Alex: ( as he walks through town on the way back he sees a prize snatcher as the snatcher runs past him Alex instinctively it almost seems like he grabs the purse snatchers arm while it seems lIke he subdues the snatcher without using his powers and slams the snatcher into the ground as he puts him in a arm bar) now now it's not nice to steal a woman's purse or so I hear...( he returns the woman's purse as the police take the snatcher away and he conti he's to walk off)

The bartender pauses and backs up a bit. "No... I thought it was over... I never thought someone would call Evan out after what happened to his last challengers..." The bartender walks into the backroom and a few seconds later brings out two huge kegs full of some strong smelling alcoholic beverage. Evan snaps his fingers and a fancy box is placed before him. "This may not be fair, I'm not nearly as drunk as I normally am before I am challenged." The bartender pulls a solid gold key out of his pocket and sticks it into the jewel encrusted box, it opens, revealing an even more gloriously decorated funnel with Evan's name encrusted in it with silver. "Sir, just so you know... there is a waver that needs to be signed before we get started." Evan looks to the mysterious man sitting next to him. "And I would like to know the name of my opponent."

Man: name? Come now are those things truely important in this day and age ( he signs the waver) man even wavers? It looks like this might be more fun the I thought....Aarron that's my name ( he finishes his drink) so then how sha we start?

Alex: ( walking throughout the town as he stops for a moment as he sees the man he couldn't save as the memory of the child crying along with the burning city as he holds his head) stop I can't ever let something like that Happen again...( he continue to walk as he stops in a empty Alley way) you know I dont like being watched... It really startles t help out my self confidence ( he smirks at the man)

Mariah pulled away from him and crossed her arms around her torso to try to ease away the feeling of his arms around her. "I'm not helping him with anything, though, Damien. In fact, he even made it clear once he learned of my powers that he didn't want me to help him. You should have asked me before he set loose on my mind like that..."

"Well, perhaps you should have made that fact a little more clear before you go off and start dating his only competition," Damien replied as he leaned into the door, crossing his arms as well.

"We're not dating, Damien. He just needed someone to show him around, and his powers interested me, like I said yesterday," she replied with a solid voice, although she was fighting to keep a faint blush from bleeding across her cheeks.

"So that's why he took you out to dinner, and you've spent all your time with him since you met, right?" A smirk lit his lips and made him look like the epitome of evil villain. Mariah fought off a shiver and sighed, looking away momentarily.

"We're just friends, Damien. That's all. I'm not helping the newcomer, but I am still helping him, so please let him know as soon as you can... I don't like having unexpected guests in my mind, and especially not him."

"Maybe now you know how others feel when you do the same, my dear." Damien's laugh followed Mariah as she left the room, but she had accomplished what she had set out to do. She had made her point, and hopefully pulled a little attention off of Alex in the process. Probably not, but she could hope.

"Sir, it's Damien. She just left, and claims that the boy has actually made a point of not seeking her help. Should I continue tailing them, or let them go for now?" A few seconds of silence fell, but Damien ultimately nodded in reply. "Yes sir. The current King is no issue to you, and the new boy shouldn't be too much if she truly isn't helping him. She can still tell you what you need to know." Another small round of silence. "Yes sir. I'll stay behind then. Let me know if you need me to join you."

Damien hung up the phone and looked out the window at the city scape around him. "Let the games begin."

Alex: ("you'll never save anybody" it's as if those words caused Alex to snap as he goes after the man as the man leaves a chillin message before he escapes)

Alex: sigh( he pulls out a lighter as he starts playin with it in his hand)

"I can't believe that things are happening as they are," Mariah thought to herself as she walked down the back streets leading toward her apartment. "This is insane, and the games have only just began... What will happen when they get more in depth, and him and Alex begin trying for the title? Alex seems to be quite impressive, but if he could break through my mind and do the damage he did earlier just to play around with me.... I need to talk to Alex about safeguarding his thoughts if he's serious about going for the title now..." She closed her eyes and tried to keep away an impending migraine as she came to the end of the street. She was about a mile away from home, and a headache was the last thing she needed in this day.

"So you're really not breaking our deal, Miri?" a male voice called softly from behind her, causing her heart to freeze in her chest. "This day just keeps getting better...."

"No, sir, I'm not..." she replied in a whisper as she turned around to face him. Her heart had unfrozen as soon as she glanced at the man behind her and was now beating a little too fast. "I assure you that I will not tell him anything that will give him an advantage as I said I would with you. He's simply looking for someone to talk to because he's new around here, and that's all it is..."

"Just friends, huh? Well, as long as you're not giving him my promised advantage, I suppose there's no damage done to our deal, now is there?" he replied as he walked up to her, laying his arm across her shoulder. "So I suppose I owe you an apology for earlier. Will you forgive me, Miri?" Mariah nodded, much to her personal dissatisfaction. He returned the nod and began leading her away from her apartments without another word. He wanted her to scout the crowds and see if she found anything out about his competition and she knew it; there was no need to ask where they were going.

Bio: Lost Christmas was devastating to Vex's family. Their own powers shattered their minds and drove them to fight eachother. Vex suffered the trauma of seeing his sister ripped limb from limb by three of his mother, and her body devoured by four of his father, then slowly they began to fight over who got which part. His father clawed his mothers eyes out, and that's the last he saw of her. He turned, and ran away. But his past trauma has never left him.

Evan sighs in disappointment. "That reaction sucked, you didn't seem phased at all. You must have nerves of steel." Evan snaps the key in half. "It's actually just plastic, gold painted plastic funnel, and fake jewels on the box." Evan drags one of the casks toward himself and looks at Aarron. "I'll take the first hit since I'm the defending champ." Evan dips three large mugs into the liquor and places the funnel in his mouth, he pours the liquid into the funnel one mug at a time and each takes no more then five seconds. He spits the funnel onto the table. "Strong and disgusting. Just the way alcohol should be." Evan refills the mugs in preparation for the next round.

Vex stretched slightly, and licked the splattered blood from the tips of his fingers. the scene around him was utterly grotesque. Pieces of something laid scattered about precariously. A dark substance coating the ground, but unmistakable to the human eye. If it was still attached to the body that is. An eye, held aloft by the linking nerves, dangled, and swung back and forth from the hand of the boy. "Take it all in," the boy whispered softly to the eye, "this was you. Is you. Beautiful isn't it?" There was more meat than anything. Ground to pieces as though pounded raw with a mallet. However, there was no denying that this was once a human body. It was too....complete. Vex smirked, dropped the ball to the ground, and ground it to paste using the heel of his boot. "Now you understand my pain." His eyes grew wider as he began to laugh, a regular hearty laugh, a proud laugh. "Isn't that right? Brother."

The one directly behind Alex flinched, and began to back away. "D-don't hurt me I don't want any trouble..." The one to Alex's left snarled, and began to growl at him, His teeth bared menacingly. The one on his right, began to pass him rude finger gestures and profanlely speak, "YEAHH?! COME GET ME YOU c********, i BET YOU AINT GOT THE ***OF A EUROPEAN ANTELOPE! COME ON ********* lET'S DO THIS!"
