What is your Rarest .hack// collectable?

My latest collection, I've revised the list and am doing my best in filling up my collection. "Rarest" items I have would probably have to be the two archives books, the comiket gift bag set, the promo DVD's, and my pre-order items since they're becoming harder to come by.

Excuse my mispronunciations and calling some titles incorrectly altogether, I should have rested before jumping on this project, I realized a lot of my mistakes hence you may notice a lot of pausing after I realized them.

@ Shugo_lover I'd say The World magazines are sortof rare, you can't really buy them too easily most places and they come with CDs and other extras ^_^

@ Insydius xD you must have been really tired,should have took a nap before doing the videos.

Good thing you have a place to put your entire .hack collection into, though won't be too long before it won't fit in there lol Now sure if a full bookcase could hold all that either xD

Great work with the wiki page and the list of .hack// merchandise! Was looking through and noticed .hack//Memories isn't there along with some other items such as the Rena/Shugo plushies, afew magazines and shirts ^_^

They're pretty hard to find in the UK, England nowdays. : p Last year in Oct I saw the whole DVD series of .Hack//Sign in London Expo (Comic Con), I forgot how much they were for but I do remember they were cheap but I didn't have any money at the time to buy them. D;

I spent most of my money on Touhou Project video games and Touhou Project fan made music CD's.

Its actually been a while since I looked at my collection, but I have a deck or two of the .hack//ENEMY card game with the .hack//GIFT characters cards, a couple of T-SHIRTS, the Collectors edition of .hack//SIGN with the box, postcards, stickers, and the DVD cases still have that new smell even after all these years. I also have the majority of the books, manga and so on. Just about everything that was released in the US and maybe a few things that got imported. OH and I almost forgot, I have the Box set OST for SIGN, Liminality, and Extras from the first season.

^.^ you should have a look on amazon or ebay, they usually have the remaining games albeit not usually that cheap plus you'll need to check to see if .hack//Liminality is included for the games.

Today I got more .hack items through the mail so posting a picture of them along with what arrived the other day still waiting for another item to arrive at the warehouse



- The Comiket set (though I have an extra book,earphone jack, flask with changeable covers) which I rebought as I was missing the Makoto-san plush and Haseo/Blackrose bags ^^' With free Solatorobo booklet
- .hack//LIVE booklet as I managed to get the clear file for this before ^_^
- .hack//Quantum clear files
- 27 .hack cards which form the 3 pictures you see at the bottom, they have characters on the back ^-^ Only saw these before alongside the complete japanese .hack//Sign,luckily I came across them in an auction

Forgot to include Serious Mode Flugel (#9) and Atoli (#57) cards from .hack//LINK Victory Spark ^^'

I did have some on a back-order/pre-order at a place called Atomic Comics until someone drove a car through it... I have the .hack//Outbreak shirt and the .hack//Sign shirt (Not sure which one is exactly). I actually got lucky with the box set. I got brand new for about $30 (it was actual a traded item). I was looking up the going prices for some of the complete collection for Sign and the first four games and if I sell to the correct person I could pay for a months rent ... Its crazy how much money some people are willing to through around

People may be asking for alot of money but more than likely others won't buy for that price, they'll keep looking out for a cheaper copy lol Infection/Mutation and on occasion Outbreak can be bought quite cheaply, though usually doesn't include Liminality ^^'

And sadly the entire company went under not much longer, so Atomic Comics is no longer around... And yes that is the shirt! I had actually bought a slim case 3 dvd set of .hack//sign and my cousin wanted to trade me so that she could have more room on her dvd shelves, so it was just sheer luck that I got the complete set. The only thing that I am missing from it is the grunty plushy because she wanted to keep it.

I have the Liminality dvds with the games (cant play em, without watching the dvds to get the full story), but I don't plan on selling them anyways, too much emotional attachment to them.

^.^ precisely, I don't know why fans would sell the games (besides for money) but then more than not they'll want to play them again and they'd more than likely need to dish out so much to obtain all the games + liminality ^^' i'm glad .hack// GIFT

They tried their best, but I guess it was like a sinking; ship you try to get everyone off before it sinks, but in this case you don't die, you just get your money back if you didn't get your product.

What I really want are some of those books that you have! I especially love having concept artbooks.

Yeah, if I only had the money, but alas, I need to dish out another $100+ for my fiancee... Need to either get her laptop screen fixed or get her a new laptop for school...
OH! But I do check my local Hasting everyone so often because they do get good stuff in every so often! Maybe I will get lucky someday and they will have an used artbook sitting on their shelves!

I been a .hack fan for a long time now, sure im new to the forum reason for the new .hack movie I saw sparked my big interest for .hack even more. Well it was cold of because I feel like im the only one in my country to like it.

Anyway the only thing I could call the rarest .hack collectable for me is the .hack// infection game yeah it´s nothing much I know but get anything in merchandise way is impossible if you don´t want to pay huge import taxes also being unemployed don´t help much. But I was happy I manage to get at least 1 of the games. So yeah nothing fancy but it´s rare to me and I hope some day to add more to my tiny tiny collection hehe.

Hey, a collection is got to start somewhere, and there is no better place then the beginning! To me, a collection is something that you value and grow over time. So hopefully when you get a job, you can put some money aside and slowly build your collection! Rome was built in a day as they say.

You could always try a different region and get them off the interent, since I heard some people did that for GU in Europe. I cant remember if PS2s were region locked or not...

Problem is I have about 50 bucks to spend on what every I want so yeah to expensive when you no job.

And what got me in to .hack when I first watch .hack//sign in 2003 and played .hack// Infection at friends place every sense I watched more anime and read mangas and got more in to it sense then.

Amazon is a good place for importing (both US and UK ship to Sweden last time I checked). You can usually find good deals, and also even discounted shipping depending on if you're a prime member, amount spent etc...
