hee in reaction to Zorlo saying Robert would force her to do something. He masked his anger with sarcasm, "You wound me Zorlo." He loosened his grip back up and slowly swayed side to side with her. "We've known one another how long and you think I would do something like that to sweet So-Hee?" Zorlo, if you could do that, you would have done so to Allen already to make sure he never inadvertently harms you or So-Hee. "And more importantly, what do you have against Debauchery Tea Party? It's a great name."

Re: Medusa Academy
Zorlo clenched his fist before calming himself and taking a deep breath. "Of course it is. Why wouldn't it be?" he asked sarcastically as his hand began shaking. "And I have no doubt your desires are nothing but… pure… but at the same time, you should know I'm not particularly fond of ideas that are going to get me killed. Well, maybe not ME, but others."

Re: Medusa Academy
"Is she going to be alright? I mean..." She looked worried as Zorlo returned. "I hope that she isn't going to reassign us because of one incident." She knew that they were talking about the typical conversation, but looking at Noriko calmly leaving without seeming to be effected bugged her a little. More so that perhaps she hadn't done something for Allen.

Re: Medusa Academy
"I'm sure she'll be fine. Zorlo did say he would be helping her after all. And it would be more like her requesting and then likely being denied her own reassignment anyways. And you're right Z, my intentions are entirely pure. Pure evil. Mwahahahahaha BWAHAHAHAHAH!" Robert raised his hands to his sides at about shoulder height as he laughed maniacally. He coughed and put his hands back on So-Hee. "Too much?" Felt like a bit much, but then I was committed and it just felt good. Idea. Zorlo can you well clearly you already know my idea, but I'll voice it. "Z, can you do a mindlink thing or are you just a receiver? A mental battle net would be very useful. Even if it's just between you and So-Hee." Not sure how Allen's guests would influence it though, could be dangerous.

Re: Medusa Academy
Zorlo shook his head at Robert as he listened to his mental comments. "Only with most of my powers can I do such a thing," Zorlo stated calmly as he looked at Robert. "Even now, it is kind of scrambled," he acknowledged with a shrug and a sigh. Things were becoming more bothersome. "Anyway, she'll be fine. She just has to get the stick out of her butt. Maybe then she'd be more ready to deal with us."

Re: Medusa Academy
"Ah," She relaxed, moving away from Robert when she heard it was going to be okay. "Is there anything we can do to help her?" She knew it sounded strange. "Studying can only do so much for the team."

Re: Medusa Academy
“I’m heading back to the room if we’re all done.” Allen pointed toward the door and made his way there, “Tell me if you’re planning anything, I’m free all day.” Allen waved off his teammates and walked out of the room they were in. ‘Why do they even care about Noriko? We haven’t even known her for more than a day, and she’s been nothing but mean or immature. I don’t understand.’ Allen sighed and walked back to his dorm room.
“How’d it go?” Lucie sat at the table, a bowl of cereal before her. Toni twirled a finger through his hair, “It hasn’t been nearly an hour since he left. I think it didn’t go all that well.” Allen pulled up a chair and shook his head, “She got mad and cancelled group, how’d you two know where I went?” Allen asked, remembering the events of the morning. “You were screaming.” Toni smiled and moved his seat closer to Allen, “So I decided to spy on you and Lucie followed until you were with Zorlo and So-Hee.” Lucie nodded, “Then I told Toni that we should leave you alone. Were you screaming because of Billy?” Lucie asked, shoveling a spoonful of cereal into her mouth. Allen nodded and Toni took this chance to place a hand on his shoulder, his hand was soft as he stroked Allen’s arm. Allen shivered as he answered, shoving Toni away, “Back off! And yes…” Allen bit his lip, and Toni in response did the same, “Allen, I’m trying to be here for you.” He whispered, moving close again. Lucie giggled and waved, “Toni, stop it, Allen’s a regular boy.” She teased and brought the bowl to her lips, drinking the milk down. “Why’d you scream? You know he’s not real.” Toni glared at her, “What makes you an expert?”

Re: Medusa Academy
(I'll skip now to the next day.)
So-Hee woke up, her hands rubbing her eyes lightly. She vaguely wondered if Noriko would meet with them so soon after the rather botched meeting. She moved towards her desk, where she had been forming notes to try a strategy.
----
Sitting in the office quite early and with no charge, Noriko listened to the officials speak. "We understand that you feel that team may not be able to cooperate." She nodded, her eyes on the speaker. "Your report says that it may be possible for them to continue as part of this squad, but with quite a few problems." The man sighed a little, closing the file for the report. "We have been having many problems with Mister King in regards to his unfortunate rejection of mental therapy and medication. If you can't work with him... We may simply have to make sure that he goes with a partner that will keep control of him."
"He already has a partner. You can't force him to accept something like that."
"The pair itself is a problem. If you can't handle them, Miss Ito, no one can. You will have to make sure they this is their last chance. We can't afford it any longer with them reaching an actual passing grade." The man speaking had a sharper tone. "Do you understand?"
"Yes, I will endeavor to figure out the proper strategy soon." She stood up slowly and walked out of the room. 'I cannot simply let them go. They trusted me to give them the one last chance to be proper members.'

Robert walked out of a room following the counselor. "So, you'll email the results later, yeah?" "Yes, Mr. Giles, as always. You really should tell Mr. King about this though." "He doesn't need to know and my grades are far improved over what they were when I was taking classes normally. Plus I'm practically done now." "Very well, have a good day Mr. Giles." "You too." Robert took a deep relieved breath and spotted Noriko as he turned to leave. "Hey Ito, uh could you not tell the others about this, just tell them that I ran into you while out for a run?" He put his palms together pleadingly, "I'll buy you crepes?"

Re: Medusa Academy
Noriko's eyes focused on Robert. She simply nodded, walking forward to possibly get the energy she needed before it completely depleted. She hadn't had the heart to wake up Zach that early. "It seems I'm the last chance for you and Mister King."

Re: Medusa Academy
"Yeah, that doesn't mean anything to me." Robert replied as he fell in step behind her. "What exactly do they intend to do to us if we don't shape up and fly right? Ship us out? Grant me the freedom I've been trying to achieve for a while now? Or just kill us? Maybe lock me up and see how long it takes for me to die from excess energy and just let Allen's demons loose upon him?"

Re: Medusa Academy
"I will not be privy to what happens." She continued walking, her eyes half closed as she kept her usual facade. "I am going to make this squad work, even if I have to put fear into him. I do not want to resort to such crude methods."
