"Everything, but the armory primarily. Actually, let's try that. Mother forgive me" Bill got on his knees and held his rosary in both hands. The illusion of the battlefield spread out as far as he could get it, he was surprised at just how far it went, it encompassed the entirety of Angel's house, and everywhere the illusion stretched out to influence Bill gained awareness of. This only lasted a second, long enough for him to identify a few key locations in the building and discover his ability already had a name, Battlefield. "Battlefield? Appropriate, I suppose." He stood up, a little unsteady, and nodded at Mary. "I think I've got a pretty good grasp on the layout now, what should we do until tomorrow?"

Battlefield's grasp.

Post by Giegue »

A sudden jump. Fon's mind could tell apart illusions from reality. Something happened, they were teleported to a warzone. Fon grabbed Claudia and held her close he would protect her. And then they were back. Just as sudden as they had left. What was that? That was certainly no illusion. Fon let Claudia go and bowed. "My apologies for that." He then turned to face Kyousuke. "While that sounds like it might be of benefit, I have the inkling that your roomate may not be quite so agreeable on my stay or Lady Claudia's, for that matter. However, I appreciate the offer." Fon bowed before turning to face Claudia.

Agh, he could almost feel Kyousuke punching him for that! He had to fix things, really he didn't had anything against them-- he just wanted to see her angry "Ahh, Fon... I never said such things-- I just wanted you two to know eachother, but your idea is far from bad!" He swung back to his chair "If you want we can all get to know each othe--" suddenly, they we're found in a battlefield. Was this their 'mission'?!-- well, it looked like it wasn't, because it just lasted a few seconds "ah... a-anyways... you two may sit wherever you want... I'll leave these kind of desitions to my roommate here Kyousuke..." he said, relunctantly but with a comforting tone on his voice, as if accepting them and Kyousuke's idea...

For an instance... this seems like a better idea... the bigger the army the better the chances to win...

Kyousuke: W-wait? I have to make these decisions?! ( he looks at Soraka) why do I have to? ( he notices the scenary become a battlefield) ah! ( as soon as he gets uP as quickly as the battlefield appeared it dissappeared he sits back down) *sigh* allright ( he takes his glasses off for a momentas he rubs his eyes) the longer this day goes on the more questIons I am left with ( he looks over at Soraka) so how come I'm making the big decisions again? Come on Soraka it's just lunch try to smile atleAst

He chuckled at kyousuke's reaction "Yep, you're now in charge of social decisions, Nothing more so don't worry too much" he laughed playfully once again just to turn to Claudia and Fon, he had now understood what Kyousuke wanted him to do now "Well what are you waiting for? Have a seat and let's talk about us" with a small twitch on his eye he smiled-- he looked kind of lunatic, but it had to take a while for his natural impersonifications to come out once again in the afterlife. After all, it was neccesary to make alliance with others... even if he didn't like it-- he could take advantage later and use someone as a human shield maybe, this fact made him laugh for a second, then he remained silent and watched over Fon and Claudia's reaction.

This time... I have Nothing intellectual to write down here...

'I have to make the announcement soon.' Maemi thought to herself as she stood up. The door to the house was opening she could tell. The teams that had been on missions earlier for her floor were heading in to either have lunch or potentially just go and rest. It felt like a normal day was going to come to a close soon. Taking a moment to prepare, she opened the door to her room and looked at the people that ranged from adults to people that might have once needed wheel chairs. They had a range of greetings, but none seemed to be disrespectful. 'New recruits are always troublesome on the schedule.' Allowing herself to wait for the elevator, she crossed her arms while trying not to smoke again until the later meeting. While Seiji had been fine with it, the recruits would complain and she had punched most of them until she realized she was doing it to spite them.

She moved towards the kitchen and towards the dining area to examine the people eating there. Some of them gave a knowing gaze, as if they knew what the drill was. "Your attention please," She spoke, though her voice still had an agitated edge to it.

Yuriko looked towards the woman with her gaze slightly uncertain. She hadn't done anything really yet, but hoped that it wasn't that anyone had caused trouble.

----

"We'll be having a meeting of all the candidates, leaders, and teams tonight. Mostly questions and answers, though the only required attendees are new recruits." Mary spoke, glad that Maemi hadn't gotten annoyed at Bill's sudden use of power. Normally she only allowed it under certain circumstances. "I probably won't be attending, but if you'd like me too I'll stay for a bit."

"Ah, Chi-, I mean Fon" Along came her knight in shining armor to defend poor helpless Claudia; too bad his ladyship had decided to switch roles. As for his inquiry over her lunch, her eyes moved over to the untouched contents of the bowl atop her tray. "I have not-" Normally the plan would involve mingling with the other men away from her conquests lest she wished to ignite jealousy. The name of the game : Don't let him see you . Alas this time the pestering male's attachment had done away with that singular most important rule-- don't let them see you. Now she had to dilute her flirt if she wished to hold onto Fon.

voice stole her attention, that same pompous tone that had made pushed her further past the point of civility. The corner of her fake smile threatened to dip over the murderous thoughts that began to swarm in her mind at the sight of his grin. That stupid face, that stupid wink, enough gall to stir her composure and cause the thinnest streak of a crack on her mask as she slightly colored. She could choke him, she could drop the clattering utensils bouncing on her shaky hands and grapple his at his throat. That beastly rancor rising up from her erratic organ pumping anger, anger and adrenaline to execute the action the second Soraka's hand slowly left his lips. She clenched her hands on the tray, Claudia was ready to pounce, her thin smile pulled into a snarl.

The growl of an inhuman blood-thirsty beast silence by her roommate's arms wrapping protectively around her. It was not warmth nor affection that returned her demons to repose, the contact of their bodies gave Claudia the ability to share in the illusion of the battlefield. Scared, appalled? The scene had lasted only a fraction of a second, and dissipated as soon as Fon's arms had abandoned her form.

Suddenly the levity of their pseudo-civility had too left her mind with the lingering heat of Fon's touch. Claudia was back from the depths of a place she could only discern as somewhere other than then and there. Eyes darting about it took a while for her to absorb her state, her stand, and the closeness of which she stood from her roommate, too far into his personal space. And although it was clear the red-head before her was articulating, more like babbling a noose of lost words and stutters, his lips formed vowels and syllables without sound. Turning her head to the side it was a while before the world around her evolved from its mute state and the surround sound was turned on. By the time the bulbs in the back of her ancient screen had warmed enough to produce both picture and sound the only words registered by her ears were "Well what are you waiting for? " and "Have a seat and let's talk about us.".

Claudia took a seat next to Soraka simply because it had sounded like an order. Still, in her lusterless eyes, as devoid as one of the doll's gazes laid the absence of her mind in the matter as she shifted uncomfortably on her seat to place her cold stew on the table. Her skin felt tight, estranged from having been handled by the man as though his hands had corroded her flesh with his touch. She felt tight in her own skin, like a snake about to shed its former shell. That's what she wanted to do, start over again as a new being, a new name, a new her. Creaking on her hinges, the porcelain puppet made to lift an arm from its juncture touching a ghostly pale palm to where he had touched her, and slowly lifting her own cool fingertips expecting to hear the sickly snap of her melted film as she retracted her digit. Nothing.

"I'll be fine on my own, thank you though. I'll be in my room until then." Bill left his plate mostly untouched and entered his room, he knelt at his bed and started praying.

He could not notice at first, but at a second glance he noticed Claudia's expression-- hidden at first sight but he knew that she wanted to kill him, as if exterminating a plague "Uh he--" he did not finish his words and Claudia rushed to sit at his side, he was talking about sitting together but not this close! As soon as he fixed his chair Maemi had caught everyone's attention with an announcement. Although he did not know what could this be he knew right away-- or at least he though about some potential ideas; a mission? A gathering? A 'how did meal go' conversation? Although the last seemed perfectly out of the context and a bit lunatic, the idea just passed through his mind "Well, we'll have to save this conversation for later... I bet this is important..." he gave no importance to the fact of Claudia being at his side and just focused on Maemi's talk.

What kind of disclaimer will she give out this time?...

My name is Fon. (Editted as per request).

Post by Giegue »

Fon took his seat beside Kyousuke. "I'll go first, my name is Fon, but I've been given the name Dragon before." Fon said modestly. A smile lit up Fon's face as he spoke. Memories from his life had brought with them the feelings of nostalgia. Fon quietly recalled his memories. He couldn't help himself, but he could hold back his tears. A warm disposition and his face softened. "I'm sorry about that, I am Fon, and I come from China. Although I'm sure that the latter is quite obvious."

((I've editted it. Sorry about the misunderstanding!))

Akiko watched and listened to Mother. A meeting with her team later that night, eh? Her eyes went briefly to her roommate, who was sitting at a table anxiously watching Mother. She pondered what questions she would ask... and looked to the doll on her shoulder and smiled at it impishly.

The doll looked back at Akiko, blinking a moment before returning the smile with a Flutter of its wings and a thumbs up. Meanwhile, a slight weight on Yuriko's shoulder signaled her own doll coming to land on her shoulder. It gave the shy girl a confident smile as it fluttered its wings gently for a moment.
The entire time, while most of the dolls were continuing to perform their pre-programmed tasks with the food and drinks, several were actively scanning the room. And not just that room either, but rooms and hallways all across the Angel House. While Maemi might have recognized 'Battlefield' as Bill's, Araihan merely knew that it had come from inside the building. Well, that and that it wasn't actively an attack of some sorts.
The Girl herself sat back on her bed as she scanned over the in coming groupmen of Maemi's team. All accounted for. But then, that was to be expected for her group. "And we we have a meeting. Wonderful..." Araihan said to herself as her dolls took the plate back to the kitchen. She'd rest for a bit before heading down for the meeting.

While Ara rested, Zorlo appeared downstairs. He didn't walk, leap, stroll or even skip downstairs... he simply was THERE suddenly. More importantly, he was sitting next to Yuriko's seat (the last open seat int he room at the moment, one would note). A plate of food set out before him as Z stood behind the chair, looking at Yuriko's doll. "You have a very pretty doll, there. Ara's craftsmanship has become... astounding," he stated with a smile. "Oh, forgive me for disturbing you, miss. I am Zorlo, it is nice to meet you," he said with a slight bow as he sat down and began to eat quietly. Ara would be along... eventually. For now... that meant HE was in charge.

Everyone else here was ROYALLY screwed. Or would be had they realized that fact.

Tension rises.

Post by Giegue »

There he was again, the man with green hair. Zorlo the mysterious swordsman. As kind as Fon was, he could care less for meeting the two people he sat before. Somehow the man had appeared; it was just like in the hall earlier today. Zorlo was truly a powerful man, and unless the puppetmaster herself came down to eat with them, Zorlo was the most interesting person in the room. Fon's eye was trained on him. How had Fon even seen the man? Had he sensed Zorlo's ki? Was ki easier to sense in this world? Zorlo seemed to make Angel's House more like the afterlife than anything else, even the dolls.

Maemi examined the room, seeing the situation the best she was going to get. "Tonight we will all meet at the lounge after dinner to discuss rules and codes of conduct. They gave you the bare bones and I'm not about to get more paperwork to do when someone breaks the house doors continuously." She spoke, looking at the dolls moving around. "I will expect all of you to be there or I will punch you all out of bed myself. Make sure you behave until then." She walked out of the room and looked at one of the dolls. "You think you can handle sending a plate and drink up to my room Doll Girl?" She asked the doll and walked away without waiting for an answer. She needed some coffee and a cigarette badly.

Yuriko looked almost a bit too worried when the green haired man appeared beside her. "Did you want to sit here?" She asked, her voice soft as she looked at him. When he mentioned the doll, she looked a bit surprised that it simply smiled at here. "Oh, I left it upstairs so it didn't break. It looks so fragile." She slowly brought the doll into her arms and did the best smile she could at the moment.

(Anyone other than Bill who noted that comment from Mary needs to alter their post. That was on Maemi's floor within Mary and William's room, so it isn't even something heard by chance.)

"It looks so fragile because it is more human than it seems, young miss," Zorlo said with a smile."Still, it is a very strong doll, meant to represent the inner strength Ara sees in you. She only makes special dolls for people she sees something in," the green-haired man stated with a smile as he looked at his seat. "And my seat is fine. I found that seat because it was open. I would wish not to take another's seat," he told the girl with a smile. "Anyway, you should relax. You aren't on my team, so I've got naught but niceness for you," he stated as he patted her on the shoulder as he bowed his head at Akiko. "And you as well miss. That applies to you as well."

"Oh," She looked at the Zorlo with a bit of a more relaxed expression. She drew one hand to her drink and took a sip. She was wary, making sure to keep the cup away from staining the doll at all. "Is there a reason you can't be nice to your own team?" She asked as she placed the cup back down.

"It has nothing to do with being mean to them, but rather, that I have to train them in a manner that will draw out their true potential. You can ask your team leader about my methods... she has been through them before," he said with a smile as he reflected on old times. "Anyway, eat and keep up your strength, little miss. You shall be fine. Ara's a great leader. A great leader indeed," he told her, smiling as his plate seemed to vanish suddenly.

As Maemi rode the elevator up, it paused on the second floor. The doors opened and Araihan casually stepped, hitting the button behind her to close the door as she leaned against a wall. "You seem... overly annoyed, Headmistress. What's up?" she asked calmly. In here, at least, Araihan knew that if Maemi hit her, it wouldn't be hard. She wouldn't want to damage the elevator, after all. "Has that weird field put you on edge or has something happened?" she asked as the elevator rose.
