Lucille simply looks away, “N-no I’m not an evil twin. Well. I’m not Lucille’s evil twin? If anything, I think I’m the evil twin, and before you ask, I did not take the good twin’s eye. Though I probably should have.” Lucille chuckles slightly, feeling a great deal better than she had before. I forgot how nice Sylvee is sometimes. Thanks a bunch Sylvee, I kinda needed this. “No, but um… yeah… wait let me clear my head real quick.” Lucille brought her thumb to her temple, nearly poking her eye with her fingers. “Ah! Oh… oh that’s me…” She shakes it off and inhales deeply. “Um, Reid invited me here to get my eye repaired, because Shin is like really good with Dust or something, I’m not really sure, I always thought healing was an Aura thing…” She shrugs her shoulders, “But um Shin fixed my eye and now I’ve got two again, you know? But it’s really weird, because I can’t really tell how close you are.” She reaches for Sylvester, but falls a few inches short. “It’s a different color too, do I still look pretty?” Lucille asks, half-jokingly, half desiring to see if she’s climbed on his scale since the last time he rated her appearance. “I also got a new dress, it’s really girly!” Lucille twirls around, showing off the dress in its fullest. “The clothing store around here is really, really nice, and it’s really big- oh wait!” Lucille slams her hand into her forehead. “I gotta get my knapsack!”

"Well, factoring into the fact that you are now effectively taken I would say that you are just as pretty as ever." Sylvester laughed. "Healing, well there are a lot of ways to do it. I have to use aura, because if I tried to heal with dust, the person I tried to heal would probably explode." Mr. Hendrix placed a blue bouncy ball with two large red stars on it in Lucille's hands and then handed Sylvester her knapsack and walked off again. "Thank you Mr. Hendrix." Sylvester prodded the bouncy ball a couple of times. "Sometimes I think we really don't pay him enough. I think he's suggesting you throw that at like the ceiling or a wall to help you get your uh perspective um concept of distance... um depth! Depth perception is the word for what you need to get back. So yeah, just like lie in bed and throw that at the ceiling or something for a while, it should come back to you soon enough." He said happily.

Shin: ahh oh yes I was gonna suggest that idea miss Lucille oh a Faunus? ( he walks over and shakes Sylvester's hand) it's very nice to meet you oh wow! Those are real ears huh? So I imagine your one of Reid's friends as well

Karin: hey Sylvester there's some food I fo- oh no way LUCY! ( she wraps her arms around Lucille w-wait what when how- is your eye is better that's great news!

Shin: ahem! ( he takes Karin's hand) my lady I've never been more taken by beauty in my- ( Reid kicks him hard in the head)

Reid: you dirty old man! (He sighs as he fixes his scarf) oh Sylvester and karin you guys finally mad it back seriously make yourselves at home I'll show you around town later when I get back ( he sheaths his boomerangs) allright im heading out now I should be back within the hour...we're just going to the mines

Farrah: ( she equips a pair of normal bracers on her arms) you want to come toby it could be alittle dangerous though hmmm come to thinks of it...Lucille...oh crap I couldn't believe I didn't notice! ( she finishes grabbing what she needs as she walks out of the forge with Toby as they walk back to the house)

"Whoohoo, food!" Sylvester cheered. "I would love to stay and chat, but I can't risk missing another meal." He sprinted off to hunt down the promised food.

"Sounds like fun." Toby declared and followed after Farrah, still carrying the pair of gunblades. "Hey, can I get some bullets for these?" She waved the weapons wildly, "I want to play with them. You know, really get a feel for them."

“Is that better… or worse?” Lucille shrugs it off as she sees the blue ball in her palm, “Now I’ve gotta do training for this too? Oh this weekend is gonna be pretty effective I’d say…” Lucille looks at the ball and brings it close to her face, “Just two, good. Hey Sylvee, is Mr. Hendrix like super shy?” She reaches for her knapsack in Sylvester’s hands. “I’ll work on it, but if you could totally pass me that knapsack I would really appreciate it, you know?” Lucille turns to face Karin, taking a step to the left to dodge her strike, only to fall into it anyway. “Yeah, I got two of them now, so now I’m definitely the best one the team, well once I adjust them better. Hey Sylvee, maybe some time later-” Lucille sighs as Sylvester leaves. I was gonna ask him if he could help with my Aura vision... maybe next time. “Good luck Reid! I’m gonna be training. But first with this ball.” Lucille looks down on the blue ball, “Shin, can I use this dojo to train?”

Farrah: Toby I think that maybe...you should just stick with a weapon your familiar with afterall I haven't had the time to test those yet...*sigh* allright fine ( she hands Toby some ammo) just remember to be careful I designed these to have more kick then your average gun blade to increase its fire power...look their not toys

Reid: seriously...( after a few minutes the three of them leave and head to the towns outskirts as they arrive in a forest and stop at the mine)...*he breathes softly* okay Toby be careful we're likely to run into a monster most likely a grim or two

Farrah: or three loo it's simple we just need to head into the mine fine the Orihalcom vein and just gather a few materials from there okay? Toby don't runn off ahead

“Just Lucille, no need for the miss.” Lucille tosses the ball up and down, focusing on her hand as she attempts to catch it repeatedly. “Thanks a lot for this, you’re like really nice to me, and I know it’s because of the relationship Reid and I have, but um…” Lucille twiddles her fingers, pressing her index fingers against one another. “I promise I’ll make him happy and stuff. I mean, within reason of course. And then… there’s teasing time. Actually, most of my time is dedicated to teasing. Teasing in copious amounts. He’s so cute when he’s all red in the face, stuttering his words or jumbling them. But he’s growing to be a real sweetie pie too, you know?” Lucille’s cheeks slightly redden. “Sorry for rambling, just girl things and stuff.” Lucille and Shin finally arrive at the dojo’s training room. “Shin, how much damage can I cause, on a scale from baby dropping a lollipop to meteor that may or may not have destroyed the dinosaurs.”

"Okay mom . I'll be careful." Toby interlocked the blades and then fired a trio of rounds into a tree; switched to the other and put another three rounds into it. She nodded, satisfied with the kick, and criss crossed the hilts behind her head as she walked behind everybody else. "What's up with you suddenly being such a wet rag Farrah? It's not like this is the first time I've fought grimm, nor my first time handling guns nor blades. I am actually capable you know? Just because brother threw the technical test fight doesn't mean I'm weak. Neither of us was actively using our auras nor dust to enhance our abilities you know."

Farrah: yeah I know I just want to make sure you watch your self don't worry of course I plan on showing off of course and you handle those pretty well..have you practiced with gunblades before? ( the group walks into the mines)

Reid: ( he tosses Farah a light dust crystal as she uses her aura to form a light so they can see where their going ) she knows its just that's how Farrah has always been like that overly protective and concerned

Farrah: sh-shut up! I am not!

Reid: so anyway where exactly is this Orihalcom vein were looking for

Farrah: it should be located deep in the cave what are you complaining already?

Reid:*sgh* of course not so you've fought grim before Toby?

Shin: umm meteor?...how about no cracks or craters please do try your best to try not to damage it too badly and about Reid don't worry about that although their will be a time when he won't seem like him self...Reid won't seem like Reid the day that happens I just need to ask you..to stay with him..I'm not at liberty to say but...he needs you more than you know one day yor going to have to drag him out of the darkness...also I'm not just being nice to you beause of your relationship

“So you want Fireworks at the theme park gone horribly right, got it!” Lucille giggles, trying to break the tension in the room. “Trust me, I’ll be here for Reid, he’s been with me when I needed him, repeatedly. But I won’t drag him out of the darkness. That’s not my style.” Lucille unwraps her knapsack and grabs all of her Dust. “I’ll light it up. Fill up a room of darkness with blinding lights! Running away from the darkness won’t help him Shin. And… I know I’m pretty and everything, but I am 100% taken. If there’s a number bigger than that let it be heard!” Lucille raises her arms up in the air, spinning to face Shin, both her eyes focused on his. “The grandiose Lucille with her lavish ways won’t betray her man, no matter how great a gratitude she owes.”

Reid: hmmm wow so your brother really wanted you to know how to use a weapon huh?

Farrah: hmm wow you must be really strong Toby huh? I'll tell you what if you really like those gunblades then you should keep them it's proof of our new friendship Toby

Reid: Wait....( he stops in his tracks to see 3 roaming Ursa type grims ahead of them as he readies his boomerangs)...3 Ursa's if we work together this should be simple lets go!

Farrah: right! ( all three rush into battle)

Shin: im serious please dont damage wait what does that last part have to do?....okay then she certaintly is a energetic young woman but despite this...it seems as though Reid and her are perfect for each other I sense that these 2 will continue to help each other...hmm oh right I have to continue the training from earlier

"Brother said that if I was going to insist on learning how to fight like him, then I needed to learn how to fight not just duel. Mr. Hendrix said more or less the same thing. So they made sure I could use whatever was at hand, especially since getting kidnapped or at the very least an attempt at a kidnapping or assassination and having to fight my way out is a very real possibility." Toby grasped both blades with one hand and drew her rapier out with the other. "Brother's style, and thus mine, focuses on starting and ending a fight as quickly as possible. A dead sprint to the target culminating in a single defense shattering thrust to a vital location." She sheathed her blade once more and laughed. "Well, that's the theory at least. I'm great at the sprinting better even than Five if I'm having a particularly good day, but I've never been able to catch up to brother's power, not when he's serious at least."

"Sylveon, lunar face!" Two silver comets streaked towards the ursa, the first one, Sylveon, got scattered apart but Toby got through stabbing both gunblades into the ursa's chest. "Haha, got yeep!" She cried as a second ursa swung at her. Sylveon's dust gathered itself up and reformed as a doppleganger for the girl and caught the blow with crossed blades, slowing it just enough for the real Toby to eject herself from the fray, firing off shots as she rocketed back, which worked out very well since the ursa she had stabbed hadn't gone down. "Oh man, I missed. Oh wait, I was thinking of beowolves, wasn't I? Or did I just not get deep enough? What were the weakpoints of an ursa?" While Toby murmured to herself Sylveon somersaulted back towards it's mistress. She took a deep breath and she and Sylveon dashed back in. "Lunar tide!" One of them got knocked back into the cavern wall as the other slashed at the grimm's legs, the ursa didn't seem to care though and turned to finish off the girl by squishing her against the wall, Toby hopped into the air as she raised her blades overhead and a black casting circle appeared beneath them as Sylveon vanished. The ursa's legs buckled under it's weight and the gunblades came slicing down with great force one destroyed it's shoulder and the other took off part of the grimm's head, but didn't quite finish it. An echoing retort finally stopped the ursa's struggles. Mr. Hendrix holstered his revolver and returned to standby. The circle faded and Toby flipped her grip to rest the tips of her blades upon the ground as she caught her breath and waited for her ears to stop ringing from all of the gunfire. "These are neat Farrah, thanks, I think I will keep them. What was that you were saying about them being unbalanced?"

Sylvester concurred between mouthfuls, "Yeah, and spaghetti too. After this what do you say we go take a nice long nap somewhere comfortable?"

Reid: ( he whistles) she's pretty good...

Farrah: ( she finishes taking notes on the performance if the gunblades) yeah and that was an excellent test run that went way better than I wa hoping ( Reid looked at her peculiarly) look I was just hoping they weren't going to explode...I haven't had a chance to even test them...although their still slightly off...

Reid:..they could of exploded?

Farrah: oh yeah that was a real high probability but everything seemed to work out okay by the way ( she turns to face hendrix) when did you get here ( she looks at the revolver) oh wow that's an incredible fire arm you have there and it's in great condition!

Reid: *sigh* ( after Toby finished off the 3 Ursa they continued their trek through the mines to encounter only a pack of Beowolves) ah damnit I thought someone was in charge of keeping the monsters out of these mines!

Farrah: well the mines became too dangerous remember we usually have active hunters guarding it but something happened they don't dare come near town luckily though as of something's keeping them out..

Reid: yeah unlike 7 years ago right?! ( he dodges a Beowolves claws as he sliced the Beowolfs head clean off with the bladed side of his boomerang as he throws his second one the slash a second one)

Farrah: .... ( she hits a beo wolf hard in the chest with her own bracers as fire dust explodes on impact knocking it into a wall as Reid jumps out from behind her and catches his returning boomerang and he fires out Ice spires stabbing through three of them as Farrah finishes them off with her close range explosive attacks and Farrah ducks in time to dodge Reid's boomerang and it strikes another Beowolf freezing it momentarily and then both Reid and Farrah work in perfect unison to to dispatch the rest along with Toby) just like old times huh?

Reid: yeah I guess so( he swings his boomerangs cleaning them of blood as he re sheaths them)

Farrah: we're almost there if I remember correctly we should be close to the vein...lets just hope theirs no more grim around here

((Sorry, I totally had visitors yesterday.))

Lucille waves Shin off and chucks the ball at the wall as hard as she possibly can. It bounces off and returns to her, but rather than catch it, she dodges, allowing it to hit the opposite wall before she attempts to catch it. With a swift hand, she nearly catches it, being a mere few inches off. “Red stars, get the red star!” Lucille chases the rolling ball and once more hurls it at the wall. A quick dodge, she feels the skin of the ball scrape against her face and spirals downward. “Dammit!” She touches her skin, feeling it only slightly roughed up; she activates her Aura. “Round two stupid ball!” She chases the ball, and with the boosted vision her Aura provides, she launches the ball at the wall, gracefully dodging it. With an acrobatic flip, Lucille catches the returning ball. Using her full momentum, she spins on her heel, blasting the ball at the wall, only for a boosted return. A mere fraction of a second and a twitch of her ankle provide her the dodge she needs. She twirls around on the ball of her foot and catches the ball with a great deal of force. She tosses it up in the air and smirks, “That was good, maybe a few more rounds with Aura and then I’ll drop it!”

Small dents in the wooden walls creaked as first drops onto her knees and then her back. “Haha! Depth perception! As if I could be stopped by something so trivial!” Lucille rolls over and grabs the ball, gripping it tightly between three fingers like a claw. “Final test of Lucille’s eye training! Begin!” Lucille musters herself onto her feet and prepares a great windup; she launches the ball into the wall, slamming against a creaking wall. With dance-like movements, Lucille spirals out of the way, her palms extended she uses her spinning momentum to force the ball off her palm and onto the wall, its velocity speeding up. She continues to spin her arms and feet, barely dodging or forcing the ball to keep moving as she dances. After the tenth wall rush, Lucille catches the ball in her left hand. “Just a few centimeters, but it’s manageable, my vision is no worse than it was when I had one eye.” She spirals to the floor and looks up at the ceiling. “Now I gotta do my homework. Come ‘ere dust. Come on.” Lucille wiggles her fingers toward the Dust crystals she’s prepared for her homework.

Quentin knocks on an elegantly sculpted wooden door. “Fancy much?” He mutters under his breath. After a few moments, Quentin checks the door. “Locked. Of course, it’s locked. Because today needed a locked door.” Quentin runs his fingers through his hair and grabs the envelope. “Dude’s good at Dust I hear. So let’s do this…” Quentin pins the envelope to the door with a small Dust shard. With a snap of his fingers, “I’m in.” blazes across the envelope in flames. “He should like that. If he’s got any cla-” Tristan’s tall stature makes itself present as Quentin turns. Gold armor, white hair, cape and big ass spear. This has got to be the guy. “Hunter Drystan, I formally accept your mentorship.” Tristan places a hand on Quentin’s shoulder. Heavy and armored, Quentin does all he can to remain unflinching. “I suppose it is statistically impossible for an entire school to accumulate with filth. Your training will be intense. I will not falter until your skills match mine, or even surpass them. My specialty may be dust, but I’ve also mastered many forms of weaponry. I will raise all of your skills. All I ask is that you participate in an event for me.” Quentin’s face flashes with a smirk. “Would that event happen to be the school tournament?” Tristan nods, taking his hand off Quentin’s shoulder. “Yes, join me inside for some tea while I discuss to you the terms of this mentorship.” Quentin pauses, “I only aim to defeat one team, Team RLKS. If they don’t get to fight my team I don’t care about the subsequent matches.” Tristan turns to face Quentin, “Then you will find our arrangement suitable to match your needs and my own.”

Regarding the chance for her gunblades to explode, "Well, it's no fun if it's too easy, right?"

Toby stpped walking and put the flat of a blade on Farrah's chest. "Really? You're going to say that? That's like saying it can't get any worse. And then the bottom falls out." She rested the blades on her shoulders again. "You get to go first, when you see an army of grimm scream so we know to run."

Farrah: oh come on stuff like that only happens in- oh hey there it is! ( the group arrives at the sight all around them is dust crystals glowing in the darkness of the caves) hmm allright here Reid come here I need your help with these come on Toby mr Hendrix you can help too

Reid: ( he walks over tomomemof the crystals as he places his hand on it )....soo what exactly

Farrah: Toby can you come here and place your hand on this crystal?

"Okay. Hold these for me?" Toby inquired of Mr. Hendrix as she handed him the gunblades. He took them in one hand and drew his revolver with the other, decidedly not helping with the collection of materials on the off chance something decided to attack while the others had their hands full. Toby did as she was bid but said, "Let's hope you're right. So, what am I doing exactly?"

Lucille sits on the floor, her legs crossed as she waves her hands over the four crystals of Dust. A small bubble of wind swirls before her. Soon after, an electric cage forms over it. “Good, we’re makin-” The unstable wind nearly bursts. Lucille’s effort to contain it in time fails and a small whirling electrical cloud occurs. Lucille activates her Aura to protect herself. “Dammit! Dammit, dammit, dammit!” Lucille falls back onto the floor, kicking her feet in the air. “Why can’t I get passed lightning?” Lucille draws herself back up and greats another ball of wind. “Shrink. Condense. Control.” Lucille compresses the air to a super tight sphere. “If Mira can do this I can do this! I’m not a worse Dust caster than her!” Lucille once more summons forth another electrical cage. She stares long and hard at it, calming her breathing as she slowly tries to stabilize both elements. “Looking good. Now just fire and water. As a fire expert, I should save it for las-” Lucille feels the electricity grow unstable and calmly twirls her hands around it, making sure it counter-spins the sphere of air. “Just a little bubble over it. I can do that.” A small bubble forms around the cage of electricity. The bubble frosts over, becoming a solid figure of ice. “Just please don’t explode yet.”

A blazing blue inferno spirals around Lucille and she laughs, getting to her feet. “Almost there! Almost-” A crack forms on the ice sphere, and from it a bolt of electricity nearly strikes Lucille, “Oh shi-” The inner sphere of wind explodes, sending shards of ice everywhere, only to be caught by the swirling flames and completely incinerated. “I hate this. I hate this so much.” The pillar of flame drops and Lucille drops back to the floor once more. “Back to square one. Back to the first freakin’ step!” Lucille hastily forms a sphere of wind. “The order’s right. I’ve just got to stay calm and get to fire.” She shakes her head and whimpers. “Mirrraaaa why was this the homework? Why four? Why not two? I hate, hate, hate you Mira!” Lucille falls back and kicks her feet about, throwing a childlike tantrum. “How do I prove it even if I get it? I’ve got a natural affinity to fire? Why not nest fire dolls instead of stupid wind and water and thunder Dusts?” Lucille sits up and rolls her sleeves up, wiping the sweat beads from her forehead. “Wait… the wind hasn’t died down yet.” Lucille observes the sphere and smirks. “Looking good wind. Looking good.” Lucille uses her fingers as she recreates the cage of electricity. “I’ll get it this time.”

Farrah: okay Toby I need you to focus like your casting basically were going to extract the dust ( she readies empty dust crystals and vials) now this s the hard part once we start the process can't stop until its extracted otherwise it won't be of any use to us we both have to focus ( she begins as a cast circle appears on the vein and on the empty crystals as a light glow begins to emit from the vein and once the dust begins to extract all the crystals begin to resonate in the area lighting up the cave when suddenly a loud roar resonates through out the cave) damn not know we just started if we stop now the vein won't recover until atleast. 3 days from now...just focus Toby I trust you I know you can do this just focus and breath softly just listen to the dust...

Reid: ( he looks over his shoulder to hear the roar as he walks over beside Hendrix) Farrah Toby keep working on that we'll handle this you only have one chance right how long do you need

Farrah: with Toby's help only 10 minutes no maybe 8 you just need to hold it off

Reid: ( he draws his boomerangs) we'll do better than that ( out of the darkness of the cage comes a large lion chimera type of grim) oooooh that's a big boy....Mr. Hendrix we need to keep it away from them I'll back you up let's go ( his aura flares)
