White Knight chronicles: Origins
Well I actually got the game and it still plays out like its console counterpart but at least I'm enjoying, kuukai if you're out there I'm just wondering who the heck is the white knight's pact maker? He pretty much killed me at the beginning and called me an insect, I cant believe leonard used that thing and the guy in it now seems like a jerk.
Re: White Knight chronicles: Origins
The original pactmaker and likely reason they switched to kids is Wild, the leader of the knights. The Asvarn killed his family, but after he succeeded in capturing Queen Muleas, Eldus (the guy you talk to before you die - think for a minute about his name and how he would look with a beard) convinced him to defect and escape with her because Muleas is the only one in the world who can bring back the dead (but FMA style - in exchange for her own life, which she promises to do if she can save her kingdom). I need to finish the manga but it overlaps with this story like that. The second in command and original black knight is Clive Ledam, who is also in this game and also might look interesting old.
I've kinda stalled in playing this game. The story is awesome but you have to do like a dozen missions every time you want to see any. If it's out here now I guess I should try to get farther... My PS3 have been difficult to access lately but Ep 2 also connects with the manga: Yugra used to have a body.

Re: White Knight chronicles: Origins
Clive "Ledam"? and in the WKC origins website who are those two? one guy with a VERY striking resemblance to sephiroth and I read what I think is kuraigu(I read it in katakana) and the other character with the red armour.
Re: White Knight chronicles: Origins
Oh, apparently it's "Ledom". I'm glad I started that wiki. Looks like I need to stay away from it until I finish 2 though >.> Looks like they may have changed his first name since it's so weird. When I said Asvarn I meant Athwan.
Yeah, those two guys are characters from the Yshrenian Empire who show up in the PSP game. That's a bu, indicating a b/v at the end of his name. The first guy is Ledom, the Black Knight. The second guy is the commander of Balan Fortress (possibly the origin of Balandor?) and the general of the Northern Forces of the Yshrenian Empire. I don't know how they'll spell his name, but it's something like Dan Zuark. He led the Yshrenian forces against the Kingdom of Berk (spelling?) 13 years ago. Your team's mission to Berk requires getting past his fortress.
I'm not even close to that part though...

So what does wild look like? All I've seen him in is in his incorruptus form. And the black knight's theme has gotten more badass:

If you haven't seen it yet, the character listing for the manga probably has a lot of people you've heard about but haven't seen: http://www.jp.playstation.com/scej/titl ... index.html
In rows they are:
Eldus | Radool, the original Dragon Knight pactmaker | Emperor Madoras
Queen Mureas |Wild, the White Knight
Lig Fuld, an Athwani Elder who tried to take over | Yugra, the nigh-immortal Farian Sage | Flavel, the original Moon Maiden pactmaker | Ledom, the original Black Knight pactmaker (top) | Gido Cantarabe (bottom), the alchemist who created the Knights

Re: White Knight chronicles: Origins
I cant believe that such an old man could harbor so much evil.... And mine is in english but not north american, the codex oddly doesnt mention the sun king knight, it states that there are only 4: White, Black, Dragon and Moon princess. I cant stand the fact that its written in katakana though, anyway in case somebody is wondering here's the pic:

Re: White Knight chronicles: Origins
He just wants to live forever and rule the world. Who doesn't?
I don't know, but the Sun King's certainly the odd one out given Grazel's age.

Re: White Knight chronicles: Origins
what does happen to the knights at WKC 2 anyway? Are they gone or is there some sort of cliffhanger that they had to go prequel instead?
And Was that troll on the WKC origins website thaumus?

I don't know, for a while I haven't had a TV to play it on. I really want to finish it but haven't had the chance.
Yes, you get to fight him. Radool too, I think.
Well, I love the whole soundtrack really...
Did they dub the voices? (there aren't that many, really, but just curious)
Ok, I think I'm getting more psyched up about finishing this in spite of the gameplay... I just need to switch up my skills or something to keep things interesting. That'll help. It has to...

I love the soundtracks as well, as for the voices: yes they are dubbed but its the stuff like battle cries.
Re: White Knight chronicles: Origins
So where are you? Did you get to the Battle of Zaam? That's where I stopped...

I'm still at the part of liberating this village from the sablewings.
