I know there's a similar accessory to the Demon Safe Shoes you can get by doing the Bike Missions but I never did them in Vol 2 and therefore, don't know if I can do them in Vol 3.
You can't get that accessory anymore D: But don't be disappointed at all, it's similar but only in the Speed boost, and only useful in Vol. 2. What makes Demon Safe Shoes "awesome" is the hiding-from-enemies ability, which the accessory in Vol. 2 didn't have (i think it was called Biker's Charm). So even if you had gotten it, it wouldn't be useful in FoP, whether your idea was to fight enemies or run.
But I'm glad to hear they aren't necessary, especially after the guide I read online went on and on about "srsly demon safe shoes are the only way you're going to beat FoP" and I was like "............. what". But I figure it shouldn't be too hard with Haseo, Atoli, and Zelkova at level 150 with maxed Lost Weapons.
lol, What a failure of a guide :P I just hope it wasn't Zer0's guide...and i'm definetly sure it can't be a guide from Master ZED, no way XD
At Level 150, FoP won't be difficult until like Floor 70 or so, and even so, it'll just be a small change of pace and as long as you know how to play the game properly, you won't have any trouble. Though i see you still trust in the Lost Weapons...and you see, they aren't exactly good weapons for everyone...for Atoli, it works, but for Haseo, there's FAR BETTER weapons you could use, same for people like Endrance and Pi >~>' If you want, you can keep the Lost Weapons and go through FoP, and you'll still beat it easily, but if you really want the strongest equipment, and not just the crappy equipment that the game and crappy guides follow you to use because they're "LIEK OMG THE RAREST WEEPUNZ!!!", here are some tips:
-The highest-level weapons Haseo can get (Spin Nezumi, Broad Dowan, Scythe Dakini), alchemized to +5 using your Guild's abilities, are WAY stronger than any Lost or Rarity 5 weapon, even Silad though Silad is still good. Also, you can use certain customizable items to make them even more powerful....shouldn't be hard for you to find items that add All Damage +25% or Critical +50%, and as you go through Forest of Pain, you'll learn to love the "Nil" items you'll find there.
-For armor, the highest-level armor customized to +5 with World Mirror (avoids all status changes, like Poison) and Indulgence (turns damage into GP) are the best choices....the latter as long as you have GP of course. But with Zelkova, it's not a problem...he'll be freaking immortal.
-For accessories, look for the Skill Candle, which gives the ability of Skill Boost. Together with the strongest weapons, it makes your attacks the strongest they can be.
And also, know that skills such like Chaotic Strike, Shell Breaker and Heavenly Wheel are the strongest skills in the same, superior to the Lv3 Arts such like Armor Break and Reaper's Dance (though Reaper's Dance spiffy animation can't be beaten)...in fact, Heavenly Wheel is the strongest skill Haseo has, as it inflicts the most damage in just a few seconds. And Beast Awakening is the strongest awakening too, not Avatar Awakening....while Avatar Awakening does like 2000-3000 damage at best, you can do almost the same damage with just Heavenly Wheel, and there's also the rest of your team attacking, and you using other attacks...you can inflict over 8000 damage in one Beast Awakening, provided the enemy survives enough XD
