So you're saying that the lower number in Japan is misleading and actually represents higher unemployment than America's much-bigger number because... both countries calculate it exactly the same way? O.o I'm actually not sure if Japan does what we do and forgoes any sort of estimation, but I do know our unemployment benefits are way weaker than Japan's so there's much less of an incentive to file for unemployment in America.Erranty wrote:But you have to understand, the numbers the government uses only cover people who actually filed for Unemployment. There are tons people who didn't qualify for unemployment, and people who've never had jobs that can't get one because they don't have a vagina (as rude as that is, retail places will hire girls more than guys simply because customers buy things as an excuse to flirt). So just like here in Michigan, the true unemployment number is more than double what the recorded percent is, simply because people aren't willing to train the new generation.
RF: I like to argue with Erranty but I respect him for his witty name and classy avatar referencing an obscure music video. Also I thankfully have no strong opinion about Trigun.
Pogs were awesome! Also Tamagotchi's, alternative rock, Deep Space 9, and terrible, terrible comic books. I miss the 90's...-Loveless- wrote:RF: I really miss those Pogs they had in the 90s.
EDIT: Holy crap:

I didn't know magic eyes were a 90's thing.
