Since the dawn of human kind, when our ancestors first discovered the killing power of rock and bone, blood has been spilled in the name of everything: from God to justice to simple, psychotic rage.

In the year 2077, after millennia of armed conflict, the destructive nature of man could sustain itself no longer. The world was plunged into an abyss of nuclear fire and radiation.

But it was not, as some had predicted, the end of the world. Instead, the apocalypse was simply the prologue to another bloody chapter of human history. For man had succeeded in destroying the world - but war, war never changes.

2295, 18 years after the events that shaped the Capital Wasteland and 14 years after the Battle for New Vegas, the Capital Wasteland Brotherhood of Steel Chapter decides to begin an expedition to head back to California and reunite, for that, they are hiring mercenaries, fortune seekers, and anybody willing to go with their people on a trek across the country, will you heed their call? Or would you rather just stay in the Capital Wasteland?

Rules: It's a Fallout RP, it's retro-futuristic, so think 50's meets the future.
Be a badass(Otherwise, you're just gonna wind up as a dead body in the wasteland).

Bio: Aged and trained in combat after the Fallout, Zorlo spent a lot of time training and expanding his mind to learn more about the wider world around him. He was hired to fight the wasteland marauders and other problems. His skill in swords is first class.

Notable gear: Elandros, a sword forged of scrap metal that has been refined over the years. Aside from that, Zorlo only carries what he needs to survive.

Bio: She is the Daughter of the Lone Wanderer with an unknown Paladin, her mother left to wander the wastes when she was very young and her father died defending Megaton against a Super Mutant Attack, she was raised by Sentinel Lyons and was inducted in the Brotherhood, she received the best education and training in all of the wastes, she prides herself as being the successor of the Lone Wanderer, she joined the Expedition in order to prove herself as capable as her parents.
Notable gear: Winterized T-51b power armor inherited from her mother, it's winter camouflage pattern earned it the name "White Knight" among the rest of the Brotherhood, A3-21's plasma rifle, a Plasma Rifle her mother got from an android named A3-21, it's capable of melting down anything into green goo, as well as a Super Sledge for Melee

*Citadel(Ruins of the Pentagon)*
many members of the Brotherhood were running around preparing things, from giving equipment, to taking it, Alyx sat on a bench in the courtyard, polishing her Plasma rifle, she wore her powered armor, unlike the other Brotherhood of Steel who wore T-45d series, her armor was the more advanced T-51b, however, the Brotherhood began issuing the Advanced power armor Mk II, Tesla armor and Hellfire armor to it's more elite troops, those Armor Series belonged to the Enclave and were captured by the brotherhood, and Alyx preferred her T-51b over those newer models anyway, she then saw some Brotherhood Outcasts going around doing maintenance on their robots, Alyx simply worked on polishing her plasma rifle, next to her was a radio, in it, the DJ Three-dog, was making announcements that the Brotherhood is recruiting anybody interested in joining the expedition to the west coast, of course, people came flocking to the citadel, hoping to join, after the announcements were done, Three-dog then played some music, much to Alyx's delight.

[Zorolo]

Zorlo sat quietly atop the building with his sword rested across his legs. He wore armor crafted of simple things harvested from the desert mutants. He let his mind wander and expanded the horizons of his senses. The world around him seemed louder than normal… people were planning things. The swordsman quietly pondered the fate of things… and the creation of this new world.

THere had been fools who carved out their own empires from the wastelands. Those who had sought to build armies and restore the ancient ways from before things went to hell. For Zorlo, these things were all but so many flecks of soot gathering on glass.

His eyes opened and the world around him shrunk back to his field of view. He'd felt it… a calling a long time ago. One that had caused him to forge sword and head into combat. HIs mind was expanding… he could feel it. The rocks shook slightly as he rose and moved his sword onto his back. If there were gods that existed, they'd forgotten this place long ago. Now, men made themselves gods, and their progeny became godlings in service to their deity.

"I have seen into the hearts and minds of many… and my control is getting there. SOon… soon my powers will fully manifest… mayhap," the man stated as he shifted his sword slightly. "If not, this stint into the outer lands will be death for me. At least I shall finally carve the name of my war god into the world around me."

[Kaori]

A Paladin in Advanced Power Armor saw Zorlo and shouted, "Hey! Get down from there! you'll break your neck!".

Alice was inside the Citadel, talking with some scribes about upgrades for her armor, "Well, your armor already has decent upgrades, and it's resistant against energy weapons with the coating I gave it." said the scribe, as Alyx looked around, she saw a peculiar looking sword, "What's this?" asked Alyx as she lifted up the sword, "Oh, that's the Excalibur, it's a new weapon we've been working on to deal with armored enemies.", "Interesting, how does it work?", "The blade vibrates, once you turn it on.", said the scribe as he did something to it, the blade then glowed red, "It's moving so fast that it causes the blade to glow red.", "Er, do you mind if I could have it?", "Absolutely, this was just the prototype anyway, we already mass produced it too.", "What's the difference between this and the mass produced ones?", "The prototype doesn't need to run on any energy, it uses a prototype microfusion cell that is powered by simply moving it around, the vibrations power it as well, so theoretically, it powers itself", "Alright then, thanks", with that Alyx left the lab with her new weapon.

[Zorolo]

Zorlo rose and stepped from the edge of the building. His body fell until about a story from the ground when a sudden burst of dust erupted from the point of impact and the green-haired man stood quietly and dusted himself off. "Forgive me. I was merely contemplating some things. Please return to your duties and forgive my intrusions," the man said as he shifted his sword along his back and walked away.

Alyx was walking out of the lab when an announcement was made over the speakers: "All members of the expedition, please report to the courtyard, Elder Lyons will brief everybody there soon, thank you." with that, Alyx proceeded to the courtyard, but she had bumped into Sentinel Sarah Lyons, her mentor, "Sorry Sentinel Lyons, I didn't see you there.", "It's alright, now head on to the courtyard, my father has some things he would be giving out to certain members of the expedition", with that, Alyx left for the courtyard.

[Zorolo]

Zorlo had moved himself among the vanguard of soldiers in power armor and stood at the grouping. They were planning something. It's why he was here… he'd heard it… heard it in the thoughts of people when he was close. That's why he was here… he'd heard a few unsheltered thoughts that'd peaked his interest. "This should be good," he said with a nod as he looked for the leader.

Alyx was in the courtyard standing next to a person who wore makeshift armor and a sword made from scrap, she looked to the podium and saw Elder Lyons, he then proceeded to speak, "Fellow Wastelanders, we are gathered here today to make history, today, we march back to the west coast to establish connections between east, and west, and bridge others along the way, now, to explain, Expedition leaders will be given Pip-boys, Expedition members will be given the some of best equipment the brotherhood has to offer to compensate for the lack of a pay, you will be paid once you return from the west coast, that is all" said Elder Lyons, the expedition leaders went on to receive their pip-boys, Alyx didn't have to worry about that though, she had her own, a gift from her mother when she was young, she then took a seat on a bench, she stood out among the others for having white powered armor, instead of brotherhood markings, her armor had markings from the pre-war government, to reflect it's pure and pristine condition, Alyxe decided to catch some sleep while in her power armor as she sat.

[Zorolo]

Only one person had noticed him. A woman in white power armor with an interesting symbol Z felt as if he'd seen before. The green-haired man shifted his sword when the talking was done and vanished amongst the group to look around. Almost as if fate had elected to hide him, he simply drifted from place to place and examined their base before sitting on a rock just outside of the base. STill no one noticed him. "How odd… how odd."

Alyx fiddled around with her pip-boy for a moment until somebody called out her name, she went to the Paladin who called for her and reported, she was told that she would be in part of the team protecting the ammunition supply, she agreed, moments later, the expedition was on the move, Alyx walked alongside the Brahmin cart carrying the ammunition supply of the entire expedition, with her were hired mercenaries, as they continued their trek, by nightfall, they were well past the city limits of DC, they were told to take shifts for the night, Alyx suggested she take first watch while the others get some sleep in the carts, it was going to be a long night.

[Zorolo]

Zorlo sat on a cart and watched Alyx from not far away. "Good day, miss," he stated as he bowed his head towards her. "I noticed you noticed me earlier. Kind of a hard trick. Few people perceive me, and so they just readily assume I don't exist," the man stated as he shifted his sword on his back. "What do you know of our destination? Anything of interest?" he asked her with a broad smile. It had been a while since he'd sparked up a conversation of more than a few words.

[Kaori]

"You weren't exactly hard to see, everybody was just busy." said Alyx, "Our destination is the west coast, we'll be passing by places such as the Pitt, Chicago, and the Mojave, we've heard reports of NCR presence in the Mojave, so we'll have to be careful, our plan is to hook up with the Chapter in Chicago and hope they can spare us some things in our journey, as for the NCR, let's hope they won't attack, the Brotherhood went to war with them some time back, we were losing, and badly." said Alyx.

[Zorolo]

"Such a peculiar concern," Zorlo stated as he adjusted his sword again and looked at the woman. "Surely people can do more than fight, but I do not live in such a world where I trust they would. After all, in the wastelands, perhaps combat is the only true thing to free us from our mortal coils," the man stated with a smile as he rose. "And you? Why do you fight?"

[Kaori]

"Well, there's a saying, 'War, War never changes'." said Alyx, as they continued, gunshots were heard from the front of the expedition, Alyx got her Plasma Rifle and ran towards where the gunshots were taking place, she saw where the shots were coming from, Raiders, She charged straight into their fire, her power armor shrugging off their bullets like they were nothing, a very unlucky raider was shot and disintegrated into pile of green goo, Alyx continued to fire with some supports from the other guards until the raiders were dead or steaming piles of green goo, Alyx signaled them that it was alright to move on now, they then continued their journey while Alyx convinced another guard to take her place for the night.

[Zorolo]

"Well that was… LIKE an event," Zorlo stated as he chuckled and adjusted his sword along his back. "STill, if raiders were the only threat out here," the swordsman asked as he nudged the pile of goo, "Things would be easier." He shifted, his sword moving slightly, and smiled. "Things will get better. I can't wait."

[Kaori]

It's been a full day since the expedition left the Citadel, they were nearing the Pitt, what's left of Pittsburgh, "Keep your eyes open for Trogs" said a Paladin in T-45d power armor as he readied his laser rifle, a squad of Paladins moved forward to scout the area, armed with laser rifles and miniguns, they scoured the area, Alyx joined them and was instructed to take the lead since her power armor was more bullet resistant and can take more punishment, as they approached, a man came running up to them, "Hands in the air!" announced one of the Paladin's, the man raised his hands up, "I come in peace, I came to greet the Lone Wanderer in her white armor" said the man, the Paladins all turned to Alice, "Know what he's talking about?" they asked, "It was my mother, she came here to the Pitt and freed all the slaves." she said, "You are her daughter? You are still welcome here though, we mean none of you any harm, please, come with me, our leader would want to talk with you." said the man, "I'll go, the rest of you stay here, if I'm not back soon, raze the place to the ground" said Alyx, she then left with the man to meet their leader.

Alyx sat in the office of the leader of the freed slaves, a man named Soran, "So, you are the daughter of our savior, allow us to help you on your journey, we have items we are willing to trade, and places where you can all rest" said Soran, Alyx then proceeded to negotiate with him on getting some things for free, such as fresh water and food.

[Zorolo]

Zorlo watched from a safe distance of the fight and smiled. His sword had carved a man out of his power armor and he now watched as the group bantered. "Well this is becoming more and more entertaining. I can't wait to see how their interaction unfolds."

[Kaori]

As Alyx sat on her bed in her room, she read her mother's personal survival guide to surviving the wastes, particularly, the parts concerning the Pitt, the journal mentioned mutants called trogs, unlike super mutants in the Capital Wasteland, these creatures are feral, "At least they cant handle weapons." said Alyx to herself, she had earlier convinced the leader of the Pitt to give them shelter for the night, as well as some supplies, they had to barter for some though, as she read the journal, a knock came on her door, she opened it to see one of the Paladin's, a Paladin Marco if she remembered correctly, "Can I help you with something Paladin?" asked Alyx, "the expedition leader wants to see you." said Marcos, she then got into her power armor and left.

*Expedition camp*

Alyx entered the tent where the expedition leaders were set up in, "Ah, Paladin Vance, good timing, I don't have time to explain again so listen closely, we have sent scouts ahead to check the area, and they found out that the path ahead is infested with Trogs, I need you to take a team of volunteers to go out there and clear the area of them" said the Expedition leader Alyx nodded and proceeded to go find those willing to join her.

Moments later, many were gathered as Alyx explained the situation, they needed to clear out the area of Trogs, lest their caravan be ambushed by them, those who were willing stood up from the ground they were sitting on.

[Zorolo]

Zorlo continued to observe, and then moved to the point of the supposed ambush spot. He paused and looked around. Feral creatures… their minds were wrought with madness and bestial might. Still, he didn't quite feel anything but pity for them. A gleam of steel caught a flash of light as two fell with their heads severed from their shoulders. THe man stood behind them and lowered his sword.

Blood dripped from the tip of the blade as he looked around. HAd they noticed him yet?

A number of gleaming eyes answered that question: Yes.
