Sakura stood just looking for a moment at Ashley. This was not what she'd been expecting. She expected to see a Ctarl-Ctarl disabling her already nearly disabled engine, not what appeared to be a Human swimming in her ship's coolant vat. But then, The smell of Ctarl-Ctarl didn't go anywhere else but here. Her tail flickered back in forth in agitated suspicion. "No. I prefer to only kill what I eat if possible. If I'm not eating it, I usually won't kill it and if I kill it, I'm usually gonna eat it!" she replied before smiling. "Besides, what cowardly Ctarl-Ctarl uses under-hand..." she trailed off as she remembered her old Captain that had gotten the position by poisoning the former Captain. "Err- Don't answer that. No, I find such acts appalling and unbecoming. Now then. Ashley, you not a Human, are you?" Sakura asked as she walked over, removing her Gauntlets as she did so.

The human-seeming female looked at the other Ctarl Ctarl and shook her head. "Nope, I'm not a human," she said, keeping an eye on Sakura.

Zorlo stumbled in and fell, practically face first, as he entered, the ship, his bag sliding across the floor and tapping the coolant vent as he lay there. He raised his eyes and looked at the human-looking creature before rising and figuring out what was going on. STraightening out his blue and purple mage robe, he sighed as he looked at this other woman. "You're far too solidly built to be one of my people, but your ears are so... rounded... how peculiar," the man said, thinking on it for a second before he placed his sword down against a nearby wall and sighed.

"You're one to talk, pointy," the woman responded back, looking at him. "But what the deuce are you?"

Zorlo's eyes rose to meet hers as he laughed. "I, madam, am called Zorlo. That's about all I can explain now, but I'll be joining the crew as well," he stated, his gaze not moving an inch. This woman, much like the woman next to him, made him feel uneasy. They had an air of great strength... strength different from the clans of the Dalish. What in the world was a Ctarl Ctarl.

Zorlo placed his bag full of what belongings he had gathered and shifted his glance towards Sakura. "Miss Sakura, where shall i set up shop? I need a place to work... to keep me from badgering the crew with hundreds of questions," the man stated firmly, the tattoo on his face seeming to become a more vibrant black and his eyes seeming to glow as he spoke.

Ash nodded towards Leo. "Yeah." She got out of the pipe and put a hand on both Leo's and Zorlo's shoulders, turned them around and pushed them out of the engine room. "Look, I don't know where you guys are from, but this is my engine room not a public forum and I would like a little privacy at the moment. If you want to talk go do it somewhere else." She shut the door and locked them out. "Guys, they're all the same, this is why I prefer to hang out with engines." Ashley pulled her clothes back on. "I imagine you have a number of questions. My rank is... was exceedingly low, but I assure you that was because of my commander's bias against me. My coworkers in the engineering section always referred to me as chief in spite of her." She pulled out her wrench and tightened the access panel's bolt back in place. "If you're curious about the clothes, I'm not wearing my jumpsuit because I was off duty when we were attacked. If you have a problem with me, I'll get off as soon as we make port, but I assure you. It would be to your detriment." She said confidently as she moved on to the next disabled system.

Sakura smiled as she hung her gauntlets on her belt and crossed her arms. She just kept finding interesting people today. "I doubt I was much higher in rank then you were, I just didn't work in the engine room, hence the utter disrepair of the place. Besides, considering my choice of 'uniform', I'm hardly one to tell you how to dress," Sakura replied, a but more relaxed since it appeared that Ashley was in the same boat as her, more or less. "Now then, my cute Ashley, if you wish to be part of the crew, all you need to do continue that dedication to these engines and do what you can to help with acquiring food and money for maintenance. Sound good, Dear?" she asked with a smile.

Zorlo felt the being pushed out and shrugged. "Well, I can't say I fully understand what just happened," he said as he looked at Leo, "But I'm Zorlo, and there isn't anything I wish to steal from you. Although..." Zorlo turned and kicked the door. "GIve me my sword back when you're done with whatever you're doing!" he yelled at the door before turning and walking a step forward before pausing again. "Oh, and my bag! I wish to keep my stuff with me as best I can," he said to the door, not sure if they could hear him or not, but still trying to keep his stance on at least his stuff firm.

"Anyway, sir, what are you and what brings you here?" the white-haired elf-man asked as he started to walk away before turning to face Leo far enough from the door so when it opened it wouldn't whack him.

"You needn't worry about my dedication and I already put what food packs I had on the escape pod in the store room." She looked over at Sakura and she closed the panel. "My friends usually call me Ash, and I don't know that I've ever been called cute. I usually only get compliments when somebody wants something." Ash crossed her arms, smiling as she mirrored Sakura. "So do you really think I'm cute or do you just want something?"

Sakura couldn't help the chuckle that bubbled up as her tail swayed gently. "Both, Ash. But what I want can very much wait," she replied without hesitation and with a not so subtle glance as she appraisingly looked over Ashley's body once more before picking up Zorlo's things. "Well then, my cute Ash, since you seem to already have the requirements, I'll leave this section in your capable hands. Oh, by the way." She turned back a moment. "No need for the Captain Elantris stuff. Simply call me, Sakura. Okay, Ash?"

"Gladly, Sakura." Ashley watched the captain leave and licked her teeth once she was out of sight. "I guess I could get used to such loose regulations and dress code. Still, I wish I had something dryer to put on. Don't worry, I haven't forgotten about you." She said to the ship. Tools appeared in Ash's hands and she returned to repairing the primary systems so that she could switch back over from all of the secondaries. "How have you stayed alive this long?" She asked the empty room.

Zorlo shifted as Sakura emerged and looked at his things. "Much obliged," he told her, staring at the Ctarl Ctarl. "Anyway, I was wondering where our first destination would be?" the mage asked as he watched her carrying his sword and bag of possessions. "I have much to learn about this... outside... land thing, and I wish to learn as much as possible before I arrive among other people. How to act, speak and such," the Dalish stated with a smile as he moved towards Sakura. "Also, may I have my possessions back... please?" he asked, knowing of manners, and this word please seemed to fit well enough.

Zorlo looked at Leo and bowed his head. "An honor to meet you, Sir Leo. However, I must ask you two if I may... excuse... yes, that word seems right, excuse myself from your presence. I need to meditate some," the man said as the magical energy he had been turning inwards began to flow out of his muscles and relieved the strain the magical strengthening of his combat magic gave him. The man found some place where the others weren't, a somewhat difficult task to do, and placed his sword and bag against the wall and began to meditate. Hopefully they would be leaving soon. Once his mind was clear, he would have a better grasp of the universe.

A voice came over the intercom, "Hey Sakura, can you hear-" The speakers cut out, "me? Blasted older model compacts." Ashley set her wrench on her shoulder and started for the bridge. "Nobody knew what they were doing when they put these confounded menaces in. It's cables cause interference with other systems unless you strip the primary wire and reroute it through the auxillery weapon's distribution lines and then disable the buffer system, but then if those get hit you get all sorts of problems-" She arrives at the bridge, "We can take off at any time, the critical systems should hold for at least week, maybe less, so we should find somewhere to dock so I can give her a proper overhaul and find some replacement parts." Apparently having said her piece she turned around and continued her rant all the way back to the engine room. "but nobody felt like fixing that little issue after the bug was discovered, cursed politicians I'd like to strangle every last one of them, so we have to simulate a buffer by running an algorithm that dumps the excess into the core and hope we don't cause a meltdown because somebody wanted intercoms in their scout and they clearly couldn't be bothered to just shout or keep track of their people."

"Get some rest, tomorrow will be busy Serenity." Agatha spoke, gently putting the covers over her daughter's body. Serenity nodded, her eyes closing as she moved into a more comfortable position. Her mother was insistent on being cautious. That type of caution often made her worried that someone might ruin that fragile happiness. Still, it made her go to sleep easier when her mother spoke like that. It was always quiet, but the promise of work tomorrow gave some security.

Her dream began to form slowly, beautiful blue and purple flowers slowly forming as she walked what seemed to be a white path. Looking ahead, she noticed that someone was in the middle of the path. However, she had never seen this person before. Looking at him, she waited for something to happen or prove he was an illusion. "Excuse me..." Her voice came out softly. "Who are you?"

(Keeping this alive. :P)

The white-haired being looked around. As the image slowly went into focus, the oddly realistic nature made him almost shudder. Had it not been for years of conditioning from his training, such an oddity of the theoretical plane would have made him... uneasy. In the past, when he had meditated, his mind may have strayed into the paths of others, but this was different. The walls people built for their meditation weren't easily cracked... but he had simply appeared here... what did it mean?

As he took in the surroundings, the blue and purple field of flowers, he took a deep breath. The mage warrior had wandered into a dreamscape then, perhaps. But who's?

"Excuse me... who are you?" a meek voice came that made the man's focus shift. At first, the figure he was staring at was, much like the scenery when he first arrived, blurry... still, as he focused on her, the girl became fully manifest. "So..." Zorlo said, pausing. He knew kind of what was going on. He'd been drawn into a dream realm. One that was remote, at that. A number of these events made the unclear nature of where he was apparent and more reasonable to him.

The white-haired elf didn't speak at first as he looked at the beautiful, gray haired girl, but he did dispel his armor, leaving him only in his mage robes within the dream. He had no need for such unnecessary equipment in this realm. "I am... lost, I believe," he said, his voice slightly wandering. "How may I... help... you?" the elf asked, staring at the girl. He wasn't sure how to handle this, but he accepted that not talking would make this dream of hers exceedingly unrealistic... even for a surreal experience.

"Is this your garden?" he asked suddenly, attempting to maintain the image he was a figment within this dream.

"I don't know." Serenity spoke, sitting down in front of him. "There's something calling me. I want to go some place and yet..." She closed her eyes slowly, a symbol on her neck starting to appear. It looked like an intricate set of line that formed a choker on her neck. She didn't notice the symbol appearing her hands on her knees as she sat in front of him. The flowers began to grow taller, as if to push her past the man in some way. "Where do I want to go? Why do I want to go there?"

"I had a similar question today," the warrior said as he walked past the girl and sat down back-to-back with her. "I mean, everyone has those questions," the mage said as he shifted slightly. The symbols that had appeared on her... he had seen them before... and could even briefly understand them somehow. Perhaps it was the latent understanding of magic that existed within all creatures bound by magic. He never really knew for certain on that.

"In the boundless universe I just learned existed... I am being cast into the sea of stars that I had only assumed was empty mass... and today I learned that there are countless beings in existence. I am now being forced to leave my home as an exile with people I barely know... and know none of the customs of..." the man said, looking at the sky of her dream. He coughed and realized he had been sharing probably more than he should have. "I mean... perhaps that anecdote of a person... er... can help you?" he said, laughing nervously. Man he was bad at this.

"But I... I was born for a purpose." Serenity stood up slowly, the symbol slowly disappearing from her neck. "I was created for a purpose I still don't understand." The flowers disappeared, leaving the white path alone. She seemed to look towards him, a hand hesitating to touch his body in some way. She stopped, a smile forming on her face. "I apologize, but you should leave as soon as you can." She began walking again, her hands at her sides.

"Everything believes it is born with a purpose, miss," the man said with a smile towards her. "The gods created us in order to fulfill their desires, so perhaps we shall meet again," the man said, looking back at her once. "But..." he paused, stopping his thought for a moment as he rose. "You're right, I'm sorry to have intruded. I'm sure you'll find your purpose, as everyone does," the mage said as he took a few steps before pausing. He wasn't quite sure why, though.
