Bunny says that if you mean that certain project of contacting Namco Bandai and letting them know, one way or another, that we REALLY want .Hack//LINK, then it's still going and on a very good track. dothackers has played their trump card, sending them a package with lots of stuff from all the .Hack fans, including letters, fanart, a little card with lots of signatures, and a grunty (yes, a grunty. lol). The package was sent not long ago (May 27th, in fact), and you can read details about it here:

The package was directed to Rich, Community Manager of Namco Bandai and a person who has really been attentive to fans and pushing Namco Bandai with the fans' requests, and we're in good news, because just today Rich has acknowledged our little package and replied to us:

A little message, yes, but that means REALLY GOOD NEWS for us. With a reply like this, we have almost succeeded in our campaign...letting Namco Bandai know our greatest interest and having them reply to us and take notice of it. There might be some great news for us among the next Namco Bandai releases.

Bunny says that it's part of a Post Ranking System we have in the forums. The stars, as well as the title, indicate your current rank, which is defined by the amount of posts you've made in the forums. The ranking goes like this:

• Lurker: 1 post (No Stars...Though it should be 1 Star)
• .hacker: 25 posts (2 Stars)
• .hack//legend: 300 posts (3 Stars)
• .hack//expert: 700 (4 Stars)
• .hack//aficionado: 1000 (5 Stars)
• custom (PM an admin for a custom rank): 2000 (6 Stars)

Right now you're a lurker, with 5 posts...but once you make your 25th post, you'll have 2 stars and your title will be changed to ".hacker". Then when you get to 300 posts you'll have a new star and your title will change to ".hack//legend", and so on.

"Hasao" is actually taken. Same with "Orca". "Bulmung" is avaliable though.
However, "Haseo" and "Balmung" are also taken. And by members with 0 posts and inactive for years, in fact.

No, the oppressor/dictactors are me and nobodyknows.
You should fear us O-O
d5t is actually one of the nicest admins and site owners you could ever meet. One that really cares for all their members (and .Hack fans overall) and organizes really cool stuff...from fun activities with the fans to localization projects directed towards gaming companies.

Anyways, this is the "Welcoming thread" and it should be kept as such, for welcoming new members and not exactly for bringing up new discussions. If you have further doubts about this forum you could create a new topic asking about them, or contact a staff member directly :3

I had to make a new account since i forgot my info from yrs back....well i was pretty active back then...im soo lost now idk whats going on with the .hack franchise and was wondering what ive missed out with the .hack community..hope everyone is well, i myself am fine, joined the army, and came back here for my interest in .hack and to get back into this community since i missed alot of yall..sadly i forgot those who i met since its been about few yrs maybe 4 or 5 to be exact..haha
