Aren't Fighters and Werewolf the same class? They were in the manga.

They're different from eachother. If I remember correctly, Werewolves were a sub-class for Fighters who had high stats.

Werewolf is a subclass of Fighter, unlocked by obtaining some rare item. There is an implication in Analysis that this may not be the only such subclass.

I wonder if they'll have sub-classes like that in Fragment? That would be all too cool...like, you know, the official Ninja subclass of Twin Blades...hmm...I should make a topic about that...

I don't think so. .hack//Fragment is modelled off the game universe- 3 characters in a party, etc., so it's unlikely we'll see any of the "modifications" they made for the version of the game we saw in UdeDen.

To be fair, Udeden is basically the same system as in the games. In fact, I think the only difference is the addition of those grappler classes.

Both the manga and the anime hinted that there had been a LOT of updates between the game and then. The system may be the same, but I somehow doubt they'll deviate from the standard .hack//game formula to implement them.

That "Archer" was titled an unknown class? Makes me wonder about that character. Thanks for translating Analysis Shinsou Wotan. If I had it I'd never have been able to translate it. I need more training with Kanji.

We already have said face painting doesn't have to do with element though.

Do we have any proof on that, though?

No, but the same can be said for the idea it's element based. There's no proof either way so both could exist. I just personally don't think it's anything much to think about since many characters have paintings that don't releate to elements.

Maybe it could be elements. Lightning and Water right? Maybe it's symbolic, maybe as Lightning and Water don't mix or whatever.

I'll admit the point that there's no proof either way, but about the tatoos. There are very many tatoos in the world, but these are the only ones we've seen that really look like they represent an elemental property. I'm going to lean towards the thought that there is a connection, but I'm not going to say how strong the connection is.

If we could get back to the topic, I'd like to give my input on the subject.

Though, I have no proof to support this opinion, it is still something I believe. I think that Haseo had one character, (though I can't tell which is the first), then after fighting Tri-Edge, he was unable to use the character again, (based off of the second trailer) so he created a new similar character in order to continue playing the game.

Tear this theory apart as much as you want, cause that is what its for.

Well, I think it has been pretty much said that once Tri-edge Data Drains Haseo, Haseo is forced back to level one in which he is a twin blade without armor.

But, what does that have to do with the face paint subject?

Yeah Krul, pay attention. We are on subject. I think you may be in the wrong thread.

Actually, KrulMagus is on subject, if you look at the first post.

"haseos face paint changes from lightning to water and so on meaning?"

I like your theory though, KrulMagus, and to me it seems very possible for that to happen.

I really shouldn't say this, but here's my opinion. I agree with whomever (too lazy to go back and see) said that face paint color used to be linked with what element a player is. However, after a recent update, this has been disabled, so players who want pink (red) polkadots on their face can have it without being forced into being a fire type player. As for Haseo, his whole being "The Terror of Death" and being able to switch between multiple weapon classes leads me to beleive he isn't the most legal character in The World. My guess is he is able to switch between being a normal-like player and his awesome PKKer form. Whether it's an item that allows him to do this, or he's just a hacker...not really sure. Yall can nuts with that one. But it would make sense, that to stay in The World, undetected by CC Corp., Haseo wouldn't be able to be his PKKer form all of the time. So, I say he walks around like a normal player in his lightning bolt on the face form. This form seeming normal to other players and the system administrators. Which allows him to get close to his "targets" and avoid the system administrators. Then, when he's ready to kick some b00ty, he merely transforms into his PKKer form. (with the unusual cresent moon face-paint) That way he moves through the system, only detected by who he wants to be detected by. Well, that's where I stand on the issue. Brillant topic Bith.
