Who is are favorite music artists?

I was simply wondering who your favorite music artists are, mine are The ink spots, Frank Sinatra and Nat King Cole, I know that my choices are kinda old but I used to listen to them when I was little, it kinda started when I got to play fallout 1.

Favorite music artists? Well, i could mention a few bands and certain artists of those bands...but, i actually like the bands as a whole, rather than just the artists individually. As much as i admire Tarja Turunen and Slash, for example, i prefer to listen to Nightwish and Guns n' Roses rather than their solo albums. Michael Jackson could be an exception...but he's not my favorite artist, despite liking several songs and a some albums of him.

I guess the title of "favorite music artist" for me goes to the man who has composed almost the entire Final Fantasy OST just by himself (at least for the PS1 and before era). The best and iconic music, full of epic, nostalgic and even fast-paced electro songs, that no other RPG or music artist will be able to replace.

If that's so, then my favorite is The Killers right now. And I know Brandon Flowers released a solo album recently, but I haven't had the chance to give it a good listen just yet.

Well, i like ALOT of bands, but there's just a few that i really love, enjoying several songs and albums of them, and can really consider them as my favorite ones, rather than just casual ones i got obsessed with once and then forgot about them. They are:

Nightwish (older one)
Linkin Park (older one too)
Bon Jovi
Metallica
Rammstein
The Black Mages
MUCC
The GazettE

I could include so many bands i like...Iron Maiden, System of a Down, Limp Bizkit, Muse, The Killers, AC/DC, etc...but, i actually don't listen to more than 5 songs of each band AT MOST (lol, i only like Starlight and Time is Running Out from Muse, and don't get farther than Toxicity and Chop Suey with SoaD), so i can't call them "favorite" bands at all. EVEN with Lady Gaga, who i can listen to her whole album over and over and not get bored, or Celldweller, my current obsession, i can't call them favorites...i just really like Lady Gaga's music style and it's quite addictive, and it's very probably that my obsession with Celldweller will be gone once my hype for Dead Rising 2 and its electro/rock OST is over. Yeah, kinda sad D: lol

Ever since I was a little kid, I've always enjoyed the trippy psychedelic stuff more than the standard geetaar and etcetera music that most people listen to.
As a reuslt, my favourite artist list goes something like this;

Mozart is such a huge inspiration for me, plus his music is just...near God-like. I know musical taste is all just personal opinion, but I honestly don't see how someone could downright hate Mozart's music. Maybe dislike it, but...Oh well.

Anyway, along with Mozart, I love me some Tchaikovsky, Bach, Liszt, Chopin, Mendelssohn, and Brahms~
I also dig Satie, but there are a few of his pieces that can just get to be a bit too much. :/

Well they are composers in some way or another (at least I assume the latter is also a composer), so I would say yes.
