This is personally what I think might have happened to shugo and rena during the events of .hack g.u.
Calling all fans of legend of the twilight if you wish to add something pleas PM me first so that it wouldnt end up messing up the story, if you want me to put up any parts just PM me.

He was thinking, the world has changed... Indeed it has WHAM "Shugo wake up!" suddenly he found himself on the floor wearing nothing but pajamas and standing above him is a young girl with short brown hair and light brown eyes similar to his own, his name is shugo kunisaki and the girl standing on top of him is rena his twin sister, "shugo wake up!" Indeed the world has changed, "what did you do that for?!" he asked, "besides there's no classes today!", "well I thought you might want to practice waking up earlier" she said, it has been years since he logged into the world but he still hasnt forgotten, however college seems to have had an effect on him. the world has changed.

That is a good question and I like where you are going with this. So are you going to turn it into a fanfiction? I encourage you to do so you already have a good idea and a good start.

She is known as rena, college student and twin sister of shugo kunisaki, at the moment she was wondering why cant shugo just once wake up on his own,"you know it's rude to push people out of their beds?!"her male doppelganger asked, she replied "well we are in college now so you better learn to wake up on your own" ,"well I guess you've got a point", he simply got up and went to get dressed and ready for breakfast, rena asked him"do you remember?","remember what","what happened when we were still in middle school?", he thought about it... While he was reminiscing she was also doing the same, "why has the world changed?" she couldnt help but remember the good times they had playing "the world" but that was before this was now, "uh shugo what do you think happened to everyone?", "hmm.. arent we forgetting something?",
meanwhile at the airport...
"flight 137 from boston has now landed all passengers please prepare to to exit the plane", she was sitting in the plane sleeping she had come to japan before to learn how to speak japanese now she's just there to visit old friends, her semi masculine appearance might fool anybody who doesnt know her as well as shugo and rena, but for now she'll be stuck at the airport for quite a while, while playing the world she was known as hotaru...

She was serving dinner at the moment, even though rena's cooking was still that of a beginner's the Nikuja she cooked for them tasted like that of master chef's,"wow rena I didnt know you could cook so well!"complimented hotaru who at the moment was sipping the soup,"yeah? I'm glad you appreciated my cooking",she said and then glared at shugo "unlike some people","hey what did I do? I do appreciate your cooking!"exclaimed shugo.ding dong the doorbell rang"huh who could that be at this time in the night?"wondered shugo as he went to answer it,when he opened the door, he was looking at a person who would be his personal equivalent to the devil,"is rena chan available?"asked the person"go home komiyama"said shugo,"WHAT?! I traveled all this way and now you want me to go home?!"asked komiyama shocked,"who is it shugo?"asked rena,"nobody just a stray dog!","what?! how dare you call me a stray dog!"SLAM! with that the door slammed shut on his face, his name is komiyama and he paid 3500 yen just to get there, he's not actually ugly or anything but he seems kind of disappointed that his trip was all for nothing he even brought rena a gift,"sigh", "better start walking home then",he began walking until he heard what sounded like an argument then a DONG! the door opened and somebody cried out "wait komiyama", he turned around to see rena,"wow"he thought, she certainly has gotten more beautiful"please come inside"she said he was about to go inside until he saw something that scared him halfway to hell, on the floor was shugo lying unconscious and rena holding a frying pan, he screamed"aaaaaaaaahhh!!","no wait dont run!"shouted rena but it was too late by that time komiyama was halfway home.

Uhhh... Shugo woke up with a painful headache, apparently there was also a cold pack on his forehead,"now I remember...",he thought, he remembered that after slamming the door on komiyama's face and then getting into an argument with rena,"oh, glad to see your awake" said a familiar voice, he looked beside him to see that it was hotaru,"thank goodness your alright",she said,"I'm so sorry onii-chan"apologized rena who was entering the bedroom ready for bed,"uh? why did you hit me on the head again for?",he asked apparently dazed but still coherent,"well it was rather rude of you to shut the door at komiyama's face"she replied as she lied down on her bed face flat,"hey! you still owe me a proper apology rena",cried an angry shugo,"good night shugo"replied his sleepy sister,with that he decided to go to sleep as well,until he laid his head to something quite soft... and it wasnt a pillow he got up and saw that hotaru was lying on his bed,"great" he thought to himself,"now where am I going to sleep?" he wondered, since their apartment only has two beds, and the guest room's bed was quite smelly which is probably why hotaru ended up sleeping in their room, but since the he was desperate to sleep he just ended up sleeping on one of the girls beds... In his dreams he was talking to someone a girl in a white dress who seemed very familiar he then realized that she was... "wow, the world sure has changed", he thought, he was at a bridge in mac anu, staring down at the canal, "hey bro find anything?" asked his twin sister,"nah, just reminiscing", he replied, "alright then lets head off to Lumina Cloth, I heard that the arena fights are really popular", "okay" said shugo, his personal reason for going there wasnt for the arena fight's, he heard that a certain lord partizan is hunting down a mysterious gothic ghost girl,"could it be aura?" he wondered until they heard a familiar voice yelling, "SHUGO HELP!" yelled a harvest cleric, her name is Hotaru and she was being chased by a bade brandier wearing green,"atoli wait up haseo is-","I'm not atoli please leave me alone!","oh sorry my bad, its just that you look so much like her, I'm sorry for the trouble then", with an embarrassed look on his face the blade brandier ran off,"okay that was weird" thought shugo, "well then off to Lumina cloth".

"Hmmm..." the trio were wondering where in to start looking in lumina cloth, "maybe we should ask him", Rena pointed to a rather handsome looking PC, "uh hey there could you help us?" asked Shugo, but the PC upon noticing them simply ignored them,"hey I was tal-", "why dont you show a little more respect to master N!", "huh?! who said that?!","uh Shugo under you", Shugo looked down and saw a rather short shadow warlock,"Geez whats your problem kid?","you better watch your mouth saku it would get you into more trouble",said the handsome PC to the shadow warlock,"now then, I'm sorry but we are rather busy at the moment so please do leave us alone","can you at least tell me where we can find a lord partizan searching for a ghost girl?","his name is piros the 3rd",replied the shadow warlock,"oh alright then thanks","you can find him at breg epona", with that the pair walked away,"alright then to breg epo-", "hang on where's Hotaru?!", the twins looked around and found out that they lost hotaru..... again, meanwhile at the arena "guy's where are you?", "Atoli there you are" called out a rather familiar looking PC "ready to fight against endrance?", "huh?".

Okay, I can see that there would be cameo's, but can you at least please specify what classes are shugo and rena?
