He quickly created a copy of the object he made and hopped outside, How many bad guy's protected their enemies? He didn't care, he may be with Dios, but he couldn't bring himself to hurt the girl. Was he meant to be even on the side of Dios? He didn't know anymore

Though the Twins nodded at Kisara's reply, in truth, they were doubtful it could happen. Not under the terms that Kisara had said, anyway. But that was something that could wait until later. Oni entered the room and as he and Kisara began talking, the twins retreated a little to talk themselves as they listened. "Something on your mind, sis?" Lumina asked quietly.

Her sister nodded. "Yeah... This... may not end well If we meet with Hiro, I feel. I don't think he or Kisara would simply let us go if we decided to leave," Namine replied back just as quietly as they heard Oni decide he would meet with the Fire Councilman.

"Then should we run now? I can get us away from here faster then they could hope to move," Lumina replied as the others turned to the Twins, their own conversation at a close.

"No, now isn't right. Let's see what happens here first," Namine finished quietly as the two girls turned and smiled simultaneously at Oni and Kisara. "Good to see you're going to be coming with us, Oni."

"Yeah! With a healer traveling with us, we-" she paused for a split second. "Won't have to worry so much about injuries," Lumina finished as if she never paused, realizing she'd nearly spoken a though instead. "Plus, it means more friends coming along."

Raymond hid in a sand dune; it would take at least an hour before he could fire another shell. Bullets however would only take a few minutes or so. Sadly, he would have to revert to those if the man had chosen to follow him. ‘If that man is of the offensive type, I’ll have to shoot him in the head, otherwise he’ll kill me, and I cannot let that happen.’

Takayuki peered out the door to see her two guardians fending off the deadly haze. All around, however, people were not so lucky. The fog had taken the lives of the village. Realizing the nature of the fog, Takayuki immediately covered her mouth and closed the door again. “B-But it’s supposed to be peaceful in Wood Country… n-none of the text books wrote of this…”

“Thank you, but my healing abilities are slow. So don’t get into too much trouble just because I can heal your wounds.” Just as he finished his sentence his mother returned with three rabbits. “Can I borrow one of you ladies to cook this meat?” Oni raised his hand as a quick interruption. “Mother, I’m going to escort these ladies back to Fire Country…” Kisara added in joyfully, “He’s also going to join the World Council’s army!”

Zanza's jeep shot over the sand dune Raymond was within Zanza was scanning the area for the figure of a small child running. But that was made difficult by the limited field of vision he had thanks to the suit he was wearing, and on top of that the sandstorm was still raging. On the plus side, he knew he had been on the right track, and even if the boy got away this time, he should be able to catch up to him again. The thunderous sound of the exploding campsite cut through the storm and a pole crashed into the sand in front of him and in his attempt to avoid it his jeep spun around on the sand and threw him a short distance. He bounced off the sand once and rolled several times before ultimately ending up on his back.

"Stupid piece of crap car." Zanza muttered from the ground. He was slightly sore from the throw but otherwise no worse for wear. He heard the jeep's engine sputter and then cut out. He lifted his head to look at the jeep, and spun his hood so that it was facing forward once more, the vehicle looked to be in one piece. He slowly picked himself up and stumbled back over to the jeep. Some sand had gotten under his hood, but he wasn't about to take it off lest even more of it get in. The jeep started back up without much trouble. He wasn't about to lose the kid because of a little toss like that and set off once more.

The poisoning smoke was clearing "Damn!, it's been too long since this happened...." he made his fan-thingy spin faster "Let's end this" he covered his mouth with one hand and spined with his other hand, using his wood magic, the fan, then walked straight ahead "C'mon, if something happens to her or me it will be your fault!"

"Of course, Oni. We'll still be careful," Namine replied back as Oni's mother walked in with the rabbits. The though of having some actual meat was a tempting thing for them and even though they'd just eaten, it still made their mouths water just a bit. Then Oni said he'd escort the three of them back to Fire and the Twins smiled. Kisara's add-on made them giggle as they wondered what Oni's mother would say and think about that, as she seemed somewhat against the three Fire girls being around Oni.

Raymond let out a sigh of relief even though Zanza’s jeep nearly “ate” his head. He stood up and brushed the sand out of his clothes, unaware of a piece of shrapnel lodged into his modified arm. Raymond was not sure is he could locate the epicenter of the earthquake, due to his limited visibility. In an attempt to chase the fault line, Raymond returned to the encampment, or rather, what was left of encampment.

The Metal troops were advancing an object from Wood Country’s South-West port. They narrowly avoided the Forbidden Wood Mage’s conduct by no more than a mile. The object was under heavy surveillance, and moved in four pieces by four separate trucks.

((I’ll take assumed role of Crazy McSmokiedokie(Forbidden Wood) next post unless you want to? You can make him a character if you wanna.))

Oni’s mother’s face did not mask her frustration. “Out! All of you! Get out of my house!” In her rage she activated her magic, which appeared as a wall of vines and branches, literally pushing them out. Immediately afterwards books and clothing flew out of the roof of the house, obviously Oni’s. A wall then shielded Oni, or anyone for that matter, for entering the wooden hut. “Wow…” Kisara was the first to speak. “I think she disapproves.” Oni hurriedly went to collect his belongings, “It’s not funny!”

“Wow… I think she disapproves.”

The Twins burst into laughter almost immediately at Kisara's statement; the way she'd said it for the situation was perfect. Even when Oni had shouted back, the two were still having some trouble getting back under control for a bit. "Ah, we needed that..." Lumina said as they calmed down a caught their breath.

"Yes. I feel so much better now after that. Like a bit of worry left with it," Namine echoed as Lumina nodded in agreement.

"Me too. Thank for that, Kisara, Oni," Lumina finished as they smiled, their demeanor a bit happier now.

The second soldier had time to pull his hand off the trigger before Khas cracked his skull open with a thwack of his spear. He continued his spin, carrying his blade into the third soldier followed by the butt of his spear. He ran the fourth soldier through with his spear and stomped hard on the third soldier. This was too few of men, where was the rest of the squad? He heard an explosion of gunfire from the direction of the bunker. He grabbed a pair of grenades and ran up the hill. When he came into view he saw a metal soldier tossing the corpsman through the air and into a barrel. The other five metal soldiers cheered the man on. Khas looked on from the corner of the bunker. Offensive type, and a powerful one too. The man was lumbering over to the corporal struggling to stand, a weak sandstorm stirred around him. Khas breathed a sigh of relief, the man was still alive.

He hefted his spear and threw it. The blade punched through the metal soldier's chest and impaled itself in the side of the main structure. Khas sprinted towards the other five soldiers and tossed the two frag grenades at them. He didn't wait to see if any of them survived, instead he focused on the officer who, despite a hole in his chest, was bearing down on Khas. He was stronger than most of those gifted with offensive earth magic and was excellent at hand to hand, but he did not want to risk this guy getting the upper hand so he rolled out of the way. Khas focused on not getting hit and blocking what he couldn't dodge. The man's fist was like a boulder falling off a cliff. Khas was very glad he had decided not to try wrestling with this man. His bracers were taking a pounding that he hadn't thought them able to withstand and then one of the man's punches turned into a grab and he started crushing Khas. Come on body, just a few more seconds. He heard the crack of a rifle or maybe it was his spine, either way he felt the pressure disappear and a few seconds later he found himself lying on the ground. The sergeant standing over him worried. "I told you I should have come with you." "And I told you I needed you to cover me. The corporal's in a bad way, and I'm guessing the private's dead. See to them." Khas walked, unevenly to his spear and yanked it out of the wall. He turned to see the soldiers looking at him, rather than doing what they were told. "That was an order, not a suggestion."

Khas looked at himself in a bathroom mirror. The metal soldier had left deep dents in the armor and Khas was extremely thankful for whoever invented whatever this stuff was made of because he was sure he would have had the life squeezed out of him otherwise. And the sergeant was a very good shot, he would have to put the man's name in for a promotion later. Or just field promote him when the platoon arrived, assuming it arrived at all. A knock on the door preambled the sergeant's entrance. "Sir, the corporal should be alright if he can get a day or two of rest. We found the private's body, his chest was caved in." "Thank you Sergeant." The man nodded. "I need you and the private back out there, at least until our reinforcements arrive. I would bring some light armor next time, there's a couple of unguided rockets in the armory on Beta hall." "Sir, yes sir." The sergeant left to prepare for the next wave of metal soldiers and Khas went to the war room. He unrolled a map, using bullets and the pins from the grenades he had used earlier to hold the corners down. He grabbed a radio and began sending out orders for the majority of the platoons to begin taking up defensive postures. Something was coming, he didn't know what yet, but something that would tip the war one way or the other was about to happen.

Kisara nodded, and snapped her fingers leaving her thumb up after. “Well someone needed to say something right?”

Oni returned with his books in hand and his bokken tucked in his obi. “Sorry about that…” Oni glared at Kisara, “Why’d you have to go and tell her that?” “What’s the matter Oni? Mommy won’t let you join the army?” Kisara snapped back. “Whatever, let’s just go…” Kisara grinned, acknowledging her victory.

Metal country trucks ran down trees and even homes, nothing could so much as halt them from delivering whatever was inside the trucks.

Marcus stood over Ryan, his ice had shattered, but that did not matter, he used his chance to bind Ryan in ice, and brushed his shirt. “Waziss?” He looked down at his hand and blood tainted it. “ ’e ga meh good…”

"Ha!, that's all you've got?" he made a hand-shaped rock, and destroyed the ice with it "are you prepared to die?" he grabbed Marcus by the shirt, then throwed him to a wall, that sucked Marcus' arms and legs, making pressure to break them "So" he walked to him "Your hour has come...." he closed his hand, and the wall was even more closed, Ryan covered hisarms with earth and started punching him in the stomach and face, and said between punches "You....Aren't.....Going....To....Get....Outtta here!!..... I told you!" he punched Marcus one more time in the face, and spikes got out of the earth in his arms and knuckles "Say your last words...."

The twins giggled again as the four of them started off, slowly leaving Oni's home and way of life behind them.

Returning to Fire country... the thought hadn't crossed their minds until Oni had said it to him rather unamused mother. It made sense, of course, that Hiro would normally be found in Fire country, but until then, actually returning had been the last thing on their minds and was giving them second thoughts. Especially if any of their pursuers actually had managed to survive Namine's lethal blast of lightning.

But leaving had its problems too. It meant possibly facing down Kisara as one outcome. It also meant giving up Oni's healing powers. Though healing injuries would be nice, in truth, it was Lumina's concern of her sister's health after using her powers that wanted the Wood boy's healing powers. Especially as Namine tended to become sickly or weak a little after using her powers and she used them today already...

Thoughts aside, the twins watched Oni and Kisara as they walked. Mostly Oni and that strange weapon of his. "Say Oni, That exactly is that at your waist?" Lumina asked curiously.

"Do you actually fight with that thing," Namine asked with just as much curiosity.

Marcus grinned, “ ’ig Benny’s ear…” Marcus spat blood in Ryan’s eye.

The four trucks had reached the Metal Army’s main encampment and the four crates were unloaded. After an hour of construction, the EMkII was setup. “The can will complete erase from existence anything that its beam touches.”

Oni removed his bokken from his obi, “This? It is a wooden sword.” He tossed it to Lumina, “Here. I use it because it is the best bet I have in a fight, since my magic limits me to healing people… and nothing more.” Kisara scoffed, “What’s the matter Oni, can’t fight without a little helper?” She stuck her tongue out in order to mock him, but he was trying to ignore her. “I carved it myself, and it is wooden as opposed to metal because I don't know any blacksmiths.”

He cleaned his face "You...." he punched Marcus in the face with the spiky hands, then the wall let him go and he grabbed him by the throat, and now that Marcus was weak and couldn't move he was choking him relied "Do i kill you now? or should i just drown you in the water?" he walked to the sea "No.... i'm making sure i kill you....heheheheheh" he choked him, then grabbed his neck with his whole arm, and maked the spikes to grow

Lumina caught it on reaction, not expecting Oni to throw it, and spun it between her fingers like a large baton before holding it to look at. "I see. It's lighter then i thought it would be," Lumina replied as she spun it to her sister, whom spun it before grasping it's 'hilt'.

Namine looked it over a lot more closely then her sister did as she tapped it and swung it a few times. "It seems well made though. Probably solid enough to break bones, I'd say," Namine followed up as she spun and tossed it back to Oni. "Are you good with it, Oni?"

A gunshot went off, pain ran up and down Ryan's arms forcing him to drop Marcus onto the ground. "Oy, numnuts, away from me brudda." Ben walked forward firing off more shots, and with his back to the sea Ryan really didn't have a choice but to move away from Marcus to avoid the shots and then pain shot through Ryan's eye and he became blind in one eye. With Ryan distracted by the pain Ben reloaded his handgun and stood on the soaked ground directly between Ryan and his former prey, ready to intercept any attempt Ryan made to hurt Marcus. "This 'ere be wader country. Any'ere elz an' ya migh' na die, bu' wader protegs er li'l'uns." As if to accentuate his words a wave crashed on the shore next to them.

"you b-" then pain shot through Ryan's eye before he could even move another shot came directly to his eye, then a man who was still alive from the others got in the bullet's way "im....not.....le..tting....y..you......d-die.....You're the.....*pant* *pant* leader after all...... goodbye bro..." the man fell in the ground dead, Ryan stared at him... and after a moment he made a hand shaped rock and grabbed Ben "what's your name you pityfull bastard?!" the earth in Ryan's arm started to let off, making the bullets fall in the ground "Do you want to die too?!" he made an earth ball, and throwed it to ben's face, and dispersed it into little sharp needles, then made an earth Lance, and 'Punched' Ben with the lance "Why are you here and how did you get here without being killed?.... well, it doesn't matters anymore, i'm going to kill ya, and don't worry about him, i already broke his arms and legs, he can't even move, much less, use magic...." he grabbed Marcus and throwed him close to a wall just in case, and grabbed Ben and throwed him into a wall as the wall sucks his arms and legs "De-Ja-Vu?"

The shrapnel Ryan threw at him cut Ben's face. He gasped for air with each blow Ryan struck him with. And then Ryan got stabbed in his blind side. When Ryan turned to face his assailant he saw noone and then he heard Ben laugh and when he turned back the earth that had been securing Ben was crumbled to dust and Ben was standing next to the wall unharmed save for the cuts on his face and Marcus had disappeared. "And so the wicked shall dig their own graves, but it falls to the just to lay them to rest." His accent was gone and his expression was grim. And then Ryan was speared from everyside by blood from the ground.

The blood from Ryan's previous savior flew past Ryan and onto Ben's outstretched hands. The spears deformed into beads of blood that floated in the air around Ryan and then shot down into him again. Ben could end this at anytime, but Ryan needed to suffer for what he'd done. "You may call me vengeance." The blood beaded up again and floated all around Ryan, their number had increased thanks to Ryan's blood. All of Ryan's nearby allies were suffering similar but more swift fates as Ryan himself.

"*Cough* *Cough* Y-you bastard.... damn he's a forbbiden Mage..... but i can control everything here..." he jumped with fury and started the real battle, he made rage movements with his hands and arms, then the houses all around and other things were destroyed, and get into the air, making a platform for Ryan to get on, then Ryan grabbed with his magic other objects and houses and transformed them into platforms, and slammed them into the ground in a range of 1 or 2 miles, then floated into his platform, staring directly at Ben...
