Re: Shooting Star
The bloodied wounds from the snake bites vanished with the snakes as Zelos watched Pheles escape. "My god, what is wrong with-... wait a moment... did he say... a man who grants desires..." the former god said as he rested his index finger under his chin and looked thoughtful for a moment. "A man who can grant wishes? Does that mean... someone capable of conception has altered the world... somehow?" the green haired man asked as he leapt clean over Captain Bravo and landed on the other side of the sisters. "I can't jump to conclusions yet... I don't have enough information," Zelos said as he looked at the remaining group. "Hey, you, humans and filthy blood sucker, what did he mean, "the man who grants desires." Just by watching you I know none of you are... technically speaking, normal, so what are you?"

Hecate looked towards Erza, her hands at her sides. "Miss Phorkyas informed me. I know the names of those who stay in this place for any period of time. I was only asked to ascertain the truth about one situation. If you need anything, please let me know." She bowed her head a little, waving towards Tristan. She then proceeded to go back to the kitchen. As soon as she finished, she would go and get a book in the small library of documents. It wasn't exactly fun reading, but it was a way of entertaining at this place.

Remia merely shook her head at Hero's request. "Don't tell me you haven't realized? If you keep messing with him, he'll simply continue to talk and annoy you. Plus, by what reason should throw myself into the sun to fight at your behest?" she asked as Zorlo flew over and asked his questions.
"Why does everyone one look down on my sister?" Hijira asked as Remia chuckled.
"Do you mean figuratively, or literally, dear Hijira?" Remia said jokingly as she waved off her sister's concern. "But it's alright, sister. The ignorant can do nothing but be rude until they are educated," she stated as she watched Zelos passively. "We are all people that had declared a wish with a certain someone. That is all I feel the need to tell you."

"That is all I need to know," Zelos stated as he looked at her. "Now that I know that some prick has been answering wishes, it is likely I can solve what happened here," the man said as he nodded and looked at the vampire. "Anyway, since I don't have any further questions, I'm considering simply wiping you three off of this planet... but it would be a waste, since I know two of you aren't more than normal humans, aside from some small power I can smell. How about this... I'll fighting you, vampire, and see the strength of your conviction in that gauntlet of yours. I'm sure I'll recast my view of you once we've crossed weapons," Zelos said with a smile.
Dale looked at the manager and sighed. "Is it my turn to get on stage?" he asked in annoyance. THe manager simply nodded. "Fine-god-damn-ly," the man said as he moved onto the stage of the tavern. An odd disturbance, caused by a dispute in the area, had caused him to think of a song. He smiled. A nice light song to calm everyone down would be nice. THen he'd do other things... like set the mood. "I am Sex Bob-omb, and i'm here to rock your world!" the man said as he started playing music that, to normal people sounded very beautiful and relaxing. "Have you ever been real close to tragedy or folks that have! Have you ever felt a pain so heavy you collapse! Never had to knock on wood! Or know someone who has! It makes me wonder if I could! If I could!" He could tell people relaxing and start to dance to his song. Exactly the response he wanted.

"Interesting, thanks Hecate." She followed Tristan back to the table, carrying a tray of food, her winnings seem to have been disappeared or were somehow hidden in the folds of her clothes. "Obviously we don't want to play cards anymore, and frankly I'm tired. Nine to five or not, work's exhausting. Don't you boys agree?" She asked as the first smile since she got there appeared. "I'm Erza Starkes, by the way, who are you my blue haired assistant?"
He looked up at Pheles. "I am Captain Bravo and I seek no fame. Those who do shame their name." It seemed as though Pheles would leave now, so Captain Bravo went back to finish preparing his chicken, assuming nothing ran off with it while he had been busy trying to diffuse the situation. The fight between Zelos and Remia, if there was going to be one, seemed as though it would be mutual, so he did not feel compelled to intervene.

Remia simply looked as him and sighed. "My... so it actually has come to blows then. I guess it was to be expected, though. The ignorant can only express themselves in so many ways. Please, move away, Hijira," Remia said in response to Zelos' challenge.
Hijira started to protest when she noticed Remia reinforce her other hand with blood. Oh, right! Sister just recently fed, Hijira thought to herself as she nodded and walked back to join Bravo. "Please be careful, sister."
"I will, Hijira. Worry not," Remia replied as she smiled at Zelos, her eyes seeming to glow momentarily. "I assume you'll be using those blades of yours, correct? After all, it's well know even to the ignorant that bullets don't really work on Vampires."

Zelos laughed as he tossed his gun away and his legs began to glow as they transformed. Spinning quickly, a dagger flipped up and he slashed at the vampire, stopping the blade at the last second. Zelos smiled as he lowered his leg and quickly kicked again, this time slightly faster. "Show me your moves!" he said, smiling. He could tell this vampire would be a good fight.

Re: Shooting Star
My... he's a fanciful one, she thought as he stopped the blade short. But that was a mistake to show so much in your feint. When the real slash kick came, Zelos met with nothing at all as Remia 'hopped' just over the blade with her speed, a smile still on her face as she touched down and spun back, catching Zelos' returning swipe with her claws as she deflected the blade, and by extension his leg, high in a show of sparks. The entire exchange was barely 3 seconds long. "My, my. But you really can fight! I guess that means I can go on the offense now myself without guilt," she said as she leapt the next slash to spin a swing down with surprising force to meet another bladed foot with enough force to shake them both as he wings twitched and she shot back through the air to touch down again, ready.

Re: Shooting Star
Hero had no response to Reimu’s more… negative approach to his rude request, although he had no reason not to expected it, rather he picked up his shovel and sighed, ‘Can never ask a monster to do anything, can you?’ Although the congregation of this many wish makers was odd, even to him. He counted them off, ‘She wished for fangs…she wishes for weapons, and he wished for that suit, I think.’ He was just about to leave when the fight between Zelos and Reimu broke out. ‘This looks like something I must see… maybe I’ll fight the winner, the monster girl said she’s twenty-or something.’
Tristan laughed as she asked him his name. “Your assistant? I’m quite taken darling, but thanks.” Tristan said as he pointed to a wedding ring he held on his ring finger. “But you can call me Tristan; everyone else around here does so. And it’s a peachy name. And I can call you?”

Re: Shooting Star
Zelos landed and smiled. She was incredibly fast and strong for a vampire. "I'm impressed," said the former god as he stood on one leg, the blade on his other foot still ready for action, "but now I'm gonna fight more seriously," the green haired man said as his other leg transformed and he charged. To those watching, the first exchange was fast. The more human wish makers would have had a hard time tracking their movements if not for the sparks that erupted from their clashes. When the two stopped, the trees around them began to fall from huge cuts in them.
"impressive," Zelos said with a smile as the knives retracted and his legs returned to normal. "round two starts now," Zelos said as his arms emerged from beneath his cloak and transformed. Green blades erupted from his forearms as he smiled. Now they would really cross blades!

Re: Shooting Star
Remia smiled as she stood ready. The vampire barely seemed to be touching the ground as her wings moved lazily behind her. "So I was right. You really aren't Human. But you have made a wish. You've gotten my interests, Zelos," she said as a sheen traveled across her blood-gauntlets. They reinforced themselves at her will, remembering from his earlier show with Bravo. It was obvious that his attacks would be much harder likely as a trade for decreased speed. If that as mistake, however, had yet to be proved. Really, she wanted a taste of his blood. Not to feed, however, as she was still very satisfied from her earlier meal, but to learn. Everything had its own things to its blood. To a Vampire, blood was information.

"What the hell are you babbling about? What is this wish crap?" Zelos asked as he rushed forwards and slashed his blades. A flourish of movement echoed out into the forest as dull ringing as the two exchanged attacks. The former god was distinctly slower, but his movements and attacks were more precise and more powerful, actually knocking the vampire back a few times when they met. After one particular move, the two appeared on opposite sides from where they had been. Blood dripped down each of their cheeks as Zelos looked at the weapon. Lowering his blade, he licked the blood from his blade and smiled. HIs body felt... somewhat more alive. It was something like after he had eaten the monsters. Something changed... but he wasn't sure what. "Your blood... it made me feel more alive. Interesting... I wonder if this has something to do with this wish crap you're talking about."

Re: Shooting Star
"I wonder...?" she replied back vaguely as her face healed and she licked her claws. The power that surged from it came off of her gauntlets as a momentary crimson aura. Her eyes literally lit up a moment as she turned to look at Zelos. It was powerful, but limited. Strong, but fleeting. In other words... "Otherworldly. A high-end strength. My my... You are just full of surprises, aren't you?" Remia commented as she waited to see if he wanted to continue this affair or not. If it meant more blood from him, she'd continue.

The arm blades retracted as he looked at the vampire. "You and I both already know this fight is pointless... but now i have learned something of value. Perhaps I shall test this theory more when I find more monsters," Zelos stated as he picked up his gun and started to walk off. "If you still wanna fight, Jr.,' he said, looking at Hero, "have at it. I won't hesitate to simply snap your neck like a twig though," the green haired man said as he walked off.

Re: Shooting Star
Hero nodded and grabbed his shovel, “Are you a monster? I do not… You give me a different vibe.” With that, Hero nodded off to the green haired man and pointed once more at the vampire, “I’ll fight you next time we meet…if we were to meet again.” He tossed his shovel over his shoulder and walked off back in the direction he came.
Pheles flung his sledge in hammer in the air and caught it. “Those children all empowered. I recall in the first days, “Was I alone?” I wondered. However, if my theory is correct, killing a wish maker will make his wish defect. To find the child that changed the world, will make the Earth uncurled. To kill him where he stands, will make the world obey my commands! This plot of which I have theorized, will make my dreams realized.” With a hearty laugh he descended to the ground to walk once more.

Remia didn't need to reply as she turned and walked away. A pointless, but informative fight was over and it was time to move on. Fortunately, Hijira already seemed to know exactly what her older sister was thinking and by the time Remia had leisurely bounded back to the shady camp, a good deal of it was packed up. A that was the little things that Remia usually did and to head out. "My my... I wonder just how we suddenly became so popular today...?" the Vampire said to herself as she turned to Bravo, who was at the fire pit. "I trust that you'll put that out for us when you finish? There's also a bit more wood here if you need it before you finish."

He waved as they left.

((Yay post @.@ Moving the story along, ya know action and stuff.))
A large bluish white dragon flew over the museum, landing near it rear. It inhaled greatly, before shooting out a large gust of subzero winds. A man stood above it, and pointed towards the museum. “Kill it with ice! Freeze them to death for master Pheles!”
Tristan did not notice the temperature in the room dropping, nor did he notice the ceiling begin to freeze over, “So then, Miss Erza…if that is your real name, did you make a living off the cards before all this? Cause you’re really good at it.”

Re: Shooting Star
Dale heard the commotion, or to be more exact that it had ruined his set. Everyone stopped dancing for the moment as he stood up. he had noticed a number of people who were less or not at all effected by how powers gathered up and pondered for a moment. "What the hell is going on?" he asked as he walked towards them before hearing the odd screaming and noticing the ice building up around the building. "Folks, I do believe we're under attack," he said as he held his Lute tightly. "Things are about to head south, I think."
Zelos had found a place to create his resting place for the night. He was feeling somewhat tired, despite the fact his powers were resonating slightly louder. He just couldn't explain why it was that his powers were so alive and awake. "Something about that vampire's blood caused my powers to spark up... and after I ate those monsters before, I regained parts of my missing memory and knowledge of how to use that power... these things must have a connection... but what?" he asked himself as he looked at the sky. "That group kept babbling about wishes and some wish granter... could that have something to do with it? Is this whole travesty of a world a wish... or was the God of SPirit really bested by another God of Spirit and that's what changed this world? I can't tell..." Zelos stated as he rested his thumb and finger on his chin. "So many mysteries and so few answers..."

Re: Shooting Star
Thank you captain obvious. She thought to herself and began checking her weapons, running was quite probably the best course of action, but running straight out the front or the back was probably suicide. "Yes, Tristan, Erza Starkes really is my name and drop the Miss, it's the end of the world. I don't think we really need to stand on proper etiquette." She slapped the butt of a gun and chambered a round. "And you clearly did not have anything to do with the world of poker before this, otherwise you would have no need to ask that question. Do you have any weapons or any skill with a gun?"
Erza wasn't looking at Tristan, she was looking to see who was panicking and who was calm, trying to gauge who she should attach herself to in order to survive this apparently icy thing that was trying to kill them. Tristan seemed calm, but also a bit foolish. So he seemed to at best be a meat shield, Hecate had apparently had a wish granted however hers did not seem combat oriented, but she was still alive and so there was that in her favor. The bard it seemed had a gift for stating the obvious and that was actually more of a gift than most people realized, because sometimes you overthought things and ignored the obvious answer. Most of these others seemed to be unknown factors, or people she had decided already that she didn't like, and in this particular area there appeared to be no trained soldiers, just scavengers who had survived through sheer dumb luck and looking out for themselves and nobody else. Erza wasn't exactly a shining example of someone who would stick her neck out for others, but she didn't go out of her way to stab somebody in the back, especially when she could think of some use, no matter how miniscule, for them.
"Tristan, how many exits do you know of in this place, one in the basement would be preferable to the more obvious ones." Almost everyone else had fled the room for the nearest exit, and Erza finally stood a knife in one hand and a gun with a tiny underbarrel flashlight in the other, she was loathe to use the bullets and batteries, but she preferred that to dying by running into something that could spread ice like she could spread cards.
