Re: Class of heroes
((Sorry about my huge lack of posting))
Even with a map, Saber usually got lost, now Saber was in an area of the school without a map, searching for Nephilim’s room, and he did not know her room number. He was searching for a needle in the world’s largest haystack. “Maybe I should knock on a door or something? That would…er…I don’t really know anyone though.” Saber approached a door, struggling with himself as to whether or not knock on the door when a blond-haired felpier approached him. “Hey, you’re in my homeroom right?” Saber turned to face the girl who sat before him in homeroom. Saber never got her name, because he never actually paid attention in class. Also, he was a teenage boy with a pretty girl sitting in front of him, thoughtlessness was an inevitability. “U-Um…yeah. M-my name’s Saber F-Fl-Flynn-Flynn.” “That’s cool, my name is Quinn.” She smiled and looked around, “It looks like you’re lost, may I help you?” Saber nodded and tried to think of his words before he spoke. “I-I’m looking-looking for a celes-um…a-a celestial gir-girl. Her-her name is-her name is Neph-Nephilim-Her name is Nephilim...” Quinn giggled at Saber’s embarrassment. “Relax, I don’t bite.” Saber nodded, “And I’m sorry but I don’t know a celestial named Nephilim.” “S-She has b-big pink wings!” “Oh her, I think her room is upstairs!” She nodded and signaled for Saber to follow her. Saber of course followed, but this time on foot. “So why are you "looking" for her this early in the morning?” Quinn said leading, however, Saber didn't catch it. “I have a ques-question-I have a question.” “Okay.” Quinn nodded once more and the two commenced the search upstairs.
Quinn did some investigating for him, and found out where Nephilim’s room was. She left him in front of Nephilim's room and waved goodbye, letting him know where her room was, and assuring him that he could go there if he ever had a question.
“Hey Nephilim!” Saber said as Reimu, Trafalgar and Nephilim approached her room. “I have a quick question if you don’t mind. Oh and hey Trafalgar and friend!”

Re: Class of heroes
((Sorry. I got distracted with real world stuff.))
"Yes. Reimu Hakurei. Nice to meet you," Reimu replied. It had been a while since she left Gensokyo, but she hadn't imagined that there would be places quite like this still out here.
“Hey Nephilim!”
"Oh! Hey Saber!" Nephilim called back with a wave and smile as the group came up to her door. "A question? Sure, I don't mind. Why don't you come in with us?" She replied a she opened the door and walked in. The inside of her room wasn't really anything special, if you ignore the fact that about 60% of her room was pink and the rest was bathed in pinkish light from her curtains. It was a single room, so there was only a single, large bed with pink, flower patterned covers. On the night stand, there was two pictures in pinkish frames. The first was a group of girls: Nephilim and Reimu; two cat-girls, both two-tailed; two blonde girls, one with a broom and psuedo-witch's attire and the other holding a grimoire with a doll sitting on her shoulder; a black-winged girl with long, black hair and what appeared to be a brown control rod on her right arm; and finally, a blonde nine-tailed Fox-girl in white and purple.
The other picture only bore four people. Nephilim sat on a chair in the front with her sister hugging her from behind with a smile. Though she had long, pink hair instead of Nephilim's shorter pink hair and her eyes were a much brighter, more vivid red while her wings were white with black, circular symbols. She looked to be the same age as Nephilim. Their older brother stood to the left, his eyes, hair, and wings all red instead of pink and he bore two swords on his back, near his hips. On the right was their mother. She was like an older, long-haired version of Nephilim down to the gentle smile and kindness in her eyes. "So, what did you want to ask, Saber?" Nephilim asked as Reimu dropped the packages on the bed.

I wonder what he could be wanting to ask her. "Yo, Saber." He nodded a greeting, picked up one of the pictures with his tail and sat down beneath a window. I guess pink is her favorite color. Trafalgar raised the picture to eye level to look at it. It was the one of Neph, Reimu, and the six girls. Her friends from back home? "Hey, Reimu, could you come here for a moment." He gestured with one hand, "Hm, okay. What do you want? "Nothing much, just a hand." When she extended her hand to him he grabbed it and pulled her down onto his lap, wrapping his arms around her to keep her still. "I was wondering what you could tell me about these people." He said as he pulled up the photo for her to see. In a quieter voice, "And I'm not sure, but I think Saber might want some measure of privacy for his question. I could be wrong though." Trafalgar shrugged.

Re: Class of heroes
Reimu squirmed at first before stopping. It was useless you fight against his strength and since she had ways to get away, she figured she'd stay put for the moment. "I see. You could've gave a bit of warning though," she said dryly as she caught hold of the picture to look at it. She remembered this. It was the picture they'd taken the last time Nephilim was Visited. They couldn't get everyone together at the time, but Nephilim accepted this, saying it was more then plenty. "Yeah, sure. These two here," she pointed to the brown-haired Cat-girl and the Nine-tails, "are Chen and Ran Yakumo. Yukari was off sleeping at the time, I believe, so it was just them that day. Chen is Ran's Shikigami and Ran is Yukari's Shikigami, though Chen isn't all that powerful, Ran's very strong, especially when Yukari's nearby.
This," she pointed to the girl with the broom and witch's hat, "is Marisa. She and Mima are the ones that helped teach Nephilim most of her Spell Cards. I don't know if you've seen any yet to know what I mean though, but Marisa's got the perfect Cards for when it comes time to wipe something out," she finished with a smile. She moved on to the next. "The one next to Marisa is Alice," Reimu continued, pointing at the girl with the Doll and Grimoire. "She's a Master puppeteer, capable of commanding vast numbers of her dolls at once and fighting with them in battle. She's a bit of a loner, but she's stronger then she puts off."
"And these two," she pointed to the other, red-haired Cat girl and the black-winged girl, "are Rin and Utsuho. They regulate the fires of the old Hell that's under Gensokyo, though it's gotten much easier since Utsuho swallowed an old Yatagarasu and gained control of 'the ultimate power'." Reimu paused a moment as if remembering something. "Now that I think of it... I think Nephilim's sister did something similar a while back."

Trafalgar shrugged at Reimu's admonishment. "I could have warned you, but I doubt very much we would be in the position we are now." Spellcards, that's what she used last night, isn't it? And those other two are managing Old Hell. Not to mention whatever it is her sister did. Nephillim has some scary friends. "Given the resumes you just rattled off, I doubt very much I could hold you if you wanted out." He released his grip, although his arms otherwise remained where they were. "So, when I'm not learning to ranger I'm a blacksmith/mechanic. What does Reimu do when she's not visiting her friends?"

"A question? Sure, I don't mind. Why don't you come in with us?" “Well no, it isn’t a very er…” Saber wasn’t quick enough in his response, and the four walked into her room. "Yo, Saber." Saber nodded once more in acknowledgment. “Holy pink-” Saber thought aloud when he entered the radiant room. It was much more decorated than his, but luckily Nephilim broke his thought and brought him back to the matters for which he arrived. "So, what did you want to ask, Saber?" “Oh, I just wanted to know about those Thaumaturge scrolls! Since most things are closed in the school, I don’t want the risk of not having the nurse open if I’m busted up, I’m trying something new! It’ll be a bang!” Saber said with obvious pride in his abilities.

Re: Class of heroes
Zorlo stopped to look around as he was within the labyrinth. It had required getting through some unprepared guards, but that had worked out all in all. Zorlo now found himself staring down an odd, clearly man-made structure. The odd structure had been built within the Labyrinth, but seemed mostly empty. Zorlo entered the open area and noticed it was set up slightly like a prison yard. "I see..." the Erdgeist said as he turned around and stood face to face with Zachary. "Its good to see you again," the green haired man said as his beam rifle appeared.
A shot rang out from the distance as a bullet ripped through the energy pack of Zorlo's rifle and caused it to explode. Zorlo stepped back as the scrap that was his beam rifle hit the ground and he turned to face the pink haired woman who held a sniper rifle. "It... can't be..." Zorlo said as he looked at Scarlet. "But you... you were..."
Scarlet laughed to the side of her hand and smiled. "Zorlo... it's good to see you again. I'm happy," she said, smiling as she neared.
The green haired man took a step forwards. He paused as he looked at her. "How is this possible? I... I killed you..."
Scarlet smiled as she looked at Zorlo. "You did... but they reengineered me. They brought me back... to continue fighting. That man realized that we need you. Your strategies and my strength... we can rebuild our tribe and conquer the Junkyard."
Zorlo paused. "I'm sorry... I cannot. I've lost my need to fight the war. I have no interest in the Junkyard anymore... and..." Zorlo paused as he thought of Nephilim. "I have a promise I must keep."
Scarlet sighed. "I understand..."
Zachary turned towards Zorlo as his Atma mark on his right arm began to shine red. His right arm transformed as the back of his hand began to glow as claws erupted and filled the zone between his fingers. "It is time I showed you the strength of our conviction!" Zachary said as he drew his arm back.
"Conviction about what?! What are you talking about?!"
Scarlet chuckled. "The truth," she stated plainly.
"I'm not sure what 'truth' you seek, but if I can defeat you, I'll get you to tell me what you're talking about!"
"I hope I don't kill you with this first attack, otherwise this will be boring!" Zachary said as a powerful burst of heat erupted from his hand as he fully transformed into a large, red, two headed creature. "Let's go, Zorlo!" Zachary said as his right arm began to heat up again.
"I'll show you my strength!" Zorlo said as his Power Gauntlet formed and Zorlo drew his left arm back. "Let our fingers clash and reveal the truth of your 'conviction'!"

Reimu shook her head. "Nope. You definately couldn't have. If I wanted out, that is," Reimu agreed as she looked at the picture again. Had it really been that long...? "Me? I'm just a shrine maiden, though I've ended up becoming the main incident solver when things go wrong," she replied casually. "It's a pain, but I guess it needs to be done."
"Scrolls..? Oh!" Nephilim had nearly forgotten. "I would love to, but I don't have any one's left anymore..."
"And that's where I come in," Reimu said as she vanished to appear next to Nephilim's bed. "This is a package your mother asked me to bring you, Nephilim," Reimu finished as she handed one of the packages to Nephilim. When she set it down and opened it, her eyes lit up. It was full to the brim with several small scrolls and in the center of them was a small, octagonal wooden block with the eight trigrams printed in a circle on its front around a small hole. It as small enough to easily fit in the palm of Nephilim's hand. "Is that...?!"
"Yes! Mom finished it!" Nephilim said happily as she jumped for joy. "Mother finally finished making a Hakkero for me!" she finished as Reimu paled a little, but smiled nonetheless. Nephilim turned back to Saber, holding a good number of them. "Please, take as many as you need. It sounds like you'll need these more then I do, Saber," she finished, handing him seven or eight.

Trafalgar laughed, "Incident solver indeed." Hakkero, sounds familiar. Was it from one of grandfather's stories? And she doesn't look too excited about it. He got up to his feet, walked over behind Reimu, and put a hand on her shoulder. "You'll have to show us when you've finished it, Saber. In the meantime, you want to join us for breakfast?"

James went to his computer then opened certain files, "opening classified files, authorization accepted" those very words appeared before him on the screen, he then began sifting through ordo xenos files on how to combat erdgeists, then a certain file caught his attention, "Erdgeists: demigod like species that inhabit artificial bodies,(no relations what so-ever to necrons) Erdgeists are primarily skilled with machinery and normally dont pose any sort of threat, however precautionary measures stated by imperial proclamation 40 also known as the imperial defense act permitted to combat threats against the imperium have allowed the effort to fight xenos threats, Erdgeists are psychic blanks so the simple use of psychic weapons would without a doubt cause considerable damage to its mind while regular weapons can whittle down their bodies, sonic frequencies can also shut them down along with EMP based weapons" with that information James smiled triumphantly and went to get something from his trunk.
Re: Class of heroes
"This hand of mine is burning red!"
"This hand of mine shines with an awesome power!"
"Its loud roar tells me to grasp victory!"
"Its burning grip tells me to defeat you!"
"Erupting Burning!"
"Shining!"
"FINGER!"
As the two finished their chant, Zachary unleashed a massive wave of heat from the palm of his hand that quickly clashed with a golden waves of light energy from his hand. The heat energy easily overwhelmed Zorlo's Shining Finger, pushing so far back that Zorlo's glove began to spark and partially melt from the intense heat.
"Not good... but I won't be defeated! Nu System, Enhancement Mode!" Zorlo yelled as the Funnels attached themselves to his glove and fanned out their six wings into an almost circular style fashion. Energy poured from the barrels into the gauntlet, allowing Zorlo's Shining Finger to push Zachary's Burning Finger back a bit.
The green haired Erdgeist stepped forwards, pushing the burning Finger back further. "Impressive. You modified your little toys to deal with me. So then you saw the power of my burning finger... not that it matter..." Zachary said as his body began to glow red again. Suddenly, a massive amount of energy rushed into his hand and a second burst of heat energy erupted forwards, overwhelming Zorlo and pushing the Shining Finger, and Zorlo attached with, backwards. "Heat End!" Zachary said as the heat energy that had rushed to the glove exploded and shot Zorlo into the nearby chain-link fence.
Zorlo slid down the fence until he was only being held sitting up by the fence. His glove and funnels quickly sparked violently as he tossed the now useless weapons away. A number of small explosions rang out as the weapons were completely engulfed in flames before leaving nothing left of what they had been.
"Not yet..." Zorlo said as he stood up and formed his dual beam-sabers in his hands. "Not yet..." Zorlo stated firmly, pushing himself to his feet. "I'm not done yet!"
"Bring it on, then!" Zachary roared as Scarlet rested her hand on the red-haired Erdgeist's shoulder.
"Turn back... you used a lot of energy at once. You're losing control..." she said as she gave Zachary a scornful look.
"Fine, fine," the fire Erdgeist responded as red lines starting from where his tattoo had been on his right arm extended as he transformed back into his human form and scoffed.
"It's my turn, Zorlo. Are you ready?" Scarlet asked as pink lines extended from the brand upon her chest as she transformed. Her right arm extended into a spiked whip as she smiled. "Let's see if you've improved!"
Elsewhere:
In Nephilim's room, a loud, blaring siren filled the air. "Warning, warning!" said a mechanical voice as a yellow circle with the word "caution" written across it formed from the device that Zachary had given Nephilim. "Warning, Warning!" the machine repeated. "Now Engaging Renegade Zorlo. I repeat..." the Machine said as it started it's warning again.

Re: Class of heroes
When the siren and yellow cautions filled the air inside the room, both Reimu and Nephilim paled visibly, their eyes widening in horror at they turned to each other. It wasn't until the verbal warning that the two let out the breath they hadn't realized they were holding. "Oh thank god..." Nephilim said as sat down, the device Zachary gave her appeared in her hand. "I really thought she was here for a moment."
"I don't know what that is, but I already don't like it," Reimu said with a relieved facepalm as the warning replayed itself. "So, who the hell is Zorlo?"
"A good friend that I made out here. I guess... This means he's in trouble, but I have no real way to figure out where he is. I haven't even seen him since last night... I hope he's okay..." Nephilim said as the warnings died down and Reimu pat her shoulder.
"I think he'll be fine. If he rated such a ridiculous warning, he must be strong, right?" Reimu replied as she handed Nephilim the other package. "Here, I got this from someone decked out in armor that was looking for you."
"I don't know what that is, but I already don't like it," Reimu said with a relieved facepalm as the warning replayed itself. "So, who the hell is Zorlo?"

Trafalgar walked over to the window and pulled aside the curtain so that he could see without the pink interference. "That fool. He got the crap beat out of him just last night and now he's gone and gotten himself into another fight." A low rumbling roar, that changed pitch twice before fading, was heard across the campus, surprisingly quiet given the range. Those who can understand drake know that it was a name, Trafalgar. He let go of the curtain and headed for the door saying, "Sorry to cancel our breakfast plans like this, but I have to go attend to something."
The roar emanated from a middle aged drake, a couple of inches shorter than Trafalgar, with short brass hair, dressed in brown pants, and carrying a hammer taller than himself with his left hand, the head was covered by a brown sack. He knocked Zachary out with a right hook when he turned to face the origin of the roar. "Two on one isn't any way for a fight to take place." He slung the hammer across his shoulders and looked at Scarlet, unimpressed. "Why not try fighting somebody fresh? Of course, if he's fine fighting you himself, then I'll keep out of it." A middle aged female drake with long silver hair and clad in a simple dress crouched next to Zachary, checking to make sure her husband hadn't broken the erdgeist too much. "Jorge, I'm not sure you held back quite enough." Jorge turned towards his wife. "Please, Jess, if Trafalgar could take that when he was a kid I'm sure an erdgeist is fine. He's probably just playing." "He's still a kid." "You know what I mean."

"There aren't kids in our ilk," Zachary responded as blood dripped down from his wound. The red lines drew themselves across Zachary's body as he stood up and transformed. Zachary looked at the Drake and smiled. "You're really strong. As far as our kind go, Zorlo is strong, but the two of us, me and this ****, are far stronger," Zachary said as one of his mouths smiled. "But you Drakes should know the rule: We don't meddle in your business, you stay out of ours. This is an Erdgeist affair. I trust you realize that guy with green hair isn't some feeble human. He's an Erdgeist all the same."
Zorlo's eye flashed, but as fast as it did, Scarlet's arm moved quickly and pushed Zorlo against the wall with a powerful and audible "clank" ringing out. "Dammit..." Zorlo said as blood ran from his mouth down his chin.
The woman retracted her arm and looked at the Drakes but remained silent for a moment. "As Zorlo's mate, I thank you for being so kind as to step in, but as his tribe leader, I must inform you that he's involved in a tribal dispute right now. If you won't allow us to settle this ourselves, then we'll simply postpone this battle. Honestly," the woman said as she turned back and smiled, "I don't mind."
Zorlo's beam sabers vanished and he smiled at the two drakes. "Much appreciated for your assistance. Names don't mean much on the battlefield, but I am Zorlo. Its an honor to meet you," he called out to Gorge and Jess. "But they are correct... this is our business. STill... if you're a friend of Trafalgar's, you're on the right path. Keep heading straight and take a left at the fork and you'll find your way out and to Particus. After you're out of here, finding Trafalgar shouldn't be too hard," Zorlo said with a smile. This battle had turned out to be eventful thus far.
(Not quite what I had planned, but comical all the same. I can't wait to learn more about Gorge and Jess as this RP goes on. ^_^)

((They're just here to talk to Trafalgar about the deal he made with Nyxos. They might make more appearances, but that's the main reason they're here now.))
The couple said in unison, "We're not talking about you." Jess went on to say, "But you're attitude is just like a child's, so self centered. It's like he's eight again." "Come now, dear, he was more mature than that when he was eight, more like six." "I suppose you're right, my blaze." Jess walked back the way they had come a short distance while Jeorge looked past the other two and straight at Zorlo, "Sorry, the pup was saying something about this not being our problem. This young man, erdgeist or no, is apparently a friend of my son's and I consider any of my son's friends my sons and daughters as well, so that makes it my problem." Jeorge looked at Scarlet, "So, Chief, I'm glad you don't mind postponing this, because I don't want your lapdog to become a part of my junkyard." The hammer bounced up and down on his shoulder as he waited for Scarlet's response. Jess had brought some luggage up, crouched down, and begun rummaging through it, content to let her husband handle the situation.

Zachary clenched his fist as claws erupted from the back of his hand. He raised his arm to strike as Scarlet rested her hand on Zachary's chest. "That's enough. It seems we will... withdraw for now," the woman said as Zachary turned back.
The red haired Erdgeist scoffed as he turned and walked away. "We'll settle this later, Zorlo," the man said angrily as the claws extending from his gloves retracted.
Scarlet skipped back slightly and twirled. "Yep, see you later!" She said with a wave as she started off.
Zorlo stood up and looked at the two before shrugging. This worked. "Well... let's get out of here. I'm sure you have much you wish to speak to Trafalgar about, and there's no sense in keeping you any longer than you already have been," Zorlo stated with a nod as he started walking. "Follow me."

"how much more are you gonna drink?" asked Seiko as she marveled at Suguri, Suguri had just finished drinking her 46th bottle of orange juice, "is it wrong to drink too much onee-sama?" asked Suguri, and as if without warning James burst into the room and pointed a screwdriver albeit a screwdriver with a small blue light-bulb tipped end, "eat sonic screwdriver!" he yelled as he kept pointing it while it made an annoying buzzing noise, however instead of reacting to it she simply stared, "what the frak?" thought James as nothing was happening, dissapointed he was about to leave but then he noticed that Seiko's wardrobe was dripping from the inside, "Seiko what are you keeping in your wardrobe?" James asked, "dont open it James! It might lead to land full of thinly veiled religious allegories!" she shrieked, "I'm asking what PRECISELY are you keeping in there?" he asked again, "a Lion, a Witch and Santa Claus" she replied, "okay I wont open it then" he replied as he backed away from the wardrobe.

Nephilim was just opening the package when Trafalgar made his comment. "What? Zorlo was hurt last night? I was so tired, I didn't even realize..." Nephilim said as the quiet roar interrupted their gathering. Though Nephilim knew it was Drake, mshe had little clue what was said. "Tr-"
"Sorry to cancel our breakfast plans like this, but I have to go attend to something."
"Trafalgar! If you find Zorlo, please make sure he's alright for me, okay?" Nephilim called back as the Drake left and Reimu looked inside the package to see a strange Bracer.
"And this is...?"
"..?" It was enough to make Nephilim look back down to see the bracer and lengthy note. "A new, advanced Mana-drive Bracer. Once I figure this out, I'll be able to heal without failing over and over," she said as she turned back to saber. "It also means that once I go through these scrolls for what I need, you'll be free to take the rest, Saber."

"Scrolls..? Oh! I would love to, but I don't have any one's left anymore..." “Oh well that’s okay.” Saber said, figuring something like that might happen. Reimu’s intrusion, however, kept him in the room. Saber peeked in the box a little out of curiosity, and said nothing as Nephilim pulled out its contents, including scrolls. He looked at the wooden block, Nephilim seemed to be excited for, and was ready to ask about it when Nephilim handed him scrolls. "Please, take as many as you need. It sounds like you'll need these more then I do, Saber," Saber nodded, and replied, “Thank you so much, but how do I use-” Trafalgar stepped into the circle now, and Saber decided he would save the question for later. "You'll have to show us when you've finished it, Saber. In the meantime, you want to join us for breakfast?" “Oh, of course!” Saber said giving a less than humble grin.
A warning siren that Nephilim held interrupted his grin, but now Saber was interested. ‘Zorlo huh? I wonder what he’s gotten himself into.’ Saber stood back as he heard not only Nephilim, but Trafalgar too, recalling an incident with Zorlo from “last night.” ‘I remember hearing shattered glass last night…maybe that was-’ Things happened fast, when Saber came to, Trafalgar was nearly out the window. "Sorry to cancel our breakfast plans like this, but I have to go attend to something." Saber nodded, but was slightly confused. Perhaps all of his training had left him from some very important school affairs. ‘Maybe…no, the more I train the more skill I gain.' "...new, advanced Mana-drive Bracer. Once I figure this out, I'll be able to heal without failing over and over, It also means that once I go through these scrolls for what I need, you'll be free to take the rest, Saber." “Huh-Oh? Thanks, but I-” Saber was hesitant to take so many of her scrolls, especially without knowing what was happening, or how to even activate on of them. “Listen up, I need to know what is happening, because all of you know something I don’t.”

Jess withdrew a small bottle from the luggage and walked in front of Zorlo. "Don't worry, he should be here any minute. But more importantly, hold still, this might sting a bit." A small swab was pulled from the bottle and she applied it to one of Zorlo's injuries. "It's called quick silver, my father's invention. It should expedite your self repair protocol considerably." She applied it to the other two most grievous injuries before she put the cap back on and returned it to her bag.
Trafalgar coughed, announcing his presence. "Hey Zorlo, Nephillim was-" His comment was cut short as Jeorge threw the sack off his hammer and charged his son. Trafalgar managed to pull Vanquish out in time to block, but the light around the striking point seemed to bend with the blow and Trafalgar was sent crashing backwards. He got back up quickly and shot towards his father. Jess sighed, "Honestly," she got between them and caught each of their weapons one handed, "do this once we're outside." "Yes ma'am." They replied in unison and sheathed their weapons.
Trafalgar and Jeorge, carrying the luggage, trailed behind Zorlo and Jess. "you got a little blood there." "It's fine da." "I'm sorry you had to see that. It's an old argument they never quite finished. Who's this Nephillim my son was talking about before Jeorge interrupted him?"
