Jack Bauer cologne.

Unless you're from an anime, it's hard to beat Jack Bauer in terms of manliness. But now you can at least smell like him.

He doesn't go emo, he just get's majorly deppressed for lengths of time, and it wasn't over every little thing, it was what his Rival did, whom he killed, which most games don't let you kill their rivals, you just run around like idiots trying to be better than the other.

Too me thats not manly. Now if you said Sephiroth then yeah I could agree, but not Cloud.

I cannot respect a man who weilds a sword that long, a real man doesn't have to compensate! you know what they say, the bigger the sword.....

Well Cloud's sword is pretty ridiculous in its own right, though more in the dimensions of girth than length. You can actually find a lot of swords during FF7 that are far less ridiculous, my personal favorite being the Excalibur because it looks like a traditional double-edged sword.

Now Zidane, on the other hand. Many of his best weapons, save for the Ultima Weapon itself, are twin daggers, so if you want to, you can get through the whole game without ever using one of those enormous Darth Maul blades. In other words, when you play Zidane it really comes down to a question of how manly you are, and how big you need your weapon of choice to be. I think this is why you don't get to see how the different weapons look in Dissidia. The game demonstrates that Zidane is at his most "canonical" when fighting with tiny swords, while Sephiroth and Cloud both like their blades unreasonably long or broad, respectively. Zidane knows it's not the size of your weapon, but what you can do with it that counts.

Plus, he's got a tail and isn't afraid to show it. Who is afraid to show theirs? Kuja. Is Kuja manly? No.

I see what you did there...

Also; note the fact that he has an absurdly huge SWORD, fighting a guy with another SWORD that's absurdly long.
in other words, two guys with big SWORDS, SWORDFIGHTING with each other....
...Yup.

girth vs length which is more important? i mean, cloud killed somebody after all, no wonder sephiroth wore skinny jeans

Ok Cloud is alright but I wouldn't consider him "manly" and there is no way sephiroth is he is a total moma's boy its all he obseses over. Truely neither Sephiroth nor Cloud are "manly".

To the one that played the Cloud card in here, I agree that he owns a manly weapon, though on the concept of being manly in general, it's a big no no for him. One cannot become depressed despite having such a rough life. True men embrace that pain and hell-influenecd life and constantly strive through the immensity of such a twisted and demented world. :P *ehem* Moving on...
Image
Although he has feminine looks and a...not so manly alter personality when his left eye is exposed, his constant swearing, blood lust, and killer intent make Agito Wanijima a man among men.
