"STUDENT COUNCIL ELIMINATION FORCE??!! I was put first chair on that!" He was stunned, that was the only reason he was at this school

"Yeah, and Aelina, that girl that's all burned, is on it as well. As of now, I'm the most experienced, least dead of us. I'll show you how to deal with it. I was a well known demon hunter before I lost my right arm. Now I'm a well known demi-demon... or demi-human. Depends on what you want to call me. I kill stuff, that's about it. Anyway, you two are our new members, huh? We did lose a lot of folks last year... and you're a leader? What's your name, chief? If you're gonna be leading us, I need something to call you other than, 'hey guy.' And who're you, miss, and are you a member of our council?" he asked, inquiring. Luca was having a good year already.

"I just go by Gray," How could this have happened, he had absolutely no abilities, or ever good eyesight or hearing. Doomed from the start

Luca looked at the man as he seemed to pale. "Hey, boss, you okay?" he asked, laughing. "I'm Luca, by the by. I'm the muscle of our group. My strength and skill at killing things that get in my way is second to none. Most of all, this puppy," he said, holding the demonic arm up, "makes our job easier. Still, let's get ready for a battle. Hey, lady, can you help get him fitted for combat?" the demi-human asked with a hearty chuckle. "I need to wait for Aelina to heal and wake up. After all, she's woken up here alone a lot... I think it'd be good to see the only other member of the council from last year... not that she likely remembers me."

"No. I'm waiting here. If we're the council members, we need to all talk. I gotta find a way outta here after all."

A regenerator, interesting. "Well, you might want to remove" she pulled the arrow out and threw it into the hazardous materials bin. "this. Yuck. I don't think she would want to try and start a new fashion statement with that."

She sat back down in her chair. "Well, you were lucky enough to have met me today, I'm sure we can figure something out for you. I'm Jesabell. I guess I'll be making our fearless leader's dreams a reality." She pulled out her calculator and began crunching some numbers. "By the way, don't you think it would be best if I were the one here when she woke up. Take Gray here." She handed him a business card with her lab's room number on it. "Shoo shoo, both of you. Now." She held a finger over a button on her calculator threateningly.

Luca glared at the woman before flicking gray in the forehead with his human hand and sighing. "So our fearless leader is a punk, and our new techy is a witch... How nice to know," Luca muttered as he shoved Gray out the door. "Fine, but if she asks, I saved her. I wanted to be here to talk to her and get to know her better, but if you're gonna be a jerk about it, I'll take our defenseless friend with me," Luca said as he shoved Gray again and started towards the Lab Room she had sent them too. Using the card, the room opened and Luca whistled as he looked around. "Nice tech..." he stated with a smile. "Find some weapons and armor and stuff here, oh fearless one. Be fast about it. I want to check on Aelina."

Aelina continued shaking as Jesabell caught hold of the arrow in her eye and yanked. The frail girl yelped in pain as her eye slowly regenerated itself and her mind cleared up. Slowly, her eyes undimmed.

"Thank... you..." came Aelina's quiet reply after a moment as the Nurse cut the girl's bonds, her hair and skin slowly uncharring itself. "Good. You can finish the rest while I get you a uniform."

"Okay. Thank you..." Aelina replied quietly as she yanked the arrows from her body, a quiet gasp coming from her as she did so, tossing them into the trash. "How long have I been unconscious for...?" she asked.

"That was close." Jesabell said to herself as the boys left. Aelina's regeneration was pretty quick after that. "How long have I been unconscious for...?" "Unconscious. An interesting choice of words. But I'm not sure, it's like half past two, unless my clock's broken again, anyways Luca found you a few minutes ago and brought you here. You were pretty well charred." Jesabell pulled her bandana down and smiled at Aelina. "I'm Jesabell, by the way. I'll be on the student council thingamajig with you, Luca, and our leader a normal guy named Gray." She shrugged. "I'm a techie. The nurse is getting you a new uniform, I can have my HelperBots make you something else if you'd prefer. I'll take you to my lab to meet up with the others when you're dressed, assuming you want to go."

"Aren't we trying to prevent this kind of thing!" He didn't mean to say we but it came out anyways, "Fine, i'll make a bet with you, If I make it through this whole year without body armor or weapons, then you stop picking on me!"

"Prevent this kind of... did you read the charter we signed as member of the Council Elimination Force? You clearly didn't. Our job is to destroy, with extreme prejudice, any rogue elements at this school. But fine, I won't pick on you if you can survive on nothing but your wits and luck. Still, it's always a good idea to have some extra armor or weapons in case you get cornered by some douches trying to pick a fight. I've got my arm and a nice gun to protect me, but you don't," Luca said as he looked around at the Tech. "At least look around and see if you find something that peaks your interest. I can't return to that girl so quickly, after all. I'm sure she's got her reasons for sending us out... has to do with Aelina bein' nekked, methinks."

"Well that's not MY agenda! We can still pull this school out of this shitstorm!" Gray had no real reason for staying here. Except for some stupid bet, "And get those thoughts out of your head! If i'm the leader, which i probably shouldn't be, I can still weild the double edged broken sword of Mercy! But apparantly you can't. That makes you a liability!"

Aelina shook her head as she tossed the last arrow. "No... A uniform is okay. Thank you, Jesabell," replied in her quiet voice as the nurse came back and gave her the uniform before returning to the back. "It's nice to meet you, Jesabell. I hope we can remain friends," she continued as she changed behind a curtain before coming back out good-as-new. Even the cut lengths of her hair were returning to their former lengths. No wonder her hair was so long. "If it's not too much trouble... I'd like to go. I want to thank Luca for the trouble."

Luca looked at the boy and shrugged. "Come again? What the hell are you babbling about? WHat kind of strange, magical world do you live in? One with ponies and unicorns and fabulous double-rainbows? This is the real world, you punk! If you think that sentiments like compassion and mercy will prevent people from stepping on you like an insect, you're wrong! The only thing that matters in this place is strength. Whatever weapon, no matter how much we hate it, we must use to return this place to the right track. Petty idealism doesn't do that..." Luca took a deep breath and crossed his arms, looking back at Gray. "Sorry... I don't mean to get so mad... my emotional levels sky rocket as a side-effect of having this arm... Still, what are you talking about?" LUca asked with a sigh. "How am I a liability?"

For one of the first times in his life Gray obtained a burst of strength, He slammed luca into a wall and held his arm accross his neck, "Mercy is no weakness! It's a strength! If you help someone in their time of need they WON'T forget it! But if we're intent on saving somebody, and you step in and kill them over past actions YOU are the same as them If you step in on your own accord to strike down an enemy who has already given in. You're unreliable. YOU won't belong in this Council! That's why you're a Liability" He backed off of Luca, "You aren't even worth the trouble."

Luca laughed. "I like your conviction, kid. You win, I'll do things your way. COmpassion and mercy, huh. Been a long time since someone here said anything about that," the second year said. "Keep that enthusiasm and energy and you'll do fine. Now then, what's the plan, boss? Again, we can't just head back with you as is... that chick will be mad. So what's the plan?" Luca asked with a compassionate smile. He had seen what he wanted to see. The kind of spirit that he had hoped Gray had. THe kid would be fine yet.

When Gray slammed Luca into the wall the ceiling opened up as a mech was dropped down. It had a cannon on one arm and a sword in the other. Lights started blinking on, a glow emanated from the cannon, and the sword became red hot. It turned to face the two and pointed the cannon at them, a cannonball of magic shot out. Helper Bots will swarm out to repair any damage inflicted, so have a go at it, if y'all want.

Jesabell nodded and pulled her bandana back up. "I'm sure he wants to see you too. Just uh, I know you just kind of died back there, but do you think you could speak up a bit?" She began to lead Aelina to the lab. "By the way, random question, but does your hair continue to grow, or is it stuck at that length?"

Luca side-stepped the cannonball and raised his hands. "Yo, mr. robot, I give up. I don't want to waste my time fighting machines that could potentially be on our side. Your boss, the chick with the bandana, sent us to arm up the boss here," Luca said as he pointed at Gray. "He doesn't want any weapons or armor, so whatever works for him, right?" Luca asked as he braided his fingers along the back of his head with a laugh.

The shockwave from the Mech's landing caused Gray to trip and fall backwards, barely dodging the ball of Energy by a quarter inch. Talk about luck, if he hadn't been knocked to the ground, it would have hit him square in the chest. "What the HELL IS WRONG WITH THIS SCHOOL!!??"

"I don't know. Insane monsters and demons, zombies looking for their next meal, science experiments in the basement... Who knows what's really the cause, but it sounds like this is some kind of great place for a terrible movie or sitcom," Luca stated with a cackle. "Anyway, chief, so long as we don't make any sudden, or dangerous, moves, that robot shouldn't try to kill us," the man with the demon arm said with a laugh. This day had turned out to be better than he expected.
