So, i recently restarted G.U. again, fell in love (yeah, again), searched a forum about it and you appeared. I was so happy, i even saw an Apkallu space !! This site is great

Welcome to the Boards Furie! You remind me of when I first joined haha. I accidentally met Kai the PKK here on the forums, already he had 2000 posts and he had his own title displayed under his avatar image. Man, I was so much of a Newb back then. Haha, I remember thinking "I want that for myself!" So I devoted myself to the forums, but I was so out of place here, I just didn't fit, I couldn't talk about really anything with anybody. Everyone was so much more devoted to Dot Hack than me that I didn't know what to do. So, I returned to Kai the Pkk, yeah, I was a creepy stalker hah, and I said, "How did you get this many posts?" I didn't literally talk to him mind you, only myself. So, I followed a few of his posts and suddenly I found myself in the Roleplay/ creative writing section on the boards. I accidentally bumped into Shugo_Lover while following a Roleplay made by her, Kai was in it too. I was so overwhelmed, yet so excited that I stuck Myself in there and somehow made two amazing friends. I found my place. But, eventually, thanks to them, I managed to gather enough levels to increase my courage stat high enough to post in other things in the forums and it was there I met The Legendary Paladin up there. I was a little intimidated by him to be truthful, him being a mod and all, but hey, eventually, everything came together and I was part of the family. I hope you can find even more fun here than I did! Welcome to the Forums Furie!

I completely understand where you're coming from, KiteXX. I was a little intimidated when I first got here- again, because I didn't think I was dedicated enough to be a member, but I posted a few off topic threads, and seem to have made some progress with that. You should check them out if you haven't already! ^^

Also, I'm looking forward to RPing with you. The previous forum I was on had very...lack luster RPs. All one liners all the time, and whenever I would post a wall of story hoping to get a more in depth response, I still got only one liners, haha. Seriously, the posts were "[name of character] follows [name of my character]." for pretty much everything I wrote. I couldn't handle it any longer.

Oh, i LOVE him just as much as you do, so much that my replies to him must contain an image of an angry guy flipping a table D: lol
Srsly how is he still a member? We have banned true spambots for MUCH LESS than he's done D8 lol


And you know, just like you all, i was very intimidated by all the members when i first joined here. There was AuraTwilight, an Administrator by that time, with a post count that reached over 9000 (literally D8'), and debating with him about anything was like commiting suicide for your online persona D: And overall the forums weren't as "nice" as they're right now...i mean, we're actually treating AWFUL members in a nice way here, had this been years ago we'd already have topics full of hateful comments and huge direct insults 'XD But yeah, that's when i joined, and by then it seemed crazy to imagine that i could make friends, let alone stay in the forums long enough to reach over 6000 posts and even become a Moderator. But eventually, i did meet some great friends, got to know and like everyone, participated much more in topics, and things kept going greatly to this day, where i can say i have some true friendships in here that i really want to keep :D

So, don't feel so intimidated by the members here, including me (ESPECIALLY me, i'm way nicer and friendlier than you could imagine 'XD), we all started as members with 0 posts and scared by everything around us, but everyone is welcomed here and everyone can be part of our great community and participate with all the members no matter when you joined or how many posts you have!!! :D ...Of course, make STUPID posts and drop senseless insults all over, and some members will start wishing for your existence to end painfully '8D lol
