Ashtad looked attentive as soon as the phone was put down. "Nosuda, are you still worried about me? Just because it's only been two years since my husband's death..." She shook her head a little, standing up. "Don't worry, I'm just fine. I can take care of myself, like any adult." She looked at her schedule, noting that she would have to get off in a few minutes to work on class work. "Aella's matters are not of your concern. We will take care of them our own way or die trying." She put a hand on Nosuda's head, as if he were a child. She then proceeded to walk out, heading towards the exit of the guild.

"Ten years, we married as soon as we graduated college."

"At such a young age and with promising jobs?"

"Yes, I was fully aware of his health. We believed he could be the odds and live a long life."

"Yet he wasn't willing to do what was required to have a child?"

"He didn't want children. I believed it would take away from the funds necessary to take care of him as it was."
