With a beard like that how can you not be manly?
Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast

Come with me in the twilight of a summers night for a while.
Tell me of a story never ever told in the past.
Take me back to the land,
Where my yearnings were born.
The key to open the door is in your hand.

Re: Who is and isn't manly?

He made part of the devil fall in love with him with his kindness, and turned her into a sexy school teacher. Made a Church girl fall in love with him with is upfront dickery. He kicked the **** out of the devil piece by piece then all at once, defeating the devil that killed the actual true God.
And when the Priest told him what he was up against, his manly reply was "I'm sorry, were you waiting for me to give a damn?"

I hope everyone gets rare items in their stockings!

And other several examples...I wonder who was the one to ever begin the trend of "the main and hopefully-awesome character having their hair spiked in large chunks" ಠ_ಠ
IT'S EVERYWHERE. EVEN GOKU HAS IT D8

How could you all possibly forget about Noah Fon Rosenburg, a.k.a. The Judge from Final Fantasy XII?

This man was the very reason why I enjoyed both Dissidia Final Fantasy and Final Fantasy XII, in a nutshell, as well as the reason why I'm getting Dissidia 012 as well. The simple fact of the hatred within his heart that fuels his blades and fighting spirit only adds to his manly regime.

Re: Who is and isn't manly?
IMO, he doesn't act all that manly...more like he can't let go of the past and has to remark all the time how much he's suffered and how great his hatred is (and he sure didn't have a "happy life"...but, if they called Cloud "emo"...;/), and at least based on Dissidia, he acts too much all "I'm just a pawn there's nothing i can do but fight a pointless war FML go get yourself killed i'll see you later". Not the personallity you'd exactly expect to find while talking about "manliness" >->;_Tri-edge_ wrote:This man was the very reason why I enjoyed both Dissidia Final Fantasy and Final Fantasy XII, in a nutshell, as well as the reason why I'm getting Dissidia 012 as well. Of course, Noah/Gabranth is one of my favorite characters in Dissidia and i love all of his style, attacks, and quotes. And his EX Burst is by far the greatest EX Burst in all of Dissidia (only followed by ExDeath's), and one of my favorite attacks of ALL TIME, and by that i mean all videogames, anime, movies, and everything else. But yeah, i've seen manlier. Much more manlier.

Re: Who is and isn't manly?
Eh. Everyone has their share of bad days, but at least in the Dissidia perspective, Gabranth was right on his terms. It "is" suppose to be a never ending conflict that they are all in, which I would find rather fun and enjoyable in the beginning, yet boring and kinda pointless after awhile. It all honesty, it just seems like Comos and Chaos just get bored every once in awhile and hold some type of contest just for kicks.TheSorrow wrote:IMO, he doesn't act all that manly...more like he can't let go of the past and has to remark all the time how much he's suffered and how great his hatred is (and he sure didn't have a "happy life"...but, if they called Cloud "emo"...;/), and at least based on Dissidia, he acts too much all "I'm just a pawn there's nothing i can do but fight a pointless war FML go get yourself killed i'll see you later". Re: Who is and isn't manly?
Talking about Tekken manliness, huh?

His last name is Fury, he looks badass, he is badass, he can use a freaking machine gun a-la-Vulcan-Raven, he was killed before and he's still alive now, he can survive direct hits from tanks and helicopter missiles, he can even throw the tank itself like a frisbee, and he forced a bunch of lab peoplez to improve him and make him stronger...to then kill them all to test his new powers.
THAT is manly >:3

Re: Who is and isn't manly?
Personally manliness isn't defined by the way you look or what you wear.I think it's your actions and the way you react to situations that make you a man.
I need to go to rehab for crackers.Or so I've been told...
