I like the Gentle Hands english version. At first, without the lyrics, I couldn't understand it. Now I can and it feels good that i can understand it while others can't.

I really do like all of the music, but from the original games, it would have to be the forest dungeon music, and then the Drain Heart track, the one that plays when Kite destroy Corbenik at the end. >:

Then from the G.U. soundtrack....Well, i /technically/ dont know the name of it, but it plays at various parts in the game....then there is this one too.

My favorite either has to be G.U's Hulle Granz, //Link's Hulle Granz or Harald's Theme. I'll probably go with Harald's Theme, but I really do love that the Hulle Granz themes have the the first and second parts of the overview of the Epitaph in them.

Actually, I think all the music in the .hack series is rather great. Probably the best OST of anything else I've ever played, though there are a few like Shadow of the Colossus and Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles that are battling it for top slot in my heart.

Grass field, Rain. For some reason I loved that background song and it would play on my 'desktop' in the original 4 games. However, for some odd reason it never actually played in fields, so I was stuck with just the emptiness or sound of thunder.

I see this thread around alot an have done lotsa fave song thinking. In the end I think I gotta give it to the Breg Epona theme! It's super nice an relaxing an peaceful! But... I can't yet figure out if I like the G.U. version or the Link one more! They both capture the towns feel super well!
