Biatch please, on my last year of high school I used to go out to work at 6 AM and after that go to school, which ended at 22:30. It was a 1-2 hours bus trip from school to home after that, and I'm pretty sure I ranted about that at least 5 times back then xD

According to companies, yes. According to logic, no.

I described it in http://www.dothackers.net/forums/viewto ... 11&t=18691, which basically covers The Audio Home Recording Act of 1992.
So if you hear a song on the radio, tape it, make a copy, share it with a friend, and then they make 3 copies to share with their friends, and the cycle continues then its all completely legal. The same with copying a CD you own, or copying it to your computer, giving it to a friend, and so on.
There have been other acts since the internet became such a common household thing that state the same thing for other forms of digital media. They're allowed to put "uncopyable" media on our computer, which is physically impossible. That's what computers do in order to show ANYTHING. What the companies basically did was add malware to their discs so you could use the copy function with certain files listed in it program. People sued over that.

Anyway, torrenting is Sharing, not Pirating. Pirating involves stealing and profiting from something that someone else has rights to without paying them due fees.

Good, I had torrented the entire first season of Medabots from 4chan and recently been feeling really paranoid, dunno why.

Been wanting to get torrent of Digimon Adventure 01 from 4chan as well.

Thanks, now that I think of it, I'm not the one stealing, whoever made the torrent in the first place is the pirate.

And i don't have a keyboard either. I've gotten good at using the controller to type fast messages though XDD And it's even faster with the autocomplete-thing but i tend to change my words and sentences alot so i only use it about 30% of the time.

And to Keyaki.
Erranty said everything i could've said, and even better than i could, but i'll add my own comments to make you feel less paranoid and more calm about torrenting.

Indeed, torrenting is NOT piracy, piracy involves actively "acquiring goods" (mostly stealing them) and distributing them to gain profit totally independent from the actual creators/publishers. Torrenting is more like getting your own "goods" (files), from your own resources or a friend, and sharing them to other friends. Even though companies and the FBI won't believe this, it's really just as illegal as lending a CD to someone. And no one is really gaining or losing any money due to it...the people who make the torrents don't demand any money, and the people who download them don't pay for them one bit. In fact, people who made the torrents tend to adquire the files in the "legal" ways, so the companies and publishers still gain money anyways. And much more benefits involving popularity and advertisement than if the internet didn't exist the way it is. They just hate the internet and ignore everything about it that doesn't make them 1000% times richer D:
And personally, i torrent ALOT OF STUFF, mostly series and programs. For series it's because i want to watch them and enjoy them and i can't watch them in my country until like thousands of years later. And for programs it's honestly because i don't wanna spend $200 on something that i'm only going to use for as long as my subjects last. And i've learned that several schools actually let you borrow their programs and install them on your computer entirely for free. That is EXACTLY just like torrenting, and you won't tell me those schools are being illegal at all, they're doing much more good than harm in fact.
So don't worry about torrenting stuff. All this SOPA and ACTA **** makes you believe that what you're doing is wrong, and if they ever pass they'll make the whole world believe it's wrong (and trigger a World War that'll end with the disappearence of the internet and throw us back into dark ages, where people will buy even less **** than they do now), but always remember that this is all about sharing, not stealing. So just don't sell the stuff you've downloaded and don't make your own website that literally yells "COME HERE TO DOWNLOAD ILLEGAL STUFF FOR FREE" (even The Pirate Bay has its own anti-piracy rules...after all it's a site about file sharing, not for getting illegal stuff for free), and you'll be all cool. And where did you get all this downloaded stuff? From a friend c:

Well, maybe i am but not for that. If i bought a Heaven & Hell album and made a torrent out of it, i'm not doing illegal stuff. I just want to share what i adquired through legal ways and my own money without gaining any profit myself, i'm just sharing what i like D: If they download it and sell bootleg CDs about it then that's piracy indeed, but that's not my fault D:

Lol I swear, you 're a pro at raping readers eyes with your inFamous wall of text(Notice the use of a game title pun).

But yea, I see your point. Thankfully the SOPA and the PIPA didn't get passed. I just got things like Medabots from someone who made a torrent out of it on 4chan.

Well, I was thinking about playing Tekken 6, but I haven't played it in months, so I'm not really sure about playing with random people online xD
I'd appreciate some help on getting the online trophies of Uncharted 2 if you got it, though :p

RF 1: Sorrow's text walls are too huge for the ps3 browser to handle, so I can only quote 2-3 paragraphs lol
RF 2: After over a year, I decided to give WKC another chance. Turns out the game is much better than I thought. I'm just finding it weird how like 60% of quests are Lv50+ when I just got the Knight o.o

Planning on doing the same thing, I got all the way to end last time, but the last boss was just sooo unfair! Maybe part of the reason that I was under-leveled....

Back then I only played for 3 hours or something. I had just gotten my ps3, so I had a lot of other games to play. It seemed so FFXII-ish that I never bothered giving it another try until now ._.

I just think the custom character should have a bigger role on the story. It's like my character is being Robin fighting weaklings while Batman there beats the big guys...

And sorry, but i don't have Uncharted 2. I didn't buy that game, i just rented it twice D: 10 days was just about enough to get that Platinum D:

I am Albert Wesker ಠ_ಠ
And actually, that "Round 1" is the hardest of all the fights, at least IMO. He's near-impossible to defeat on your first run (must endure the 7 minutes or be VERY GOOD at attacking him) and you have Jill to worry about too, you can't kill her but she can kill you (and has a STRONG affection to Sheva, if you know what i mean).
For the second fight, it's just Wesker and you have Rocket Launchers and the darkness in your favor. Wesker himself might be stronger and faster but he's easier to deal with.
And for the third fight (yes there IS a third fight...Wesker deserves like 8 battles though, minimum), half the time you just run, and for the other half you can either do a usual "shoot/dodge/shoot" boss strategy, or an epic thing with Sheva that leads to an instant win.
So yeah, you've actually dealt with the hardest part so it's not really a "FML" case, just something surprising and cool o3o lol
Keyaki wrote:I must say,

That depends on what you're learning and doing exactly D:
Overall, Java is easier and "more fun" than C++. Sure, at first Java might seem very confusing and complex, with all that crap about classes and Blahblah = new YourMom() to do something that in C++ can be done with a simple Yay() function...but as you go deeper on each one, you'll see that all the "complex" crap in Java actually makes stuff very easier and fast, especially for graphic stuff and interfaces, while in C++ you have to do ALOT more to get similar-enough results. Also, C++ is more for making efficient applications without the aid of any graphical interface (for example, hardware drivers), but learning to make that is a hell of a pain, while Java is more for user-oriented applications and since you can see obvious visual results, it becomes more fun to create and edit programs with it.
Personally, i like C++ more, but i wouldn't use it to make a videogame D:

It's not THAT hard, and in the last battle you don't really need bullets o3o The way to instantly-defeat him is to stun/stagger him only once, and do that thing where Chris or Sheva can grab him while the other stabs him. Preferrably, you'd be the one to grab him, since the Sheva AI won't endure much, and make sure you have full health. And then, what you have to do is something similar to the popular MGS torture...mash a button as fast as you can to prevent your health from decreasing. If you can endure it for the ENTIRE sequence, which lasts long enough, you'd have defeated Wesker for the last time. Of course, if you fail you die c: But this is ALBERT WESKER we're talking about!! Saying he's my "favorite videogame character" or "my inspiration of a true badass motherfucker" is not even enough!! CX lol
Oh and sorry, but after checking and thinking back enough, i remembered that i never bought Resident Evil 5 D: I just rented it, more than once but still just a rent, got the Platinum, and never had it since. So unless i rent it again (doubtfully) or borrow it from someone (even more doubtfully), i don't think i can play it with you D:
It was also the first Platinum i ever obtained. So there's a Random Fact o3o lol
