"Is it necessary to know it in the situation you're currently in?" Hecate asked, washing some of the things she used with a wet cloth. She used water after cleaning off anything that was used. "I don't use my wish for everything. After all, the truth isn't always pleasant." She hand her hands together, hoping that she didn't have to try and use it on wish makers. It was impossible for her wish to be effective on them.

Hijira shook her head as she watched. "Actually, we have no clue as to who he is. He simply rushed us with a shovel while we were eating and my sister started to fight him off. But he seems less... enthusiastic ...to continue. I guess she wore him down or something..." she replied before realizing something. "Oh, right. I'm Hijira Seihou. It's nice to meet you," she finished, remembering he'd introduced himself earlier.

"Cheeky, aren't you?" Remia didn't move nor flinch as Hero swung at her. She only smiled as she raised a blood-gauntlet covered hand to simply catch the sharpened, semi-silver shovel, sparks flying as it happened. "Now now... It's not nice to lie, you know. But if you're hungry. I don't mind if you come eat. Provided, of course, you drop this pointless fight and stop attacking me as if you have a death wish," she said as she let go and dodged back to another shady spot.

"It's some chick with giant heels and Frank. She's got a gun trained on him, and he seems to be waiting for a chance to smack her over the head with a crowbar. Can you try please? I'll owe you one."

"It's bravo to meet you too Hijira Seihou.' He nodded to her and looked back at the fight. "No, I don't think it's quite that. But whatever she said to him does seem to have taken the fight out of him. But she hasn't been taking the fight seriously, at least not since the time I got here. She seems to be trying to stay in the shadows."

'I suppose I can do it. As long as this isn't a joke.' Hecate rinsed off the dishes she had cleaned, putting them into the cupboards. She followed the boy out of the kitchen and to the two having an argument. She had a hand on her glasses, uncertain of when she should take them off. She had a feeling only one of them could be effected by her wish.

Erza sat back down and raised an eyebrow st Hecate's approach. Her gun still trained on Frank. The glasses seemed a bit out of place, but she couldn't quite place why. She did like this new girl's heels though. Frank was starting to sweat and was gripping his crowbar tightly. The kid raised both hands palms front, appeasingly. "When she tells you to just give your side of the story, okay?"

Is this girl a walking lie detector or something? That could be difficult to play against. She waited for the go from Hecate, "My two eights were the real ones from my deck. So at least two of his four have to be fakes he added to his hand." Frank snarled, "The whore's lying, she must have put six eights in her deck so that she could accuse people of cheating when she loses." Erza was very near to shooting him just to shut him up and be rid of the lech's annoying voice.

Hecate removed her glasses when she began to hear the sides of the story. She focused on the voice of one person and found this wasn't a wish maker. The other seemed normal too. The voice of the woman seemed to be well in with the truth. Her body position was perfectly fine, though a bit defensive about something. There was no way this woman could be lying. The other, however, seemed to be far too defensive. The voice octaves rose higher and the hand holding his crowbar was far too willing. She closed her eyes. "Miss Erza is telling the truth." She placed her glasses on and turned around, walking towards the kitchen again.

Tristan watched in amusement as everyone showed their hands, he knew that one of his buddies cheated at cards, but for so many of them to have such amazing hands, he was positive that more people than he knew cheated. Then the girl was suddenly calling someone out. 'This is where people get pissed.' Suddenly in a burst of bravado she pulled out her guns and told her to collect her winnings. "Sorry guys, but it's kind of necessary I do what the girl with the gun says." After handed her the winnings, she asked him if there was a merchant, which honestly made him chuckle, "Newbies always make it known that they're new, eh? No, no, that's rude of me. The only rule here is trade. And not many of us actually have things to trade. Just meals, and speaking of which, mine is getting cold." On the way to his food he saw the boy with Hecate, which meant that the real show was about to begin. "Dammit, but I'm hungry. Oh well, they won't hurt Hecate, well, the old fellows won't..." Tristan said thinking to himself, remembering that the girl was new.

Hero couldn’t fight this girl, but he really wanted to, she was skilled, but at the same time, she wasn’t a real vampire, she was just a kid. Could Hero call himself a Hero and beat up little kids? Could Hero keep up with this kid? He knew vampire powers didn’t work on him, but her speed wasn’t working on him, and nor were those gauntlets. Plus she had one or two very human friends.
"Now now... It's not nice to lie, you know. But if you're hungry. I don't mind if you come eat. Provided, of course, you drop this pointless fight and stop attacking me as if you have a death wish," Hero’s face stood emotionless as she called out his obvious lie. “How do I trust you? Last girl I met was a werewolf.” Hero said readying not only himself, but his shovel for another strike.

“EXACTLY!” A voice shouted from what seemed to be above. “Well, only when speaking matter-of-factually.” The man wore a bright red blazer and seemed hurt. “You know, it seems unfair.” He said revealing his sledge hammer, “I made a wish but no one seems to care. It only works on monsters I swear!” He pointed to Hero, “But boy, in my eyes, where you stand, I only see ashes there! And as for the vampire! Why can you stand in a blaze of fire?” He looked toward Captain Bravo and Hijiria, “And as for the man and woman. They seem to suffer nothing from my heinous plan!” Hero looked at him and dropped his shovel, “I can’t do this…” “Why not my young lad? She’s only a child, and not even iron clad! There’s nothing she can do to stop my sledge. I shall take her from off this world, this to you I pledge!”

Zelos watched as the group of people squabbled. Something about vampires and other crazy stuff. These fights seemed inane, but still, he couldn't look around. "I can't believe the stupidity of mortals. Does noone seek the restoration of the old world... or being a god?" Zelos asked angrily. Still, the flames and ashes... something was off about it... "What in the world is really going on here?" Zelos asked as he stepped forwards and rested his gun on his shoulder. Moving quietly, he watched as they remained there. Still... the small amount of his godly power he had regained... inexplicably to him... told him that things were not as they seemed. "Is this an illusion...?" the man asked as he pointed his gun at the group, not sure what action to take...

Hijira looked around a moment before looking back to Pheles, walking toward her sister while doing so. "Umm....Who are you? And what are you talking about? I don't see any ashes or Flames..." she said as Remia laughed.

"I see!" Remia laughed as the wind brought Pheles' scent to her nose. It had that quality to it. The same quality shared by Hero, Hijira, and Bravo. "It seems that there's more to our mad rhymer than meets the eye. Oh, and one more thing. I'd prefer if you refrain from calling me a child. I'm the Elder sister, you know and I'll be 22 soon as well," Remia stated as Hijira giggled, but nodded in agreement. "But enough of that. Do you think that you'll really be able take me down with that over-sized piece of Metal?" she asked as stepped forward to the edge of the shade. That's about when she noticed Zelos appear. "My my... We have even more guest it seems. Our camp's been in one place too long."

Pheles sighed and looked at the new arrival “A newcomer should up, and challenges us with a dare?” He glanced into Zelos’s eyes, “I’m not sure if you’ve noticed that snakes have replaced your hair.” "Umm....Who are you? And what are you talking about? I don't see any ashes or Flames..." Hero moved out of the way, cursing himself as the rhymes drove him mad.“I am the great destroyer Pheles! Does my crimson coat and rooster feather not tell this?” "It seems that there's more to our mad rhymer than meets the eye. Oh, and one more thing. I'd prefer if you refrain from calling me a child. I'm the Elder sister, you know and I'll be 22 soon as well," Pheles merely shrugged. “I’m afraid I can’t take on your request. You see, it’s monsters that I most detest. And do not mock my diction, I’ll assure you I’ve gained this talent through my strong conviction. Also twenty-two is still the age of a child to me, for I am a man of near forty-three.” He raised his sledge hammer and thrust it at the elder sister, “There will be no escape now! So I ask that you please fall silently while I take my bow.” She had space to retreat, but Hero picked up his shovel. “Shut up! I’m sick and tired of the rhymes! I’ll knock your block if you don’t shut it.” Pheles chuckled and retreated back, “I feared this the most! An attack from both sides is not a status for one to boast.” Hero rushed at Pheles with his shovel, but Pheles side-stepped him. “I admire your spirit. If you join my team you’ll need not fear it.” His sledge hammer swung right in front of Hero and he rolled back. “I should have wished for no rhymes.”

"Don't complain, we don't have the time," Zelos stated as he closed his eyes. He knew that the snakes were an illusion... but their bites felt REAL! It hurt, but Zelos merely took a deep breath as he rushed forwards and moved just out of what he had assumed the maximum range of the hammer was. Pointing his gun at Pheles, he smiled. "Not both sides... three sides. You attacked me without just cause... I might as well shoot you to death here," Zelos stated with a smile as his left arm began to show signs of green lines running down from his elbow.

"Not three, but Four!" Hijira said as she came around to Pheles' other side, a good distance from his Hammer's range, as she brandished a number of throwing knives in each hand. "If you want to hurt my sister, that my enemy as well!" Hijira declared as she readied herself to throw.

Remia laughed as well. "Well, my old-timer rhymer, it seems indiscretion had left your ally zone bare. Maybe you should leave before we leave you in disrepair," Remia said as she nails reinforced themselves with her blood.

"There you see?" Erza holstered her gun and took her winnings from Tristan. It was annoying that nobody around here was an actual merchant, but she shouldn't have been surprised, most places didn't which meant any deals she brokered would probably be well in the other person's favor. "Right, guess I'll just ask around after- wait, how did she?" She walked hurriedly after Hecate and put a stalling hand on her shoulder. "Hey, how did you know my name?"

Captain Bravo turned his chicken once more before pulling them off the fire. He wasn't sure what to do in this situation. His wish was to protect peole, but he didn't know who needed his protection in this situation. There were five people against one guy, admittedly the one guy had started the fight and wanted to kill a girl. Still, his Bravo Senses told him it might not be unfair due to numbers. He walked over to the group and took a place between Pheles and Remia. "Bravo on your convictions. A lone man who stands against many is Bravo, but standing by your family against a powerful foe is Bravo as well. Let this be enough for one day, besides you're already injured, and fighting someone with an edge like that is no Bravo."

"That's it, the guy who keeps saying bravo is dead," Zorlo stated as he turned his gun towards Captain Bravo. "I don't care about any of that crap, but your voice and the your way of talking is more annoying to me than the dumbass rhyming and the fact that he created some kind of strange illusion of snakes replacing my hair or some crap. Say bravo one more time, and I'll shoot you enough times that you'll be useful as a fountain in a courtyard," Zelos threatened as he prepared to fire. "Say it one more time, you super-hero wannabe. Killing you will be more than rewarding," the green haired man said as his left arm continued to show signs, very slightly thanks to it being hidden under his cloak, of green lines extending from his elbow. His left index finger rested on the trigger. "After all, I'm not currently bound by any preternatural laws, so killing humans isn't a problem," Zelos stated, realizing they wouldn't have any idea what he meant.

"I see." Captain Bravo put his hands in the air and moved so that nobody would get caught in the crossfire. "You are simply looking for an excuse to use that and prove that you are not weak. That is a poor reason, no Bravo." His hand dropped as he took a Bravo Martial Arts stance.

Zelos sighed as he lowered his gun and continued to ignore the biting of the illusionary snakes on his head, even though physical wounds on his head had started bleeding. "It's a waste of time to attempt to reason with you 'messiah' people. Gotta make sure everyone is safe and every fight is fair. No sense in wasting bullets on you... I have the odd feeling my toy here couldn't hurt you anyway... I'm not sure what's going on in this world," Zelos said as he raised his gun, "but I'm more than willing to test my theory. Can bullets hurt you?" Zelos asked as he pulled the trigger as three bullets rushed towards Bravo.

"I'm sure that was an enormous waste of my time and ammo, but if he keeps saying bravo, I'm not sure what else I can do but attempt to shoot him," the former god mused to himself.

The bullets crumpled upon striking Captain Bravo and they fell to the dirt, but Bravo himself seemed altogether unphased and declared. "Bravo Defense. Bravo Rush!" I'm sure you can figure out what a Bravo Rush entails. He has the unfortunate habit of declaring his attacks before making them.

Zelos' eyes narrowed as he dropped his gun and moved his arms. He caught the man of impregnable defense with his hands, finally revealing the green lines running down them from his elbows. "You've very strong... but you're a bit loud..." Zelos' arms transformed into his god arms. A slit ran down his arms between his index and middle fingers. The green haired man continued to slide as he attempted to stop the well defended man, but to no avail. "To the twisting nethers with this," the former deity said as his arms returns to normal and his legs transformed. Blades erupted from his heels and slowed the charge down until the two finally stopped.

Even though they had stopped, and Zelos' legs turned back, the warrior couldn't help but be impressed. "You're like the monsters... only stronger. What the hell... humans never had powers like this before... what in the hell is going on?" the warrior asked as he side-stepped and ran quickly, recovering his gun. Zelos' quickly turned and leapt backwards with inhuman speed, launching himself into a high branch in the tree. Breathing heavily, the green haired man let out an exasperated sigh. "What in the world is going on in this world?" he murmured. Humans had never had these powers... so where had they come from... and what did this crap all mean?

((Yes, fear the Bravo Martial Arts.))
"You know when you cannot win, Bravo." He turned his back on Zelos, the gunbunny had taken his attention off Pheles and the others and he wanted to make sure nobody had killed each other while he was distracted.

((0= A Sledge hammer versus throwing knives, a gun, a shovel, and blood gauntlets. Seems fai- no, not really.))

“A fight of four by one is surely no fair, and to mock my diction leaves me in a state of disrepair. I attack not without cause, for in this world I trust not even Santa Claus.” Pheles dropped his sledge and raised his arms. “I’m not fool however. I retreat for now, but you children cannot be together forever. To the boy with the shovel and purple eyes. You emotions shall be your demise. To the girl who holds many weapons, they’ll turn on you someday and become talons. For the man with green hair-” Hero rushed at Pheles, but he began floating in the air. “You’ve interrupted my speech, stripped them bare. But for the little vampire a girl-” Luckily Captain Bravo stepped in and honestly, evened out the playing field. “This world is surely in a whirl. But this is a gift from the man who told me magic was a lie, though he provided me a feather to fly! The man of steel, I knew Superman was real!” “Shut up!” Hero grabbed Pheles’s sledge and threw it at its owner. “I feel this may not be your forte, but your spirit reminds me of the great Don Quixote.” Hero grabbed his hair as Pheles caught his weapon. “A gift from a man who grants desires. I fear he knew what he was doing when he put out my fires.” He snapped his fingers and Zelos’s hair returned to normal. “Even though the field is now the same, I fear a fight was not why I came. Man of steel I ask you your name, if you join my group you will be rewarded with fame!” "Vampire girl! Go up and kill him!" Hero said pointing at Reimu.

Tristan laughed as he approached the two lovely ladies,
"Haha, you seem baffled by Hecate's powers! She can find the truth, no matter what it is. So long as she's not wearing those glasses." He smiled and passed Hecate and Erza by back on the way to his table, "Don't test her though, it's not pretty!"
