Story: It's been some time since "The World" as everyone knew it vanished from the shelves of online gaming stores nationwide. This occured a couple of months after a cyber-terrorist attack in Asia caused all major internet-based systems and programs to collapse. Others were deleted entirely. Among those deleted was "The World", which at the time before the attack was a widely popular online game - mostly because of its unusual history. Since then however, Asia has gone through a swift recovery and most of their online systems and programs are now stable enough for mass-civilian use. During this time, a brand new online game named "Zion" was launched exclusively for Asia. The game received recognition for its performance and beauty. Before long it became almost as popular as "The World" before it. Zion itself is based on a futuristic world where large cities exist and are vastly populated by humankind and of course, extraterrestrial life forms. In the game, humans and aliens clad in high-tech armor and weaponary, must venture outside of the cities to complete "missions". Doing so means they must confront savage alien life that exists outside, but it also means that they get to explore the different locations Zion has to offer.
One very noticable aspect of Zion is believed to have been a major contribution to its success. A good portion of the programming codes that were written and used for "The World" were also incorporated into Zion. Therefore, many who were acostomed to the gameplay experience of "The World" quickly adapted to this new online game. Still, there are those who believe the reason Zion quickly became a popular game in Asia is because it distracts its users from the growing fear that cyber-terrorism has created all around the nation. Everyday reports from other parts of the world make it to the news, and more often then not they are related to cyber-crimes and cyber-terrorism. Still, a great number of users purchase the game and immerse themselves into Zion simply for the fun. Zion uses some of the most powerful and sophisticated protection software available, and is under constant watch by full-time administrative staff.
Unfortunately, just as developing technologies grant promising safety other developing technologies grant ways to interfear with that safety, and in the case of "The World", destroy it completely.

Introduction: Our story begins inside of Zion, on one of it's most populated cities "Terra". Here our protagonists introduce themselves and shed a little bit of background history, but mostly just explore the city. They can 'create' their immediate settings but all of the significant places will be created by (me). A brand-new mission has been added to the mission boards, which can be located inside any pub, bar, plaza, or public domain. The mission reads: Hello, (username). A brand-new mission has been added! Title: Locate the Rare 'Black-hole' Orb. Type: Retrieval. Level:15. Number of Members: No Limits. Location: Outskirts of Terra. Description: Your mission is to find said item inside one of the caves on the outskirts of Terra. Beware of dangerous alien activity. After you have successfully read and accepted the mission, protagonists must eventually come into contact with one another to create a 'Team'. Once they have introduced themselves to each other they can begin the mission, and in doing so, commence the actual plot.

Requirements: You must be an official user of the Forums.You must have acceptable grammer usage and writing skills. You must be willing to comply with the regulations I have established below. An image of your character is required in order to better associate your character with the story, though this is optional.

Regulations: Role-Play respectfully. No unfair or unrealistic character traits or modifications. Never exaggerate or you'll loose respect with your fellow role-players. Keep cursing to a minimum. Establish a stable and coherent behavior with your characters. Use your imagination and creativity to expand and enhance the role-playing experience. If there is an issue, or a problem, it will be resolved via PM and not inside the thread. (A good idea would be to PM one another from time to time. Communication is key for any project.)

The regulations are easy to follow, and they are there to keep this experience fair and exciting. So please don't break them. If you have a concern or any question let me know via PM. If you have decided to join simply send me a message and I will 'confirm' your place in the role-play.

IRL Backstory: In Real Life, Adam Nubuo is a full-time student enrolled in a very well known computer graphics institution. He hopes that one day he can break into the 4D Film Industry and create special effects. Adam writes reviews about online games and video games on his spare time. He is currently single.
