Im glad its on the PS4, but I'm a bit annoyed that its on the XBone too I mean, this would have been a great sony/nintendo brand. But w/e, in the end of the day its business.

On the other hand, SE confirmed that this game will come out after FF15 and that their efforts are focused on releasing FF15 for now--so I'm happy (seeing as how I got my PS3 to play Versus when it was announced like in 2006)..

Anyway, with SE going down, I'm starting to wonder if it was really such a good idea for them to make it a PS4 exclusive, I mean, what moron would buy a brand new console for a game like KH when they have a perfectly good system already, I may not be a fan, but methinks this sucks to all PS3 owners out there who were waiting a long time for it to come out on PS3, instead we get remastered crap, KH was bad enough for me, but remastering it? Really?

Why not? Why bother posting in a topic about something that you have no interest in. Let people here who actually enjoy the game and have a mutual liking of it discuss it without your constant posts every other second proclaiming you're dislike of the series. Nobody cares that you don't like it. Go take your negativity somewhere else if you have nothing good to say. You obviously post here to get a rise outta people for some reason or you were trying to get your post count up at the time, either way, to make it simpler, if you have nothing nice to say, don't say anything at all.

Oh, I have an interest alright, in fact, I'm perfectly willing to try out KH, but the thing is:
1. Disney Characters don't appeal to me.
2. The whole "Power of friendship" thing is overused and rather stale.
3. A confusing and convoluted storyline(And people thought XIII was bad).

I'm not looking for an argument, and I apologized, so unless you want this to get ugly, keep calling me out then, I'm just here to post my problems with the series, if you think I'm being a jerk, go ahead and think so, just mind your own business, if you don't like what I'm posting here, tell a mod then, or don't even bother reacting at all.

Well, pretty much:

-The gameplay, mostly. It's a fast-paced RPG Action with lots of things to do. It can be relatively easy and fun (button smash yay), while also be tremendously hard and require you to do lots of strategic thinking and QUICK reflexes (if you can beat all the Organization XIII Data on Proud or Critical without any help from guides, you ARE a skilled gamer). And sure, while some mini-games and stuff can make you wonder if you're not playing one of those silly movie-based games, they ARE good challenges if you see them on a strictly gaming view, perhaps even more difficult and entertaining than what other several RPG Actions have to offer. Personally, i find them much more complete as videogames than the GU games.

-The story, because, as confusing or convoluted you might say it is, it's actually a great story that deeply connects very well throughout all the videogames it has released, for all sorts of consoles (which is something i both love and hate...love that it has a wide span of gaming releases but hate that i can't have all of them to play all its games 'XD), and it goes FAR BEYOND the mere Disney crap of friendship and shitz. In fact, ever since KH2 i've always thought that if it wasn't because of Disney, Kingdom Hearts could have a SERIOUS, COLD story about worlds being destroyed, people killing themselves to achieve other means of power, monsters that hunt and MURDER living beings to try to complete themselves, and perhaps even child soldiers that sacrifice their lives without knowing why. EVEN with the Disney stuff, the Organization XIII is pretty dark in itself. Sadly, all the Disney stuff does make it seem too childish and "happy", trying to surpress all the plot so they can stamp the Disney tags on it and sell it as a happy Disney product...but just like with the gameplay, if you're able to look past all the Disney stuff, you can see that it does have a pretty great and solid story, one worthy of the good old days of Square. And honestly, some Disney stuff isn't really bad at all. The Lion King is awesome XD

-The FF cameos. Yes, they're very different from the actual Final Fantasy characters, some even have different names (lol Leon), and they pretty much have absolutely nothing to do with Final Fantasy overall, but they ARE cool to have, it's always cool to fight alongside or against them, and as characters in the Kingdom Hearts universe they're actually good. Personally, they're actually the reason why i started playing Kingdom Hearts 'XD

-And why not, the music. It does have a good OST, Simple and Clean and Sanctuary (and of course their japanese counterparts...though technically the english version is the counterpart) are beautiful songs, plenty of battle themes are great, and even the Disney-ish songs are remixed in enjoyable ways for a RPG gamer. I don't exactly buy KH to enjoy the music, but i DO enjoy the music, so it's a bonus :3


Also, cheer up everyone c: There's nothing wrong with sharing your negative comments, dislikes, angry rants, etc., about something you don't like in the topic that is meant to talk about it. I mean, that's what a FORUM is all about XD If we could only talk about the things we like without being able to say anything bad about them, then this would be more like an extremist fanclub where anyone that doesn't love what everyone else loves is shunned to death or something D: Sure, i'll admit that Kaori can be very rude and direct when expressing her dislike about something, and i wasn't very happy with her last time that she spammed a KH topic with videos expressing her disagreement with it (because it WAS a form of spam), but well, she's just herself and i like that she's honest and direct, and would rather prefer to have her like this rather than a member going all "I LIKE ^-^ +1000" on every post, which WOULD be mere posting to raise postcount. It might not be nice, as a fan, to come to a discussion only to have someone talk bad about the thing you like and want to happily discuss about it...but hey, it's the internet, and anywhere else you should be happy if you see a nice comment within 1000 dissing ones. And heck, even in this forum you check the SAO topic and there's ALOT of hatred and bad comments against them, and yet no one calls them trolls or tells them to go away, rather the few actual SAO fans try to defend it with arguments and counter-arguments, perhaps some bad and some more into an aggressive side, but it's discussion either way, the food and soul of the forums.
So, stop fighting about who's a troll and who isn't, if you don't wanna say anything don't say it, and if you do wanna say anything then you're free to say it, as long as it's not against the rules nor is meant to directly attack someone. And have fun posting and discussing about the things you love or hate, that's what this is all about c:

Well, Zaseo's walking me through about the series so I could understand it, I'm willing to give the games a chance, but it just feels like a bad fanfic, what with the censoring in the U.S version and all, and like you said Sorrow, the "Happyfying" turns me off, I think the game would do well without the Disney elements.
