Now that I ordered Infection yesterday I cant wait til I get to know the .hack world better

so I can know which class to be on fragment

I enjoyed it the most out of all 4. It's just sorta fun. By the third game your sick of the Battle system, but in pt 1 its new and amusing.

I didn't get mutation until I could borrow it off of my friend. And I just bought Outbreak recently.
Time Line
.hack//infection-Bought 3 days after it came out.
.hack//mutation-Borrowed when my friend beat it. (note: A LOOONG TIME after it came out)
.hack//outbreak-Bought late June 2005
.hack//quarantine-I need to buy a new ps2 first!

Sooooo there we have it. The battle system gets boring eventually.
